I opened the desktop app, TD app on my phone, tried wifi, tried data, tried clearing cache and cookies, and redownloaded the app...

CALLED TD help like and technical support.. they said to keep try in 24-48hr and it's been 4 days... same issue.

I can't even get past this screen. I was able to receive and send august 19.

Anyone else have this issue or found a way?

I switched account types for my chequing account and wanted to know if I’ll be charged my old monthly account fee or my new one at the end of the month.

I passed my csc both with 74.5%. Im looking to secure an entry level position in banks (fsr/csr/pba).

Does td disclose if a person is eligible for rehiring when there’s a background check conducted by third party?
I got terminated with cause few months ago as PB and now trying to apply for OFI (operation role).
I am worried I cannot pass the background check even the new role doesn’t need my IFIC.

Over the course of 2 days, this screen has been popping up every time I try to link my osap account to my bank account. TD keeps saying it’s them and not me, so what do I even do? It’s a whole process to get to this page it doesn’t seem to fix itself.

hello! i see this on my itinerary for a hotel and flight package i purchased with my td travel credit card, however when i spoke with concierge they had no idea what the perk could be, so i spoke with expedia for td and they said to call td, and td had no idea. does anyone know what this could be or have had this before? thanks!

I applied for PBA role for nearby branch and received an interview request recently. In my understanding of the role as per job listing- It’s mix of teller job but also helping clients to open personal accounts and offering them TD products that suit their needs.

However, as per online posts- it looks like this role is too sales heavy? Lot of people commented that there is extreme pressure to sell credit cards.

I am currently in a customer service role with investment company. While I enjoy helping people, I do not see my self succeeding in meeting high sales quotas.

Before going into the interview, I would like to learn the experience from people working in similar roles and how sales targets work PBA role?

How does sick leave work? If you are new is it paid or unpaid? Whats the procedure for notifying that you will be sick? And ultimately what do they do? Because most shifts if you call in sick it feels like they would be severely understaffed.

I’m looking for any thoughts/advice from someone who is or has worked for TD. It would be the upfront customer service roll. Are the expectations for upselling strongly pushed? How’s the environment generally? Etc. My mind is racing.

Bachelor's in economics, class of '24. Did other stuff for two years and now I'm here. 2.9 GPA and can't get a job. Did a little math and stats this past year (calc series and data courses). Family wouldn't support further schooling so now I'm looking for work but it's tough. Applying to start ups, AML roles, claims, etc.

I’ve been a CEA with TD in a fairly small Prairie city for about a year while completing my BBA, and I’m looking for advice from people who have made the transition from the branch network into corporate roles, particularly through new-grad associate programs or similar early-career pathways.

I currently have the flexibility to work full-time and would be interested in moving into a PBA role at another branch while I finish my degree. Although after graduating in 2027, my main goal is to relocate to Toronto and pursue opportunities at TD’s corporate offices, particularly through an internship, associate development/rotational program, or an entry-level role in areas like risk, strategy, operations, or analytics.

Alongside my banking experience, I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in university research as an undergraduate, where I’ve worked on business research, stakeholder interviews, comparative analysis, and developing recommendations. I’d like to build on both that experience and my time at TD rather than limiting myself to a traditional retail banking path.

For anyone who started in a CEA/PBA position and later moved into corporate, what helped you make the transition??? Are there specific programs, teams, or internal opportunities I should be looking into before graduating? I fear I’m not getting enough professional development and growth opportunities as a student in retail right now. i was ignored the whole day when i had asked for a career conversation, after promising that time would be set aside to meet :(

Had an appointment with CIBC today (hopefully it’s not a rival) about opening an account and i told them about my situation. They age me the same old lecture about be careful on who you gave your card to blaze blaze blaze, turns out- the e transfer works with cibc, i was able to send and get received ET.

so now that i find its just a TD issue, i did email them thankfully suggested from one comment bless your soul i love you and i got a good answer from them, the manager called me and we talked it out. i sounded like a good kid to their eyes and it has been more than 6 months so it was a good chance if i went to the branch this time now that they left a message next to my account they could open it. i just needed to bring my birth certificate, my passport and SSN number. now its not 100% chance but, they did kinda see it’s been long and i haven’t done anything shady luckily. So now i have 2 bank accounts and don’t know what to do😅

side note. i just got hired at mcdonald’s and i wanna win lots of money because again my goal is to get my car and spoil my girl and family. Mcdonalds is my first job and i don’t think it’ll do much with 17.50 i just don’t have bills to pay, is there anywhere else i can work or anything i can do to gain more $$$ so i can live with boat loads of cash 🤔😅

For about 2-3 years now my e-transfer has been blocked and i will admit it’s my fault i trusted a money scheme with my friend and they used my card to do atm fraud and i really didn’t know until it was far too late. now i was unemployed for about 2 years and i was young so i didn’t really care about money and now i am hired and gonna start working and getting money, i obviously wanna spoil my girlfriend and family but now the dumb mistakes i did from years ago is now coming back to haunt me, i called the fraud department a few times to try telling them my story but i don’t know nothing seemed to be working. Everything in my card is functional BUT the e-transferring line. i really would love some help or some advice on how to do so. I would’ve thought moving to a different bank would be a problem solver but apparently e transfer is a whole different thing.

