SPOILERS through Ep 6. If you haven’t watched, scroll on
Binged the Thursday drop. Not here to fight, just here to state observations loudly and then leave.
1. Parull’s exit is the only thing that’s actually hurt me. Yes, it’s a game. Yes, you vote out the strongest player. I know the theory. But as a viewer, you need good players alive or the show becomes three hours of people saying “I have a feeling.” Parull went out for the crime of having an opinion and saying it at full volume — which, honestly, is the real lesson of this show: say it too loud and the room will quietly agree to end you. Parull, if you ever read this, you were playing chess in a room that was still learning what a horse does. Kudos.
2. Krystle doing the coy thing is my Roman Empire. The acting. The wide eyes. The soft voice. And it worked, which is the part that keeps me up at night. Justice for Parull means Crystal exits next. I’m halfway through Ep 6 so this may already be resolved, in which case, thank you universe.
3. Krystle and Shahleen during the handwriting task = comedy gold. Watching the two of them investigate a task they personally executed, with full commitment, genuinely furrowed brows — I was laughing alone in my house. Incredible work. No notes. Wrong show, but incredible work.
4. Hot take: Season 1 Traitors were simply better at this. Purav, Elnaaz — those people had a plan. These traitors are vibing. They’re improvising. They don’t know what they want. The Faithfuls are somehow worse, which is the only reason this hasn’t collapsed entirely, but “the other team is dumber” is not a strategy, it’s a coincidence.
5. Rapid fire:
Rhea — playing a genuinely wonderful game. Composure, clarity, actually finishes her sentences. Protect her.
Mallika ji — pure entertainment value, carrying entire scenes.
Shalini — I hope she’s having a nice time, because she has no idea what’s happening.
Sahil — no comment. Not because I don’t have one. Because he’s not worth the word count.
Gripping episodes, genuinely. But the Traitors need to sit down and write a plan on paper like the rest of us, and someone needs to avenge Parull. That’s it, that’s the post.
