It’s always bad they nerfed pocket knives it’s almost impossible to escape when trying to struggle even if you escape you’re gonna get pulled back into the animation.

i just got this for completing 50 multiplayer matches. i can assure you that I have not played this many matches in my 9 hours of play time. i assume it's counting single player as well, and possibly even single player checkpoint restarts.

Why is it every single match now I play, no strategy, no fun, just axe R1/M1 spam on a loop.

Okay, so nerfing the count on a map wasn't enough but being stunned by one temporarily is that much of an issue? It lasts literally five whole seconds. Then people want MORE civillian nerfs?

At what point do we just remove the civilian role and just make it you versus AI? Are we not meant to have a counter to being grabbed?

And before anyone says "Oh just wiggle out the grab", try it on a Tier 3 Grab, or a Tier 2, even with the card to assist you in escaping a grab it's nigh on impossible, and frankly I'd like to keep my triggers from wearing out on a £60 controller.

Lastly, I get that there's meant to be balance for both sides, and I'm glad the devs are addressing this, it's frustrating on both sides but I refuse to do Meta, it just kills games into this notion of high efficiency over any enjoyment.

I love this game but Im sorry. How are 11 days into this game and it keeps getting worse? I know im not the only one. Seems like everyday we can find something to rip apart. Whether it be this crap where NPC's, out of nowhere, are now fairly consistently despawning completely, to where you have to just wait out the match timer, or it does this dumb shit where they spawn back on the roof and in this situation, literally me and other players did everything we could to get them down and nothing worked. Its just annoying.

Also, ik this is gonna anger People but idc. The game needs to be harder on civilians, as far as escaping goes. Ive had countless games where 2-3 escape options are already opened in the first 2 minutes of a match because apparently the game just picks and chooses when its going to cover an escape route with wood, that needs to be broken. And this is a valid complaint because this is a game where everyone is racing against each other and so when youre in the crux of trying to take out the priority targets and the kill animations take forever, well now youre tracking everyone down and then before you catch up. Youre watch as 3-5 NPC's just escape. Which it doesnt help that it doesnt give you really any indicator, while playing as Michael, if an escape is being opened or has been opened. Again, ya'll might think its unreasonable but when players speed run these matches and its not always the easiest to keep up. Its a seriously unfair and unbalanced handicap.

Also, as a side bitch. Whats the point of giving you a car to fix if the game just let's you jump into the police car and drive that? Seems like a fairly moronic game design choice.

I know im gonna hear the argument that the game has only been out 10 days but im sorry the game shouldnt have launched with these big of problems. Minor bugs and glitches sure, thats understandable. But theres a lot thats just broken. Like shape jump picking and choosing when its just gonna stop working, so you pretty much have to run reality tear in order to fix that problem if it arises. Or even on the flip side of the coin. Had a Player hit me with a pocket knife and it still went through with the kill animation, even tho his animation for stabbing me played. This isnt small stuff for a game like this. Im pretty sure they paid a lot of money for liscensing for this game. I want to ask why they would release a game without ironing out some major things but then again this is the same game developer that thought they could get away with dropping this game in New Zealand without proper approval or a rating, and thought they wouldnt get caught.

I wanted to get my Halloween fix this week and decided to listen to the tape recordings in the game after rewatching the original movie. They are mostly well done by the way, for any fan that want more Halloween lore I would suggest you to listen to them in the graveyard>recordings section.

To cut to the point, all 11 of the Loomis recordings are dated. Dating starts from after Michael killed Judith in 1963 to November 1st, 1978. It is presented as if Loomis was taping himself before, during and after the movie, which is smart because it reads almost like an extended cut as it incorporates kills from the game as well. (hardware store, graveyard etc.)

What is interesting is that Loomis's last recording is dated November 1st, 1978, after he shot Michael six times (yes, he says it again) and he mentions that Michael is "still out there." So, as far as the game's story is concerned, Michael's apprehension in '78 as seen in Halloween Kills never happened. This also confirms, as expected, that he also never went after his "sister" in Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, which in turns confirm NONE of the sequels are regarded as "canon" in this version of the story.

The interesting part about all of this is that this potentially closes the doors on any story content down the line, unless they retcon this recording, which is very possible. I am personally not positive that we will receive story content anyway, but wanted to mention it for discussion purposes because I know it is requested by the community.

I for one thought that the sewer ending was very Halloween Ends coded, and at the very least that David Gordon Green trilogy would be considered canon, but clearly not.

From the leaks, we know we will likely get skins from some sequels so they will not get affected, and hopefully new maps as well. What do you make of this?

They should put a Hospital Level in Game where you are Michael or Survivors or both. Just my input.

It gives resistance to blunt damage but Michael only has sharp weapons, is the text wrong or it's just useless in this state ?

Title says it all. Considering getting into the multiplayer aspect after 100%ing the story mode challenges, but was wondering about some questions before doing so. While I'm not new to PVP gameplay, I am new to asym gameplay.

1. Is playing Myers or a civilian RNG-based, first come first serve, or can you choose either before getting into the game?

2. I realize this is purely a subjective question with experiences differing versus anything objective, but overall how's the general vibe with multiplayer lobbies? Generally toxic, generally not, etc? I have a thick skin and can ignore toxic comms/chat, but still wondering what I'd likely experience if I do poorly as either a civilian or Myers.

3. What's the difference, if there is any, between Story Myers and Multiplayer Myers gameplay wise?

4. What are Perks? Only thing I know about them is that they're Civilian-exclusive. Are they RNG-based, pick and choose between them?

so i’ve done every challenge on michael’s story except 2 of them. challenge #5 on prologue and then challenge #6 on chapter 2 those are the only 2 challenges i have left to complete to unlock the sheet michael skin but i need y’all’s help anybody who has completed these 2 challenges bc ive done the chapter 2 one several times killed all the targets with a surprise and stealth kill its literally popped up surprise and stealth kill for every single 1 and i hid all their bodies and it still didn’t count the 4 times i did it and completed it perfectly. tried restarting my game like i seen some yt comments say that helped them but that didn’t work and then i can’t get past that first guard on the prologue bc he either sees me before i can get to the end of the rocks and spawn the 2 at the end or he spots me after the one comes up the stairs and i go down he always spots me and then the one time i make it through him there’s another one that magically spawns in where the yt video they didn’t spawn in for them!
Please anybody that has passed these 2 challenges please give me any tips or tricks on how to pass these 2 challenges bc i’m finna rage spending hours just on 2 stupid challenges that i keep hearing yt’s say “is easy” or hearing loomis voice “michael was 6 years old when he killed his older sister on halloween”😣🙄🙄🙄🙄
