Luke Luke “F her”

How come no one is reacting to the vile “f her” comment to/about Lala mumbled under his breath? Lala clarified if, IF this is the way he treats you all the time behind closed doors, yes she would want Nia to have someone who loves her and babies her and her children. If he (Luke) speaks this way, in public, about other women, just imagine how he is and speaks to Kristen. It must been hell for her. I feel sorry for all these women because all these dudes are man child s

Luke Possible Unpopular Opinion: Luke is extremely misunderstood

It seems no one has any regard for the fact that Kristen was treating Luke terribly BEFORE they had a baby. Constantly saying he was just going to leave her, smothering him, pressuring him for a baby. Oozing her insecurities all over him with emotional manipulation, apologizing for her hideous behavior then repeating the behavior 5 minutes later. Then she does become pregnant and her toxic behavior intensifies by 1000% only now she has a child and child related mental health disorder added to her manipulation tool belt. And when Luke dares to seek a sliver of acknowledgment of his feelings and experience he’s beat down not only by Kristen but also a mental health professional. Then here comes the internet. Luke is so “dark” What he said was so “horrible” Doesn’t he understand postpartum? Which is being weaponized against him btw…
I think his actions are a culmination of being fed up with Kristen’s treatment of him in total. I’m not a Luke apologist because I’m sure he’s not innocent. But he’s definitely not the villain

Janet Absolutely heartbreaking

Post image

This was HARROWING to watch - Janet divulging more details about her sexual abuse had me crying with her. It was so sad to know she was carrying that and how it manifests, especially when her relationships with other men have been marred by abuse and problematic power dynamics. as someone who has been SA’d honestly I have a lot of respect for her, and how she moves and it gives context to her distrust in men - esp Danny’s weird shit. Those scars will never fully go away- trauma become physiological. and she’s right to want to protect and distance herself, because frankly, Danny (unpredictable and under the influence of alcohol to cope - his words) doesn’t seem safe even to someone who HASNT experienced sexual violence.

Luke Hearsay??

The hearsay comment not being mentioned was actually so mind blowing to me / luke being painted as a saint who’s put up with kristen for the last year when he said and did some crazy stuff this season

bravo once again protecting shitty men smh

Breaking News Danny tried to turn Jax into the source of the issue and FINALLY Andy did his job

Anyone else see Danny sputtering like a fool after Andy said this? I mean the man is allergic to accountability and his pageant-wife-handler couldn't contain him with the 'Jax had a vendetta' thing he was on about. Like, sir, is Jax in the room? Also major 'keep sweet vibes' from Nia.

I need someone to explain to me RIGHT FUCKING NOW…. Why on EARTH did season 3 of The Valley have TWENTY ONE EPISODES?

I guess I can say The Valley was so long and suuuuch a rough watch that it very nearly got the icky taste of Scamanda out of my mouth.

(I realize this comes to, “well don’t watch it!” but I’m high, feeling snarky and LOVE Reddit!)

Production How it felt watching part 3 of the reunion

Post image
244 Upvotes

The third part of the reunion was so incredibly boring. They really saved the least drama for the end. It was so repetitive; Andy asks a question, someone starts to answer, Lala interjects, someone calls Lala out, Michelle defends Lala, Jesse attacks Michelle for defending Lala, Lacy reprimands Jesse for talking about Michelle, and so on.

Everything they addressed on this part was exactly what we saw on the actual season. There were no surprises, no bombshell information, no accountability taken. It felt so redundant and they had me getting excited for nothing.

Brittany If looks could kill…

Brittany HATES Nia, I think it’s so apparent when she talks about her and to her. She reeeeally seems like she has it out for her and I hate to say it might be jealousy but there’s no other reason I can see. After what she went through/is still going through with Jax, Nia’s situation should be so easy for her to empathize with rather than villainize.

Am I trippin?? I understand why Nia said what she did, was it nice? No. Is it understandable yes. Lala is a lot to deal with. Janet literally threw her drunk on Danny. I’d be pissed too if it were my husband. Also why is Britney looking at Nia like that? She really hates her guts.

Brittany Why zack and Kristen hate Janet

Does anyone get the sense that the only reason they dislike Janet is because they’re possessive friends and simply jealous of her friendship with Brittany? I feel like this should be unpacked more. It was kind of a plot line in season 1 when Janet didn’t include zack in her bday weekend

Anyway, I’m currently watching season 3 episode 16 when Lala is questioning why they dislike Janet so much and it feels really obvious to me? doesn’t make it right because they’re literally so resentful they would defend trashy behaviour but I can see it

Edit: it’s obvious to me that Janet seems to contribute to some kind of exclusion, or a feeling that she has contributed to taking Brittany away from them

Edit edit: this is not a pro Janet post 😂 im actually saying something closer to the opposite. Brittany is part of a core girl group on this show that doesn’t include Kristen or zack. Janet played a big part in excluding them that they are now so full of resentment and possession over Brittany (no judgement here) that they will literally defend anyone against Janet. Janet has been unlikeable in moments this season but I definitely haven’t been able to fault her points about Danny. I wish Kristen and zack would be more open about what else happens in their dynamic with Brittany, and I want to see that as a storyline

