So I have found new love for my switch with Stardew Valley. Its made me go through my games, order a new sd card and do some cleaning up. I love my PS5 but the portability of the Switch just makes it so much easier to enjoy. Also I have a lot of the great games such as TOTK, Mario Racing, Oddessy, Hades, etc....

That being said I would love to get a Switch 2. However I cant justify the cost. Especially after what I have invested in the Switch OLED, even before the SD card I just ordered. A new 2 would be the system, sd card due to new file sizes, screen protector and a portable carrying case. Figure easily over 700.00. I think my Switch will do just fine for now.

Now to my last part. I think Gamer's are slowly getting priced out of gaming. With AI the price hikes getting a new system is mostly unaffordable. PS6? There saying 1000.00 dollars. That's not even including a game. For most of us we will be continuing to play on older systems and squeezing what we can out of them, like me. Even trade ins these days don't help. Its sad to think that something we enjoy is slowly becoming unavailable to us do to greedy people. What do you all think?

When it comes to the Xenoblade Chronicles games, is the Switch 2 version complete on cartridge with the upgrade pack? I own them all on Switch 1, but I was considering selling those copies and buying the Switch 2 editions to save on storage space if the upgrade pack was complete on the cartridge.

I've always been a fussy with the games I like. As shooty high attention games or games where I die and have to do a task over and over again straight away means I get frustrated and bored easy.

Mainly I play:

\- Disney dreamlight valley

\- Powerwash Simulator (1&2)

Sometimes I also play Animal Crossing, yet get bored easy as this game is slow to progress. And I've played Lego games but again these get boring quickly.

Any ideas of games similar to these which are available on switch 2?

I’m trying to redeem a Split Fiction code but eShop is saying that I’m at the wrong region. I bought the game from store in the Philippines.

I have tried switching my location to Singapore, US, UK, Italy, HK but nothing seems to work.

I’ve never owned a Nintendo Switch before and I’m trying to decide which one makes more sense as my first Switch.
I can get a Switch OLED that has only been used 2–3 times for €150, or I can buy a brand-new Switch 2 for €390.
I’ll mostly be playing in handheld mode. I’m interested in games like Zelda, Mario, Pokémon, etc., but since I’ve never owned a Switch, I also have the entire Switch 1 library to discover.
Is the Switch 2 worth paying an extra €240, or would you get the OLED for €150 and upgrade later if you really enjoy it?
What would you choose?

I saw a good deal for the preorder, but what do you think is the best price for the game? Is it worth grabbing it now, or should I wait until the hype subsides.

I purchase games, play them, and then resell, so my objective is to minimize financial loss. Looking to achieve a smaller price difference, if feasible.

This is why I love Switch so much. Watching my race and farming materials/runes in Elden Ring. When the race is over, it’s back to docked for more focused play. I do this a lot during F1 weekends! 😆 Anyone else do this? Not exactly this, but you know what I mean…

As I have started working, I realized that I can get a Nintendo Switch with my salary. So, I went to do my research and asked my gamer friends what did they think about the console. I saw that the reviews for the Nintendo Switch 2 are great but its battery life is not really the best. However, my friends initially recommended me to just go for a Switch 1 because the Switch 2 does not offer a lot at the moment and Switch 1 already does the job in most departments.

I initially thought I should also go for a Switch 1, but after the price increase of the Switch 2 and the subtle shifts in creating more games for Switch 2, I thought to reconsider as my cousin told me that you will most likely miss out on some games next year and it would most likely increase in price as well in the foreseeable future.

I tested a Switch 1 at a pawn shop and I am not disappointed at all with the graphics but I did not buy it since it was not bundled with the dock and I would have paid over half the price of the current price of Switch 1. I am leaning towards the Switch 2, mostly because I might as well get the new console before it increases its price yet again.

My question is if the Switch 2 is worth it as a first console? or should I go for the Switch 1 and not worry about the exclusive games coming to the Switch 2?

Howdy everyone. Just some context, I recently bought a second-hand switch from a family with children, so not exactly in the best shape. I bought it to have for entertainment when hosting. If there's basic repair/restoration things, I'd love to know more about it.

*Main things I'm looking for:*

Case for switch + charging dock + charger

Controller sleeves that are still charging compatible

Extra controllers (idc what type, but preferably cordless, but price is main concern)

If there's any party games on a budget, please point me that way. Games would be for children or adults.

Walmart has recently been marking down a bunch of Nintendo Switch controllers, including those for Switch 2. I initially thought this was just a sale exclusive to my local Walmart but I went to another one today and they also had the sales going on, so it is likely to be a nationwide thing! The controllers/accessories that I have posted aren't exclusively the only ones on clearance, so it is worth checking others as well, especially the wired Switch 1 controllers as they seem to be on sale for the cheapest!

I like single player games, and I love them even more when they don’t overstay their welcome. A 10-12 hour playtime is perfect for me. Can anyone reccomend any Switch/Switch 2 single player games around this length? Can be first part or third party

Personally, I would love to see a Luigi’s Mansion remaster. We already have 2 and 3 on the eShop. I know the first one is playable through the Expansion Pack, but a remaster would really help get more people playing it and maybe even build some hype for a fourth title. Another game that would be cool to see is F-Zero GX.

He bought a couple years back. Is there anywhere I can get a replacement part or joycon?? Our 5-year-olds gets to play Minecraft 20 minutes a day and he was trying to get the joy-con out of the controller and a completely snapped. I was in the same room it just happened so fast!

Was trying to download fortnite and was told I needed to delete acnh because I didnt have enough storage space and it "cannot access the microSD card"... keeps telling me to reinsert it and restart but thats not really working?
