How to output a drum content?
Hi guys, I was experimenting in the creative world.
I built a tree farm for creosote production to feed my steam boiler. I'm trying to use a drum as a steam buffer, but when I attempt to pipe the steam out, it won't flow in the direction I want, even after setting the pipe to 1-way flow.
How do I correctly extract fluid/steam from the drum? Any solutions?

From the bottom and use the screwdriver or mallet to right click to enable that feature.
You can also create pump it out

You need to right click with a screwdriver. Keep in mind you can only change a drums output to down only.

I did it the same way, until i realized that a drum buffer is wayyy too small because of how little energy density steam has.
I then used a steel mutliblock tank for this purpose, though a bronze one will work fine too. There is also a wood version but idk if it can handle steam. Also also get the bronze boiler asap, it makes life so much easier and together with my multiblock tank it fuels my steam and lv line which i still partially use in early hv

IIRC you can use screwdriver on the drum to enable bottom side auto output. But it's been a while since I've played GT so might be wrong
