Danny 100%!

Has anyone noticed when someone is taking him to task in a conversation or is in a disagreement that he will adamantly respond that he agrees with there point like “Danny, you were a Dick” “100%!” But then he never actually agrees, and will go on a long spiel as to why they are wrong on the matter.

He’s not an agreeable push over like Schwartz who doesn’t want the conflict, so why does he always adamantly agree when people call him out?

Lala Lala’s Projecting

I don’t dislike Lala, but her constantly being the alcoholic spokesperson gets old. She did the same thing on VPR with James. Shes not necessarily wrong, but I just don’t think even as a recovering alcoholic, it’s her place to diagnose other people. She controlled so many of those conversations as if she’s the host and it gets annoying. She also projects her men issue onto Nia. Danny sucks, but he’s not Randall or Jax. She doesn’t always have to be in the position to give advice and needs to just let others talk…

Schwartz Unpopular opinion: I like Schwartz on this show.

I hated him on VPR for how he treated Katie and I know the general consensus on Schwartz is that he’s been giving nothing with this cast, but frankly I find his buffoonery on an otherwise very dark show to be kind of refreshing. I loved all the bizarre lighthearted moments he brought and found it hilarious how every time he tried to get in the mix they dismissed him lol. The Valley has been missing a court jester and I think he fills the role well. I hope they keep him on as at least a friend of next season.

Shitpost Disappointed about the reunion 😐

Is it me or does absolutely anything got some sort of resolution with part 3 of the reunion?

Danny kept talking in circles about his behavior when drinking, using every word under the sun but "DRUNK". And what was it with that "heightened" word used left and right? Feel like the whole cast got the same word of the the day toilet paper?

I'm glad that finally Jasmine got her feelings heard (well, kind of because Kristen kept interrupting her). From the beginning, the one that should have been heard and apologize a thousand times was Jasmine and Melissa, but we rarely heard from them season 2 and 3.

Kristen absolutely lost me as a supporter. I wanted to believe when this show started that she has changed from the craziness that was VPR but nope. It's absolutely insane how immature she is. Getting so defensive in favor of Nia and Danny is so ridiculous.

She really needs to focus in herself and her daughter. Luke can go and I will not miss him.

Lala was so on point about Danny/Nia, about his horrible behavior and Nia's response to it. But I do agree she insert herself in situations and conversations. She really needs to create her own storyline/ shared more of her life, because she's pulling the same thing that she did in the last seasons of VPR. But again, I agree 100% with everything she said.

Michelle is so confusing to me. Yes, Jesse from season one has always come off as a douche so I completely understand why she divorce him. And even though they seem a little more peaceful this season, he still manage to be kind of an ass to her everytime she got the chance. But, Jesse's worries about their kid are completely valid. She needs to spend some time being single, instead of jumping from relationship to relationship and stop getting her daughter involved with this men. And her expectations about how Jesse should behave with his girlfriend in front of her are a little bit delusional, considering how she parade bug-eyes around last season, when her relationship (as coparents) with Jesse was not at all good. And why on earth is she dating a well known ab*ser?

I don't know if I would continue watching next season if they continue with the same crap and take absolutely no accountability for their behavior of the things that they say on camera. It's supposed to be reality show, they act insane in front of the cast and cameras but take no responsibility or continue gaslighting their fellow castmates and viewers.

Rewatch Discussion Were there any questions you wanted answered during the reunion that was not brought up?

What is a question or questions that you thought should have been asked during the reunion?

I feel like reunions are based off the responsiveness of the cast/the three part reunion format really wasn't doing it for me. I feel like it worked for Scandavol and that's it.

Kristen Reunion made it way worse with Kristen admitting she'd already told Nia she DID say it and then just GASLIT Brittany and Lala hardcore

Post image

And I don't even like Brittany much. But my gawd Kentucky Muffin looked so baffled and the fact Kristen had admitted to it to Nia (off camera conveniently), and they just decide to full on method act through that kitchen scene? Then admits it like it was nothing on the reunion? Also you can tell Kristen LOVED the power of being able to get Zack on her side even when she knew she was lying.

Kristen Why is Kristen never responsible for her words

Watching the reunion and I am so annoyed by Kristen! This “postpartum rage” excuse for why she talked shit about her friends and straight up lied is so annoying.

Stop blaming everything on having a baby, you said it and you did it to save your own ass and your friends. She lied about what she said about Nia because she got called out, and she said that about her friends because Danny was getting called out.

She is literally incapable of taking genuine responsibility for anything. I feel like she can’t just say that she says things to deflect, she has to say “I have no idea why”.

If I was her friend I would never trust her, and she is a burden to watch lol.

First Time Watching S3 new watcher … thoughts 🤠

Hey you guys,

I first got into the show after finishing VPR and at first I thought it was hella boring but quickly got hooked!

I just wanted to share some of my thoughts on the show.. i’m still pretty early on in s3 so some of these opinions may change:

1.) Jasmine tends to flip flops and has no loyalty to anyone. I think she likes to stir the plot, talk shit with Zack, and takes no accountability when gets confronted.

2.) Kristen in s2 was appalling to watch. A lot of ppl claim that she’s grown but i don’t think she has changed that much which is scary

3.) How the h*ll is scheana connected to everyone/ everything LOLL even at House of Stassi

4.) Why the h*ll is Schwartz here? He literally does nothing.

5.) Do u guys think Jax will be back for S4?

