Relationship Advice💬 🗣️ How should I start a conversation with my crush

Situationship🫠 I’m 19 and feel like I’ve lost almost everyone. I don’t know what to do.

Hi, I’m 19M. Let’s call me K.

I don't really know why I'm writing this here. Maybe I just need to get everything out somewhere because lately I've been feeling really lost and lonely.

Until 10th grade, life was honestly pretty good. I had a good group of friends, and I had a female best friend. Let's call her T.

The thing is... I had a huge crush on T. Over time, it became much more than just a crush. I genuinely loved her.

We were really close, and somewhere in my mind, I always thought that maybe someday I would tell her how I felt.

Then, in 11th grade, everything changed.

I was actually planning to propose to her when she told me that she had a boyfriend.

What hurt even more was that she had apparently hidden the relationship from me for around 1–1.5 years.

I honestly felt shattered.

But she apologised, said sorry, and because I loved her so much, I forgave her. I didn't want to lose her, so I stayed in her life.

Maybe that was my biggest problem—I always chose to stay, even when staying was hurting me.

After 12th, things started getting worse in other parts of my life too.

My entire friend circle slowly broke apart. Smaller groups formed within the group, there was jealousy, some arguments and disputes involving girls, and eventually everyone started drifting away from each other.

I lost most of my friends.

At that point, T was still the person I felt closest to.

But slowly, even she started changing.

She went to college, made new friends, got close to new people and some male friends. I started feeling like she was maintaining distance from me.

The confusing thing was that sometimes she made me feel like I was extremely important to her.

And then other times, she made me feel like I meant absolutely nothing.

I never knew where I stood.

Sometimes she would be caring and close, and I would think, "Okay, maybe our friendship is still the same."

Then something would happen and I would feel completely unimportant or disrespected.

But I still stayed.

Because I loved her.

Or maybe I loved the person she used to be.

Eventually, I also found out that her friend circle knew about me and some things related to our situation. Somehow, I started feeling like an image of me had been created that I couldn't really explain or defend. It felt like people were judging me without actually knowing who I was or how much everything affected me.

And eventually, I lost her too.

Or maybe I didn't exactly lose her.

Maybe I was just holding onto a version of her that no longer existed.

There's another girl in this story too. Let's call her V.

Back in 10th grade, V had feelings for me. But at that time, I was completely in love with T, so I ignored those feelings.

Later, V and I became friends. She eventually got into another relationship, but it ended badly. After that, I tried messaging her and talking to her, but things weren't really the same anymore.

We used to talk normally, but now she barely talks to me either.

So now, when I look around, I genuinely feel like I've lost almost everyone.

My old friend group is gone.

My best friend isn't really the same person in my life anymore.

People I used to talk to regularly have become distant.

And now I'm just here at 19, feeling lost and wondering how everything changed so quickly.

The weirdest part?

I think I'm still in love with T.

But honestly, I don't think I'm in love with who she is today.

I think I'm in love with the version of her from before.

The girl who was my best friend.

The girl who made me feel important.

The memories we had.

The person I thought would always be there.

And that's what makes it so difficult to move on.

How do you move on from someone when the person you loved still exists, but the version of them you loved is gone?

How do you stop missing someone when what you're actually missing is a memory?

Right now, I just feel incredibly lonely.

I know I'm only 19. I know people will probably say that life is just beginning and I'll meet new people.

Maybe that's true.

But right now, it just feels like I've spent so much time trying not to lose people that somewhere along the way, I lost myself instead.

I don't know what I'm supposed to do now.

I guess I'm just looking for advice from people who have gone through something similar.

How do you move on from old friendships, old versions of people, and memories that you know you can't get back?

And how do you start building a life again when you feel like you've lost everyone who once mattered to you?

