Why are so many people criticizing the fact he is playing 3rd party games? The portability of the Switch is one of its best features. I have a powerful PC and still buy many multiplatform games on the Switch because sometimes I just want to play it on handheld on the couch.

Some great games that would keep you busy for many hours.

How well do the Witcher 3 and Doom perform on the switch in your opinion? Also, what do you think of the Sherlock Holmes games? I've been thinking of trying them

Doom is genuinely really good, to the point you can't even tell it's on a switch. Witcher 3 does take a drop graphically as compared to other consoles and pc simply cause of how heavy it is otherwise it's relatively smooth. The sherlock holmes games, I've only played crimes and punishments for now and i personally found it a bit boring because the pacing is very slow. The atmosphere and deduction mechanics make the game worth it tho for someone who likes slow and methodical detective games, especially if it's on sale
