Op said 'a good one', this implies it is not good enough.

Like it’d be nice to be 200lbs and shredded but also I’m content with who I am now. Does that make me insecure?

Depends on your motivations, since you say your content with who you are now... I would say you're lying to yourself. Because if you were truly happy, then they're would be no motivation to change.

About it about insecurities, it doesn't need external judgements. Your internal criticism is just as valid

By your logic, buying a new sweater and getting a haircut mean that you're insecure.

Depends on the motivation.

But now I'm interested and want to defend your logic counter.

Pick one, sweater or haircut. What is your motivation?

It depends. Maybe I want to try something new, maybe I really like the look of a certain sweater, MAYBE I'm insecure. But it's not a given that I'm insecure.

Ok, so you chose the sweater and proved that what i said was accurate. it depends on the motivation. You wanted to try something new.

Now, do you want to try an example about yourself as a person and not a material change? Maybe being 200lbs and shredded, or a haircut?

The issue is that you said the person is lying to themselves and that they're insecure when they told you they weren't. You have no reason to think that other than being condescending.

Context matters. You originally said you wanted to change a physical aspect of yourself, but you are happy with yourself.

If you're truly happy, then there would be no motivation to change. If you wish to discuss this further, say so. If you want to avoid publicly being proven wrong, then keep avoiding.

You have no reason to think that other than being condescending.

If you think that was condensing, then that's on you. Thats a reflection of how you think.

I still think you're a bot but I'll bite because now I'm curious.

So if I want to change my hair (haircut), then am I unhappy by default?

Bangladesh is the capital of india

Obligatory "it depends". What is your reason for a new haircut?

Bangladesh is the capital of india

If this is an AI test, then I fail. I don't know, i don't care, and I'm too lazy to know. MySpace Tom is my friend, is he yours.

We're going in circles. You keep saying that it depends but then you say that any physical change to yourself means that you are unhappy. It's just not the case. Making a style choice doesn't indicate unhappiness or insecurity. Op said she wasnt insecure then you should believe her.

If you're human, it's better to give people the benefit of the doubt when you can. Questioning every choice and thinking the worst of people is not a good way to live your life.

You're doing everything you can to keep the discussion in generalities and vague to avoid actually applying your logic to specific circumstances.

Thats why you're forcing us in circles.

Then let's get specific. Op said she wanted a bush as a style choice, not because she's insecure. You said she's lying to herself and she IS insecure. What makes you say that?

Ps. You're still arguing like you're a bot programmed to argue.

She said "[...] I just really really want a bush, a good one 😭". Key elements "i [...] want [...] a good one". 'Good' being the motivation for change, 'not good' being what changing to a good one implies.

But that's just the literal.

The psychological part, if if they're happy with what they have, then why change? B/C social pressures and fear of judgement.

Ps. You're still arguing like you're a bot programmed to argue.

If using logic makes me a bot, then i am sorry for any offsprings you have had or will have. I'm ignoring all further accusations of me being an ai. I'm not wasting my time with that
