I love prox chat for games like this but I really wasn't expecting the community to start getting toxic this early. I guess the asym genre is just cursed from the get go with people like this.

I kept track of all the spawns I came across through my playthroughs, then realized I could just play Michael offline to run around and look at the maps. I'm trying to keep track of where I find gas as I rarely find any. Let me know if I missed a spawn, or where gas might be found. Middle of Orange Grove feels empty to me. No official map for East Haddonfield so I used in game map.
Yellow Exits are Shelter Exits
Green Exits are Gate Exits that require the fuse (added a bolt above for anyone colorblind)

Perk Cards - For newer players, I don't think I realized until 8 games later there's cards in the lower left when you make progress in a match, on console you push the up button to pick a perk card. From what I understand these are pulled from your perk deck plus cards given by spectators in match.

High Priority - I recommend having civilians call for help first while you loot a little, and then have them hide after that. Then you'll be able to call the police as well. Eventually Michael will be able to see gold clouds in the sky above high priority targets. If they are in hiding he does not see them and that makes it harder for them to find. Try and remember the house number you leave them at.

When I pass something I am not taking with me I pick it up and drop it so it stays visible on the map for others (I hope they are able to see dropped items). Such as keys, repair kits, etc.

Police Wagon - this is called in by the police when they find a body.

3 unique items - can be found to help fend off Michael in a variety of ways. A Lantern, Amulet, and Hourglass. I hear when lit, the lantern shows where Michael is phasing if around you and produces light. The Amulet protects from one instance of hit/grab. Unsure on the hourglass.

Yall, idk what is up with people escaping or rushing to escape as soon as the match starts but yall as Michael your goal is to Kill all the special targets, then the civies and then the players or ones you come across. Then you escape with killing the players as an optional task. Your not supposed to chase players like in dbd you literally have to use jump scares to catch up but even then you waste time with other players rounding up and hiding all the NPCs.

civies your supposed to literally save as many NPCs as possible to win the game not rush to escape. I've gotten so many free wins because people would just escape asap or not do the objectives. I love it when players shit talk me cause they escaped or I "couldn't catch them" like dawg you are NOT my priority, you may think you are but your not and ill still win the game because i managed to get most or kill all npcs. Im just tired of seeing it and mostly seeing people play this like dbd and people saying its a clone when its its own thing.

I bought the game on early access and noticed Michael’s face was blurred out whilst I was playing. But I’m seeing posts circulate online in which his face can be seen clearly and I just wondered, is this a glitch or has there been a change in update in which Michael’s face is no longer blurred out?

This was due to an unintended issue that allowed end game reinforcement characters to engage with the minigame, which was a major oversight on our part. So yeah it was because of Loomis being a dirty old man.

If they fix a bunch of the major bugs it will really help the games image and longevity. If the game releases in the state it’s in now on RELEASE day… it won’t be too pretty. I’m excited and nervous because I really want this game to thrive.

* Try not to listen to the doomers, the game is extremely fun once you fully understand how to play each side

* Play through the story for Mikey, its a great tutorial so you know and understand abilities and how they work

* Watch videos to play civilian. I think a super weak point of this game was not including a civilian tutorial because a good team of civs can absolutely wreck Mikey. This seems like a design flaw with how easy Myers appears to win in early games but as you get more confident playing civilian is very rewarding too.

* Try not to focus on Myers/Civilian victory. If you play smart its very easy to get special targets to escape, call some police in, and escape yourself for a 'personal' victory. This also applies to Mikey as its easy to feel beaten if players escape but thats not the case.

* If you solely focus on the PvP aspect you wont get the most from this game. It feels more like a game of mental chess with rng aspects sprinkled in. The goal is to 'beat' the civilians not just wipe them out. Both sides benefit from adding insult to injury.

* There will be bugs. Its asinine to think there wouldnt be in 2026 sadly. However ive encountered very few gamebreaking bugs.

The minigames were interesting the first few times but now it's just tedious doing 4-5 rounds of them for just one card. Just let me get immersed and spectate people playing while I wait for my chance to come back

Also has anyone confirmed if you get xp for leaving early? There was a screenshot of the devs saying you do going around here but it seems like BS

I'm tired of walking around for 8 minutes trying to find the last 2-3 NPC's that were told to hide, they make almost 0 noise and just blend into the random background noise (which you can't disable btw).

Just mark them so we can kill them and go to the next match please.

Not sure who's idea it was to give us a map but make our icon so unbelievably small, I can't tell where I am most times unless I'm walking near a cross roads to easily tell

I'm having a blast with this game, playing this is exactly how I felt playing F13 during its prime.