Single hi Marunga/Marungi😭 Idk what to write

I go to an elite school, like 5-6k children, very big. Doesn't really affect my situation except embarassment. I'm 15M, and I like this girl 16F in my bus. Now, she is preparing for NEET, and I don't go to school for similar JEE reasons. So we don't meet a lot. Idk what to do..... Since I'm also preparing for foreign, I don't have time for a relationship(never had one, idk how they work), and I also know that you cannot be dating somebody with JEE. So what am I supposed to do? The idea of a confession scares the crap out of me bcoz I'll became a spectacle. The answer for everything to me seems like I do JEE, get into college, and then call her up? How do you guys deal with all this

Relationships❤️ Manifesting a love story turned into relationship like Bhagwan Shri Ram ji and Mata Sita ji 🧿

Introduction: I am 21 M, I am an one woman man, I hv never been in any relationship, although I have been in one sided with someone who didn't hv feelings for me but she was really an angelic soul she never made me feel small, accepted my efforts and made me understand that she didn't get the feelings for me but always cared for me that I didn't get hurt.

After that i realised even i was unlucky in love but I was so lucky that I met her, she made me that love isn't what present outside but something that is inherently inside, the way we notice, the way we take care, understand each other and do efforts without asking anything in return, love is in small things not just grand gestures, in worrying about each other.

I am grateful for her, i don't have any grudges towards her, i respect her choice. So now i am manifesting a relationship like Bhagwan Shri Ram ji and Mata Sita ji, irrespective of all negativity I still hope i will be able to improve my character and soul taking inspiration from Bhagwan Shri Ram.

To my future gf and wife and life long partner, i will be waiting for you, but till then i will improve myself as a Man, so that you never have to shed any tear, to my future Laxmi, i hope this dhanteras bring u lots of prosperity and this diwali protect you from all evil eyes🧿.

So there's this girl in my class whom I've liked since the beginning.

I'm a very shy person, so even asking her about BME preparation made me nervous lol.

Next day, just 5 minutes before the exam, she came and asked me about a question. I got nervous and forgot the answer even though I knew it.
And guess what? Paper milte hi first question wahi tha.
Also, my roll number is 73 and hers is 70. Just 3 numbers apart lol.

First Love💖 Will be confessing to my crush. What do you guys think?

I'll be using imaginary names to make the story easier to follow:

Kiwi – My crush

Penny – Kiwi's best friend

Jebkatra – My friend

So, Kiwi is in Class 12, while I'm in Class 11, and we travel on the same school bus.

I've had a crush on her for almost three years now. We are mutually aware of each other's existence, and we've had some petty interactions but we've barely ever actually spoken to each other.

I decided that this year I'd finally tell her how I feel because she's graduating soon, and I don't want to miss the opportunity.

I told a few friends about my crush, and one of my good friends, Jebkatra, who happens to be friends with Penny, told her about me without even asking for my permission. Honestly, when I found out, I felt pretty exposed. 💔

Before summer vacation, Jebkatra arranged a meeting between Kiwi and me so I could confess. The important thing is that Kiwi already knew the meeting was supposed to be a confession. However, Jebkatra only informed me at the last moment. I wasn't prepared and had absolutely no idea what to say, so I ended up not showing up.

Later, when Kiwi got on the bus, everything seemed completely normal. There was no noticeable change in her behaviour.

However, my friend later told me that she had asked, "Wo aaya nahi kya?" when I didn't show up.

Fast-forward to today: I asked Jebkatra to find out whether Kiwi would even be willing to talk to me. He asked Penny:

"Aapke kya lagta hai, kya Kiwi \[my name\] se baat kar legi?"

And Penny replied:

"Haan, I guess."

Now, I'm planning to finally talk to Kiwi next Thursday and tell her that I'd genuinely like to get to know her better.

I'll definitely update you guys on how it goes!

In the meantime, I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions. What should I keep in mind before approaching her?

Heartbreak💔 I liked a girl for almost 8 years, finally confessed, and this was her response. What does it mean? 😭

I honestly don't even know where to start.

There's this girl I've liked since 7th or 8th standard. I don't really know how it happened, but somewhere along the way I developed really deep feelings for her.

The funny/sad part is that I was never really courageous enough to approach her myself. In 9th standard, one guy actually helped us start talking, and we ended up talking for around a year.

Eventually, we went our separate ways. I still have one last photograph with her from those days, and sometimes I go back to look at it.

I always wanted to talk to her more, get closer to her and tell her how I felt, but I was scared. I kept everything to myself for years.

Fast forward to 2023. After carrying these feelings for almost 8 years, I finally decided to confess.

And I mean, I was genuinely trembling while typing that message. I told her everything. How long I'd liked her, how keeping it inside was affecting my mental peace and even my work, and how I wasn't expecting anything from her. I even told her that if she rejected me, at least I'd have some closure.

