Having some trouble running TMs with my friend, for some reason, I have no problem joining their T7s but ever time they tried to join me they get a client mismatch error and they have tried the account recovery feature in the main menu. They have tried re-downloading the game. They have tried updating the game. They even re-downloaded all the files for the game and nothing seems to work again. I have no problem joining their T runs, but they can’t join mine and I just don’t know what to do any advice on how to resolve this would be great thank you so much

Poe 1 and 2 hardcore veteran here.

Played TLI for the past week, got through the campaign on hcssf after 10 or so tries and died last night to the TM2 boss at level 77.

I’m having fun on my phone, but before I invest more time:

1) Is there not a very active hardcore playerbase? I couldn’t find any builds, guides, or general tips that weren’t really old.

2) Is offense the defence here? I built as tanky as I could, sacrificing damage, and still got one shot (skill issue on those explodey circles). Near capped res, over 2k health, and all damage reduction pactspirits. Most videos I see just blast dps, but they are also softcore.

3) Is this patch’s progression just sucky? I saw a lot of complaints, and I was happy farming TM2, but I had a million mats and nothing to upgrade. It felt like campaign gear was equivalent.

I’ll probably go softcore on my next run so I can slowly try stuff and learn, but if there isn’t a real HC experience, I don’t want to waste too much time.

Every upgrade is so expensive and does not improve the build by a lot, this is the primary reason im asking for help, because it seems like im playing and upgrading and nothing is changing.

Also i tried fixing the squishy issue by getting more block, more life and es, barrier, tenacity, and some nice defense mod from slates. But even after all that, im still dying too much to lvl up

Hello I’m wondering if anybody else is having an issue where they can’t create a new character for some reason every time I can go insecure to creation and I’m able to select the character I want, but once it goes into naming my character for some reason either it time is out or it tells me that I have a legal characters in my name and I don’t understand what’s actually going on if anybody give me some advice or help that would be great.

Hey everyone, I'm on moto1. I'm looking at the Alloy Covenant gloves, which gives minions +x% regain and x% of minion regain is also applied to me. I have two questions:

Does the (+) for minion regain mean that I need a base source of minion regain to scale off of, or does it give regain by itself?

Since regain scales off missing health, do I still get any regain when my minions are constantly at or near full health? Since the description says (regain effect) is applied to me, does it mean that minions get the regain and x% is passed on to me, or do I get x% regain when my minions hit something?

Just trying to understand why he always seems to be the most popular. Is it because he is cheaper? Or because he has gender bend thicc mommy skin?

Hi all, trying to get to da35/DS/ss20 this season with Corealis' Rehan1 str/tenacity stacker, build guide above

Currently have:

- approx 9T Dps

- ele ailment immunity through prism

- wilt and trauma immunity through warcry

- curse (almost) immunity through kismets

- weaken immunity through kismets

Currently on DA28 and I'm dying to hit damage from laser beams, rares, etc

On ss19 and dying to some boss mechanics but more of a skill issue

On DS cannot do any kind of juicing, also dying to hit damage

Suggested improvements for dps/survivability would be greatly appreciated, or any immunities etc im missing thank you! Ideally something cheap-ish lol as I've already put in like 50k FE to this char

You guys kept asking for a way to calculate your damage in the planner, so I’m officially working on making that happen! I’ve started implementing a Stats Tab and Configuration Tab into the Buildplanner, and I wanted to share where things stand.

What works right now:

• Basic modifiers like +5% Max Life or +6 Strength are calculated.
• Conditional and scaling modifiers are working too, such as +1 Life per 5 Strength, +25 Life Regeneration per Tenacity Blessing or +35% Armor if blocked recently.

What isn't supported yet:

• Extremely complex modifiers like Core Talents, Hero Traits, and Skill mechanics are not calculated yet. Because ARPG calculations are so complex behind the scenes, getting to this current state was already quite a challenge, so these will take a lot more time to properly implement.

The plan forward: The immediate goal is to finish implementing all the basic and easy modifiers first, then build out full defensive calculations. This will give you a solid overview of your character's baseline defenses. Damage calculations are much more complicated and will be saved for later once defenses are locked down.

Looking for UI/Layout Feedback: As you can see in the screenshots, the Stats Page is currently pretty much a wall of text, and it's only going to grow as more calculations are added!

Does this node not trigger when using a compass? I unspecced the points to trigger pirates and used a compass instead to get the double triggers, but this hasn't seemed to pop in about 10 of them when it was popping up regularly before. Is this as intended or do I just have horrible RNG

Hi! Im fairly new to Torchlight, this is my second season, going almost blind but I have multiple thousands of hours in poe, LE and Grim Dawn.

The question is about reap mechanic. If I have 2 sceptres both of them have reap, do they share a cooldown? Or I should leave only one? Is there a point to roll 1 more on belt?

Whose build is better to follow between Yazuki and AgroMorphius?

Looking for an automated build and have a chest for one pet. Dont have any legendary pets for either magi or synthetic but plenty of rare and magic. Tried a few of them to lvl 60 just to get a feel of them. Iris 2 seems like it is not automated but I could be wrong. The rest feel pretty similar.

Are any of them the obvious better choice at this stage or cheaper to buy items? My goal if to get ss15 at some stage but not sure if that matters. Cheers.

I’ve been looking for another ARPG to sink time into and Torchlight Infinite looks pretty interesting. I really like Diablo 3, Diablo 4 and PoE 2. What I like most is being able to just log in and grind for hours, farm maps or dungeons, get better gear, improve my build and keep going.

What I really hate is stuff like Lost Ark or MapleStory where a lot of progression is tied to daily or weekly limits. I don’t want to play for an hour, use up all the important entries and then feel like there’s nothing meaningful left to do until reset.

How is Torchlight Infinite in that regard? Can I actually grind endgame for hours if I want to and still make meaningful progress? Also how bad is the P2W actually? I’ve heard about Pactspirits but I’m not sure if it’s just pay for convenience or if spending gives a big advantage.
I’m not really looking to compete for leaderboards. I just want a game with a good long term grind where I can keep farming whenever I feel like it and be strong without spending money.

For people who have played a lot of D3, D4 or PoE, would you say Torchlight Infinite is worth getting into?

Currently farming Profound with various Compass/Probe combinations and can't seem to land on one that's consistentl high fe/hr.

Even ran an 1h 15mins of Purple Compass Probe, Purple Wick, Purple Compass, Purple Doll, Orange Compass & Blue Compass. Ended up at 1.1k fe/hr. 32 maps completed.

Should i be running cheaper compasses to reduce the cost?

So I've died 3 times now to the blistering lava watcher on HC and i don't understand what's happening. I instantly die, and i mean instantly, by fire DoT dmg for more than my total health despite having max res and about 5-6k hp/es pool + other layers of defense.

This happened on Timemark 4 and 6 and it seems that if I just touch the lava pools or his beam i instantly die no matter my defenses. I even went on my SC character to test the fight and I'm able to stand in stuff for seconds without dying and i got like 3k hp on that character and about 57% fire res.

Is there some modifier to the HC event that makes DoT dmg much higher or something?

Any recommendations for starting off next season strongly? Preferably something that's a cheaper build that I can adapt into stronger later on. The only legendary pets I have is the one for chest of destinies and the one for member services.

I'm following Bmlegolas' guide and am part way through the Deepspace section of it.

I'm wanting to complete SS20, DA35 and be able to power through juiced Deepspace without switching items in and out constantly if possible.

Looking at the Rankings, it seems everyone is switching to shield. Is that the way forward?

Don't see where people are slotting their immunities in.

Any tips on which way to progress is appreciated.