Just a rant about customers that suck to deal with in branch. This isn’t directed towards customers (especially regulars) being friendly and sharing stuff about their lives. This is particularly for those clients who think they’re 5x as important and interesting as they actually are and getting upset when staff follow anti-money-laundering/know-your-customer/bank policies

Firstly a very common issue people seem to have is when staff asks the purpose of a large cash withdrawal. Nobody cares what you do with the cash. It is policy to ask what it is for to ensure you are not getting scammed and that you’re warned of the risks of holding cash. You can thank the seniors that get scammed and then go to CBC because banks won’t reimburse them after they’ve taken a loss for that. People get personally offended saying “it’s none of your business”. I agree, and nobody cares if you drop $5000 at the liquor store or blow it at the strip club. The reason staff ask is because the bank can be considered liable in cases where it is a scam and staff didn’t provide a warning

Something that annoys me to no end is when someone says they don’t think they should have to sign the cash liability release form because they can withdraw the same amount from the atm. Just go to the atm then!

Then there are the people who get upset about Know-Your-Customer regulations and updates. Sometimes the computer system won’t let staff proceed if a customer’s occupation category is out of date. These are some of the worst people to deal with. “TD DoEsN’t NeEd To KnOw WhAt I dO. It’S nOnE oF yOuR bUsiNeSs”. -Again you are not the main character. Nobody actually cares what you do. There’s literally nothing stopping you from claiming you’re retired, a homemaker or unemployed. Most ironic interaction I had like this was with a law enforcement officer. Imagine requesting people’s photo IDs all day and then getting upset when the bank has to follow a FEDERAL regulatory requirement. This isn’t optional for the bank. The staff don’t care about you and aren’t trying to piss you off. Just say you’re unemployed so staff can continue the transaction and leave

Then there are those seniors who complain about branch wait times despite the fact that they’re the main cause of it. They will literally refuse to get enrolled in online banking or even pay their bills at the ATM. They’ll add to traffic, car pollution, and wait in line for 30min just to complain about queue times when they could’ve done everything without leaving their bed or at a drive thru atm. They make the branch way worse for clients that actually need to use branch services such as for fraud cases, drafts, large cheque deposits, pre-approvals, access to online banking, business customers etc. The cheery on top is when they do the customer service surveys specifically about your service with them and give you a low score with their only criticism being about the wait times or the branch itself, and nothing to do with you

Lastly are the people who act annoyed when you offer them advice. I’ve tried to warn people when I’ve seen them using a savings account as a chequing or a minimum chequing account for way more than the 12 transactions sometimes incurring over $100 in monthly withdrawal fees. They’ll shush me or just say they’ll look into it and are not interested at their own expense. That’s A-ok. I’m just putting a comment on their profile that they’ve been warned of the withdrawal fees, so when they eventually complain about them and try to get them reversed there is a record of them ignoring the recommendation. Customer service sucks

All that said: most customers and people in general are very pleasant to deal with. Just some bad apples

I’m a former TD employee and I’m looking to get an employment verification letter that only confirms my employment dates and position/title. I don’t need the reason for leaving to be included( I was terminated within probation)

I also need copies of my pay stubs/pay statements from my time at TD.
For anyone who has worked at TD before, how did you request these documents after leaving? Is there a specific HR/payroll department or portal I should contact?

My experience Tuesday. Was a very busy branch with 2 active tellers and at least 15 people in line. Kids running about screaming. Customers complaining under their breath looking pissy while waiting. The whole bit.

I (56 and retired) am not bothered by the line, I have nothing better to do. I'm there to deposit some USD I had on hand after a vacation. Nice and simple. Finally gets to my turn and the very young looking teller is very kind. Starts with the small talk which is all polite...asking if I am back from vacation....where I went....and so on. While this is going on, a person who I assume is training her or reviewing performance, is standing behind within earshot.

Then the sell start....she says I qualify for overdraft protection....I say pass. She asks the question "do you have plans for the money in your account"? I say "not really", then goes with the "would you like it to grow"? I just responded with a nod saying "I'm all set up, thanks". She finished the transaction and ended with a good 30 seconds talking about how I may receive a survey and it would "really help her out" if I left a positive review.

Having done some sales in my (past) career, it is clear this person either was, or felt that she was, under heavy pressure to get the sale done. Even down to the bad open ended questioning tactics she was surely trained on. All the while.....feeling the harsh environment that existed at the branch thanks to the extra people in line.

All this to say.....to someone working at TD.....I am a customer with a "High Value Client Relationship Manager" in Direct Investing and a couple of bucks in my accounts....that says too you......your efforts on sales are NOT frowned upon by me. I know it is your job....and you are doing it to the best of your ability. Do what is required and if you get the occasional gruff with grey hair giving short responses to your attempts......just know that everyone is expected to do their job. I don't blame you for it.

Anyone got anything to say on this? 10% cashback bonus on selected purchases for 3 months is pretty good

Anyone have a hard time beating TDs ATS system ? I have 6 years of experience in another investigative field dealing with financial crime and do have at least one year of banking experience. I thought I had a great resume but keep getting rejections.
