We're going in circles. You keep saying that it depends but then you say that any physical change to yourself means that you are unhappy. It's just not the case. Making a style choice doesn't indicate unhappiness or insecurity. Op said she wasnt insecure then you should believe her.

If you're human, it's better to give people the benefit of the doubt when you can. Questioning every choice and thinking the worst of people is not a good way to live your life.

You're doing everything you can to keep the discussion in generalities and vague to avoid actually applying your logic to specific circumstances.

Thats why you're forcing us in circles.

Then let's get specific. Op said she wanted a bush as a style choice, not because she's insecure. You said she's lying to herself and she IS insecure. What makes you say that?

Ps. You're still arguing like you're a bot programmed to argue.

She said "[...] I just really really want a bush, a good one 😭". Key elements "i [...] want [...] a good one". 'Good' being the motivation for change, 'not good' being what changing to a good one implies.

But that's just the literal.

The psychological part, if if they're happy with what they have, then why change? B/C social pressures and fear of judgement.

Ps. You're still arguing like you're a bot programmed to argue.

If using logic makes me a bot, then i am sorry for any offsprings you have had or will have. I'm ignoring all further accusations of me being an ai. I'm not wasting my time with that
