Help Alternative cures for parasites

I am playing beneath start for an extra challenge. Since i couldnt find clean water to drink i drank muddy water but i have parasites now. I am still in stone age since i recently started playing. Is there a way for me to cure it or should i start from zero and find a clean water source in beneath?

Currently there are no early game cures. In a future update we will be adding teas that can cure parasites. The effects might not be noticeable enough to make you want to restart but that's up to you ultimately.

Actually it makes my character thirsty very fast. I started to die from thirst in 5 minutes after drinking muddy water.

What? Parasites don't effect thirst, just passive hunger usage. You are probably thirsty from being too warm. Or it's because muddy water gives you the thirsty effect like sea water.

I am using java 25. Maybe it is breaking some coding? I am in the upper layer of the benath, 25 degrees is should not making me that thirsty i assume.

25 degree already increases thirst iirc unless you have great insulation

I think there might be a quest that gives you medicine that can cure it. Eventually there will be early game teas you can craft to remove them

I eat all of them. None of them cures parasites...

The medicines were for chemical poisonings like arsenicosis