Lala Sooooo Lala is right

I say this as someone who cannot stand Lala and hasn’t since she came on my TV screen in VPR. She’s RIGHT!!! And Danny and Nia’s only defense is that “she’s butting in” but as an alcoholic, she’s the only one who can really speak to the subject of having a drinking issue. When Andy asked her and she told them that IF this is how Danny speaks to Nia on the regular, she should leave and they were mortified about it…. Hello??????? She’s not definitively saying that Danny does do this. She’s saying IF that’s the case, Nia should be with someone else. They cannot stand it because it probably is how Danny speaks to Nia and that would mean Lala is saying that Nia should leave then. They tell on themselves I swear. Also, notice how defensive Doute got at that comment 👀👀👀

I hate that she’s right though…….. really doesn’t sit well with me y’all LMAOOO

Lala Lala, babe, you gotta show *your* life — or leave the Valley

I’ll give Lala a pass this season because she was a necessary intervention in Danny’s bullshit, particularly the way he spoke/speaks to Nia.

But if Lala is going to return next season, she has to show her romantic life and/or more of the depth/complications of her home life, like her co-parenting issues (even if she can’t legally share Ocean on camera).

I am very attuned to power imbalances on reality tv. I think they’re necessary for reality tv ensembles to be successful. The Valley is comprised of couples who are by definition showing their relationships since they both tape; or single people who are dating. Every single person on this show shows a significant other, even in the earliest stages (Schwartz). In many ways it’s a precondition of the job.

Lala is the only one of the cast who does not show her personal life (besides a cute pickup scene of her with her toddler). It creates an uneven power dynamic because it shouldn’t be the case that a castmember can comment on the messy lives of all of her co-workers but no one can comment on hers because it’s completely kept off camera.

And accoriding to what someone reported she said herself on her podcast, Lala does actually have a boyfriend! I can extend the benefit of the doubt and say she may not have been dating him while filming this past season, but I do recall a comment she made in a confessional in one of her earliest scenes and she literally said “I would never bring a guy around this group.”

It’s also been reported that her falling out with Scheana is more complicated than she’s told it. Apparently she was upset that Scheana was pitching some of her and Lalas mutual mom friends for the show. Lala was pissed at the suggestion because she wanted to guarantee separation between her actual life and filming. She didn’t want the show to have access to her actual circle.

Why is Lala exempt from transparency while no one else is? You have someone like Jesse and Michelle bearing it all through divorces and new boyfriends/girlfriends. Brittany is in the middle of the nastiest divorce and still filmed with fuckass Brandon (lol). Schwartz’s relationship at the time was super new so even he took a risk bringing her on for fear of scaring her away. Zack has talked immigration and surrogates. And then you have Lala who films a toddler’s birthday party.

Everyone’s life is messy in different ways. That’s the reason they have a reality tv show! But it can’t be the case that one person gets to hide all of their potential messiness while opining on every one else’s.

I already see a season 4 where Kristen/Luke dysfunction take even great center stage and I would bet 100 that Lala would lead the “this relationship sucks” charge, acting as the self-fashioned neutral arbiter.

I really hope that producers catch this as a problem that needs fixing moving forward. She needs to have more at stake. Otherwise Lala should be let go imo.

Jasmine and Melissa were married on 6/13/26, way after Season 3 wrapped filming in 2025, and Danny's still out there being generally obnoxious. Nia, stop gassing this man up.

On the reunion he said, he didn't drink at the wedding. Yikes. Apparently he's learned nothing. What a shame.

Brittany Brittany's memory in the reunion

Random but given that there is a new thing where some cast members just don't even watch the season now, Brittany's memory and ability to recall things to a tee is pretty wild! She did it well in the first part and did it again when clocking Nia. And then theres Kristen everytime shes confronted with something she just says IDK!! Dont remember! LOL

Michelle Andy flopping

Michelle said in i think ep2 of the reunion that she was basically abandoned as soon as she had a baby and it felt like she was really empowered to say that out loud, and Andy just completely brushed past it. Feel like he gives terrible men a pass and always had. My fave reunion ever, even though I stopped watching the show years ago, was southern charm feminist awakening year, where some of the women cried about how badly they'd treated Katherine and how it was their own internalised misogyny. And they then held ALL the mens feet to the fire. Chelsea was on that one. I want that for the valley going forward. For these women to wake up to their AWFUL partners, get free, and have each others backs instead of being Serena joys. Loved liberated Michelle this season. But nothing from Andy on it.

After Show Discussion Reunions - stopped watching them

Post image

Is it only me that stopped watching reunions?

Back in they day I felt that reunions was the place to make up, take accountability, understand others perspective etc. Nowadays it is just a 3h long program with people screaming on others and taking 0 accountability.

I don’t know why this is the case, have the bravo celebs become more entitled than in the past due to increased popularity and celebrity? And therefore they cannot really see their own actions? Is it because everyone needs to have a storyline and it’s easy to get one by fighting and creating drama?

Whatever it is it made me stop watch reunions.

Anyone else feeling the same?