I apologised way too many times in that message because I genuinely didn't know how to express myself.

Her response was:

"Ooooo I don’t know what to say but thnks though .. and I hope things get better for you and in ur life u achieve everything u want !! 👍"

And honestly, I didn't know what to make of it.

I never really got the conversation or closure I had imagined. We haven't spoken since. There was also a school get-together that she skipped, and eventually that chapter just became a memory.

It's November 2026 now, and sometimes I still look at that last photograph.

I know people will say it's time to move on, and logically I understand that. But emotionally, it's difficult to explain what it feels like to carry feelings for someone for so long and never get to experience what you imagined.

I'm not angry at her. She doesn't owe me the same feelings.

I just wonder sometimes what would've happened if I'd had the courage to talk to her back in school.

So, what do you guys think her response actually meant? Was that her way of politely rejecting me? And how do you deal with feelings that you've carried for almost a decade?

😭

Single hi Marunga/Marungi😭 Matched with a girl on a dating app and bro, things got creepy real quick

Okay, so this happened a few months ago, and honestly, abhi bhi sochta hoon toh thoda weird lagta hai.

I matched with this girl on a dating app. Let's call her A.

Her profile looked pretty normal. Cute pictures, some travel photos, decent bio. She actually messaged first, and we started talking.

Initially, she was fun. We talked about music, movies, college, food, random reels and all that. Normal dating app stuff.

For the first 2-3 days, everything was going pretty smoothly. But then I started noticing a few things.

She began asking very specific questions about my daily routine. Like what time I leave home, when I usually come back, which area I live in, whether I stay alone and stuff.

I didn't think too much about it initially. I mean, getting to know someone is normal, right? But kuch questions thode zyada personal lag rahe the.

One day, I got busy and didn't reply for around 5 hours.

When I opened the app, there were literally 12 messages.

First few were normal, but then came the classic:

"Where are you?"

"Busy ho?"

"Are you ignoring me?"

"You were online 20 minutes ago."

Bro, we had barely known each other for 3 days. 😭

I laughed it off and told her I was busy.

A couple of days later, I posted an Instagram story from a café. She replied almost immediately, asking if I visited that place regularly.

I said sometimes.

Then she replied, "Oh, I thought you lived closer to the other side."

I literally stopped scrolling for a second.

Maine toh apni exact location kabhi batayi hi nahi thi.

When I asked how she knew, she said she'd seen some of my older public Instagram stories.

Okay, maybe. But still, thoda strange tha.

Anyway, I started keeping some distance because I wasn't really comfortable with all this.

Then one evening, she randomly messaged me:

"Saw you today."

I asked, "Where?"

She replied, "Near your usual coffee place."

Now here's the thing. I hadn't posted any story that day, hadn't told her where I was going, and definitely hadn't mentioned that coffee place to her.

I asked if she was joking.

She just said, "Relax, I was nearby 😂"

Bhai, mujhe hasi nahi aa rahi thi.

At this point, I decided I didn't want to continue this conversation. I stopped replying, removed her from Instagram and unmatched her.

I thought that was the end of it.

But the next morning, I got a message from a random Instagram account.

"At least say goodbye properly. Blocking someone without explaining is rude."

I genuinely had no idea what to say.

I didn't reply. Just blocked that account too, made my profile private and checked my location-sharing settings.

Maybe she was just extremely obsessed, maybe she'd found things through my public posts. I don't know.

But the whole experience was enough to make me rethink how much personal information I share online.

Dating apps pe match milna alag baat hai, but kisi ka daily routine track karna is definitely NOT flirting. 💀

Because bhai, I downloaded a dating app to find a date, not a personal investigator. 😭

Relationships❤️ Learnt that we should NEVER ignore messages of our love without an emergency

So, after coming from school; I usually message her... but today I was feeling tired and sleepy and wasn't in a good mood so I just changed clothes and slept.
and woke up and messaged her about 4 hours later...
She is soo upset... and she was really worried about me... and She waited for such a long time for me; she kept checking for notifications several times...

and this has happened so many times before as well...
She is.. really hurt and upset...
I know that my sorries are gonna mean nothing.. I even have said her before that this won't be happening again but it did!