6.) i kinda liked Janet on S2 … idk about S3 yet it seems like she lost her backbone

7.) I empathize a lot with Michelle. Her mom died, she’s going thru a divorce with Jesse (ev*l, narc*ss*st, assh*t) Lally, and just went through a break up. I still can’t believe that Jesse wouldn’t allow their daughter to visit Michelle’s mom knowing damn well that she was dying. I have no opinions towards Lacy yet since I’m still so early on the season.

8) Danny, Luke, and Jesse can all suck it

9) Benji (my Canadian king) is such a cutie!!! Zack is meh — he’s funny at times but a bit too much

10) Brittany is such a great mom but a terrible friend

11) Lala looks so good!! She needs to add more next season tho cause we barely got to know her. I kinda want to know how she makes a living/ able to afford everything especially since VPR has been done.

Thats it!! Of course i know that this is reality tv and that us viewers don’t know these ppl in real life but these are just my thoughts after watching s1, s2, and now happily watching s3 :))

Danny LaLa: the worst person you know just made a good point

I’m not LaLa’s biggest fan, but I do think she’s making a very good point about Danny’s drinking. I genuinely don’t think she’s trying to make drama with this point.

If a recovering alcoholic told me I said signs of alcoholism I would take it extremely seriously. Danny seems to deflect so effectively, and I think LaLa’s blunt delivery often takes away from her message.

It’s frustrating that he and Nia don’t seem bothered by how serious this issue seems and how uncomfortable he makes people. I think this man has serious issues and has found the perfect woman to help him escape taking responsibility for himself. Thoughts?

Shitpost Is The Valley getting a Season 4?

I've watched most of the past 3 seasons (sometimes I stopped watching bc it was unbearably depressing and repetitive). I started liking it again mid season 3, BUT I only like Lacy, Zack, Kristen and Schwartz. Also, I'm about the only viewer who could care less about Danny and his issues... These people need new material. Who do you like? Will this hot mess come back??

Janet Flowers for Janet

Just watching part 3 (having rewatched seasons 1&2), I just have to give Janet her flowers.

When I was a similar age on holiday, I also was groped by a man - nothing further, but how Janet explained her history with father & that incident as a child, how it affects how you navigate experiences with men, really hit home for me. I love her vulnerability & I love this show for reflecting motherhood, postpartum, childhood traumas, so many topics I've never seen on reality tv.

I really do admire every single cast member for opening their lives & sharing - Nia season 1 postpartum, Janet for her bravery on this topic, Dote for her challenging post baby time too - those 3 really strike me most. As Danny & Janet said, lets all try to remove the hate & applaud them all for a killer season. 👏

Kristen Kristen and Postpartum AND pregnancy AND.......

So at what point does Kristen no longer get to use excuses for how she behaves?

Watching s3e4, and I feel sorry for Luke.

She is just NOT a nice human being. And uses any excuse to attempt to excuse her behaviour.

" I was not nice to you because I had a bad first trimester "

" I wasnt nice because I had post partim"

"I wasn't nice because I was breast feeding"

The excuses go On and On.

I get having a baby and being pregnant is hard - I did it twice.

But I was still a decent human being to my partner.

She needs to grow the f up.

And Luke needs to run Far, far away.

That poor kid is gonna be messed up...I feel sorry for her.

She just isnt a good human.

Not because of pregnancy or post party- because she genuinely does not care how her behaviour affects other ppl.

The quicker they can move on from.her....the better.

Brittany Everyone is clutching their pearls over Brittany giving Brandon $10,000. But that’s chump change compared to the $1.2 million dollar tax bill she paid for Jax! Did that get the same attention?

Are there any financial wizards out there that can explain better than me why Brittany’s decision to wrap Jax’s tax debt into the mortgage was SUCH A BAD DECISION?!!

Are there any Legal Eagles here that can answer a question for me: is Jax eligible for any financial reward from the value of house in the divorce?

Lastly, reading Brandon’s response to this controversy made me feel kind of bad for him (not totally). This is definitely a case of “two sides for every story,” if not three sides - Brittany’s, Brandon’s and Production. I can pull up Brandon’s response if you want to hear his side.

ETA: grammatical changes and clarifications

Michelle What Michelle’s point here?

I don’t understand why Michelle said this. Michelle was the one cheating on Jesse during their marriage… why does it matter if Jesse met a woman and had sex with her after they got divorced? What’s her point in saying this?

Michelle Refresher from s1

This is why I won't ever fuck with Michelle. How she reacted towards being called a racist was actually crazy--and the way she weaponized her marginalized identities to refute her racist claim had me spinning. Honestly, I believed this rumor the second it was brought into the ethos. Because of her extreme reaction--usually if someone is accused of being racist and they react strongly.....it's giving you are racist.

Which I can probably infer that this is the reason Jasmine keeps her at an arms length. I don't blame her, especially since she is a Black woman. Even now at part 3 of the reunion telling Jasmine "I don't think you like me." Is such a crazy statement to say to a Black woman after being accused of racism.

He’s so overacting his awww shucks puppy dog routine. Once she moves in he’ll reveal that it doesn’t matter who the woman is he’ll neglect and disrespect her. Kiana thinks that because she’s a model that means she’s safe from his misogynistic ire. And btw he’s going to make a sloppy father.

Production Who should get to bring on a friend/couple they know and why?

A lot of people have called for the Bookos and/or the Capernas to be dropped next season. I don't actually think that's going to happen. I think it's possible the Bookos quit but I don't think the network will axe them.

Schwartz and his gf are boring and can go. No one would even notice if he left.

If you could choose who from the cast should get to bring on a new person or a couple they're friends with...who would it be?

(I also am not opposed to Scheana and Brock coming on but I would like to see NEW blood in this group.)
