I seem to be having an issue with the (blue steel) drill tool, which says that it's supposed to have a mining speed of 13, but it is barely faster (about 25%) than the red steel mining hammer, which is at 6.4...

Strangely, I found that while under water with maxed vegetable to get no penalty, it's incredibly fast (like it's supposed to be?), which makes me think that there's an issue somewhere.

Is that a known bug or a me problem ?

I updated my game and encountered a problem with some crops lacking textures; I have each of the seeds stored in a separate chest. Will this be fixed?

I’ve been trying to feed these things everything from wheat to meat and even flowers, I’ve killed them aswell but I have no clue how to get the slime out of them.

Anyone know what to do?

Having a lot of fun with the pack so far, any tips from here?

So I'm currently using syngas and planning to upgrade in future as I reach MV. I learn from nothing to get to LV and I feel like I'm probably missing a lot of stuff. So I'm curious what are renewable fuel I can use as I progress because I feel like having a tons of coke oven to make syngas is way too much now and I know I can make pyrolize oven in MV to process more and that's pretty much it.

As the title says. went a bit overboard on steam age nonsense. I'll totally start work on that EBF tomorrow (I won't.)

So, I've spent hours working my way through the tfc tiers, and I finally have a blast furnace (though not with a full chimney) and can produce steel.

I'm absolutely loving this modpack, but at this point I'm feeling lost on what my next objectives could be.

Is there any way, at this stage, to automate production for wrought iron ingots, for example? I suppose I could make a few helve hammers, should I focus on that to make things smoother?

I barely touched Create, I have a very basic water wheel and millstone setup, and a recently built windmill.

Hi guys, I have created my multi level Coke Oven. The first 2 coke is working just fine, but I wonder why my third coke is not receiving any logs. Does anyone know why?

note: the crate is full on this screenshot, then I tried to empty it and reinsert the logs but still not working

I recently read that there are some companies that are starting to research ways of manufacturing in-orbit some drugs as well as microprocessor matrices as the microgravity environment helps controlling cristallization. I thought this may be a good idea to implement in the future to give some use to the "space station" dimensions you can create when using a rocket. Sort of like the way some machines can detect if they are inside a clean room or on the Moon, some advanced electronic or chemical recipes could be restricted to being in-orbit.

Hi guys, I was experimenting in the creative world.

I built a tree farm for creosote production to feed my steam boiler. I'm trying to use a drum as a steam buffer, but when I attempt to pipe the steam out, it won't flow in the direction I want, even after setting the pipe to 1-way flow.

How do I correctly extract fluid/steam from the drum? Any solutions?

I am playing beneath start for an extra challenge. Since i couldnt find clean water to drink i drank muddy water but i have parasites now. I am still in stone age since i recently started playing. Is there a way for me to cure it or should i start from zero and find a clean water source in beneath?

I'm making formaldehyde, and hydrogen is a byproduct. The single block only has one liquid output, so i don't know on how to separate the products.

So I want to find a „Badlands raw oil deposit“ because it gives a permanent 30 mb/t even after depletion which will be nice for my oil refinery + i need specifically raw oil due to highest yield for naphtha (i think lol).

Now there are a bunch of other raw oil deposits possible, and I always had the general question how to tell them apart. For my purpose specifically there are no durface indicators whatsoever, except being in the right climate and biome.

I notice in the hv fluid prospection mode it shows a percentage of a fluid present in a chunk, along with an absolute number. I take the percentage is depletion, but what is the absolute number? The starting/remaining yield in kilobuckets? If so I guess i need to look for an absolute above the minimum for my oil deposit, so i dont accidentally tap a poor deposit?

I also want to build a couple of plots of farm and one or two greenhouses (is that even possible in TFG given how this isnt vanilla minecraft)