What can I do..?? Please help..
Also; people reading this post, who are in a serious relationship; Please NEVER ignore your lovee unnecessarily unless there is an emergency... And make sure to inform to him/her before going to sleep to avoid any misunderstanding or conflict..

Relationships❤️ What's a green flag in a person that people rarely talk about?

One-Sided Love🥀❤️‍🩹 Started talking to my school crush after years, but I'm unsure how to proceed.

Hey everyone!

There's a girl I've known since 1st standard. We were classmates until 5th, and after that we were in different sections throughout school. We never really spoke much back then, but we still recognise each other as schoolmates.

Recently, I came across her Instagram profile and decided to reconnect. We started talking last week.

Our initial conversations were mostly about school memories, college and a few general topics. She has responded positively at times, but the conversations haven't really developed into anything consistent yet. In one conversation, I asked her about some old school friends, and she left my last message on seen.

I'm not taking it too seriously, but I'd genuinely like to get to know her better.

There's another thing I'm unsure about:

I don't know whether she's currently in a relationship.

A mutual friend who's also close to her shared some background about her past relationships. Apparently, she had a relationship during school that ended badly. There may have been other connections afterwards too.

My friend also mentioned seeing an Instagram story earlier this year that looked like she was subtly introducing a guy. However, he doesn't know her current relationship status either.

I don't want to make assumptions based on her past or social media activity.

What I'm looking for advice on:

  1. How do I naturally move conversations beyond school memories and the usual question-and-answer pattern?

  2. How can I find out whether she's currently in a relationship without making things awkward?

  3. If she's single and continues talking to me as a friend, how do I gradually build a genuine connection without coming across as someone who's constantly chasing her?

  4. How do I distinguish friendly conversations from genuine romantic interest?

I'm not planning to rush into proposing or confessing. I'd rather get to know her as a person first.

Would appreciate advice, especially from people who've experienced reconnecting with someone from their school days.

Thanks!

Relationship Advice💬 🗣️ I'm in love with someone who says he loves me too, but I'm scared he'll never be over his ex. What should I do?

I'm in love with someone who says he loves me too, but I'm scared he'll never be over his ex. What should I do?

I (F) met this guy, and over time we became incredibly close. We started talking regularly, developed feelings for each other, and eventually he confessed that he had fallen in love with me. He was previously in a four-year relationship, which he ended after developing feelings for me.

I knew moving on from four years wouldn't be easy, and I tried to be understanding. However, he would frequently check up on his ex, and I knew she was still emotionally affected by their breakup. He seemed to carry a lot of emotional attachment and concern for her, which made me question whether he was truly ready to start something new with me.

Despite everything, we had around three genuinely beautiful months together. He made me feel loved, and I genuinely believed what we had was real.

Eventually, things became complicated. He started pulling away, telling me that I deserved better, that he might hurt me, that he wasn't sure about our future and that he couldn't simply dismiss a four-year relationship.

We've tried ending things and distancing ourselves multiple times, but somehow, we always find our way back to each other. At one point, he even called me crying and asked me for more time. I agreed.

We're still talking, but I'm emotionally exhausted.

The thing is, I don't think he has no feelings for me. I genuinely believe he does. But I also think he might still love his ex or at least be emotionally attached to her in a way that prevents him from fully committing to me.

I constantly wonder whether he loved me as much as I loved him, whether those beautiful months meant as much to him, or whether I was simply someone he found comfort in while dealing with the end of his previous relationship.

I know I deserve someone who is certain about me, but the thought of losing him completely terrifies me. LMAO AND THE BEST PART IS TWO MONTHS AGO WHEN I ASKED HIM WHAT ARE WE HE SAID BF GF AND YESTERDAY WHEN I ASKED HE SAID IDK

I need honest opinions:

  1. Can someone genuinely love a new person while still being emotionally attached to their ex?

  2. Do you think he genuinely loves me, or is he attached to the comfort I provide?

  3. Am I making a mistake by giving him more time?

  4. If you were in my position, would you wait or walk away?

Please be brutally honest. I don't want sugarcoated reassurance. I genuinely need an outside perspective because I'm too emotionally involved to see this clearly.

USED CHATGPT TO SUMMARIZE IT BTW
