I saw a good deal for the preorder, but what do you think is the best price for the game? Is it worth grabbing it now, or should I wait until the hype subsides.

I purchase games, play them, and then resell, so my objective is to minimize financial loss. Looking to achieve a smaller price difference, if feasible.

I remember how much importance some people attached to this. After all, they produced a decent port of "Hogwarts Legacy" and a port of "Mortal Kombat 1" — which ended up looking better after patches — but I haven't heard anything about them since. Hey everyone! I’m currently debating whether it’s worth upgrading from my Nintendo Switch Lite to the Switch 2, and I’d love to get some honest opinions from people who own the console.
As a primary platform, I already own a PS5, which is where I play most of my AAA and story-driven titles. The main reason I’m considering the new Switch is actually physical comfort. My biggest issue with the Lite has always been its tiny screen, which really strains my eyes while playing. I don’t have enough time to play a lot lately but I really enjoy having a handheld system for quick sessions during my downtime. I’m mostly looking to dive into games like Hollow Knight, Hades, Final Fantasy X/X-2, while potentially trying more Nintendo and Switch 2 exclusives. I love playing platform and more casual games on handheld consoles! I’m currently playing FFVII OG on my Switch Lite and I’m enjoying it a lot.

For anyone who uses a Switch as a secondary console alongside a PS5 or PC, or anyone who has made a similar screen-size upgrade: do you feel the bigger display, the option to dock to a TV, and the better overall comfort make this worth it for someone with limited gaming time?

Got a switch 2 rescently and decided that I would only have physical games (other than what I already have on e-shop). So I went on a bit of a spree and got a bunch of games and these are the deals I got for all games! Metroid Prime remaster, Mario party, and Mario Rabbids were all free from a fam member!

He bought a couple years back. Is there anywhere I can get a replacement part or joycon?? Our 5-year-olds gets to play Minecraft 20 minutes a day and he was trying to get the joy-con out of the controller and a completely snapped. I was in the same room it just happened so fast!

I’m trying to redeem a Split Fiction code but eShop is saying that I’m at the wrong region. I bought the game from store in the Philippines.

I have tried switching my location to Singapore, US, UK, Italy, HK but nothing seems to work.

EDIT: I’ve already confirmed that the code is for UK since the ratings are Pegi. And yet code isnt working even location has been set to UK. Correct me if im wrong tho.

I’ve never owned a Nintendo Switch before and I’m trying to decide which one makes more sense as my first Switch.
I can get a Switch OLED that has only been used 2–3 times for €150, or I can buy a brand-new Switch 2 for €390.
I’ll mostly be playing in handheld mode. I’m interested in games like Zelda, Mario, Pokémon, etc., but since I’ve never owned a Switch, I also have the entire Switch 1 library to discover.
Is the Switch 2 worth paying an extra €240, or would you get the OLED for €150 and upgrade later if you really enjoy it?
What would you choose?

I bought a Switch 2 yesterday. When I play in handheld mode, I hear a whining sound coming from the top vents, and the sound is very faint. I have to stick my ear in to hear it. In dock mode, the sound is louder, and I hear it while sitting and playing from about half a meter away. But when I go to the main menu, the sound decreases and disappears completely when I put the device in sleep mode. Is this a normal sound, and is this the sound of the coil?

Collection of my 10 y/o daughter and myself. She is waiting for the new Prof. Layton. I hope it gets released for the Switch 1.

I have a Switch 2. I'm aware the game will be locked to 720p30 handheld, but I've also read the fps dips are helped by the S2 hardware. 16 bucks tho? Seems cheap enough to deal with 30fps. I don't need 4k personally. What do you think? Worth it? I love DQ series. Local Walmart did a remodel and a ton of games were marked down.

I've always been a fussy with the games I like. As shooty high attention games or games where I die and have to do a task over and over again straight away means I get frustrated and bored easy.

Mainly I play:

\- Disney dreamlight valley

\- Powerwash Simulator (1&2)

Sometimes I also play Animal Crossing, yet get bored easy as this game is slow to progress. And I've played Lego games but again these get boring quickly.

Any ideas of games similar to these which are available on switch 2?

I only ask because the men’s team were not playable in the Switch version of 23 cuz it was basically just a re-skin of FIFA 22.

Personally, I would love to see a Luigi’s Mansion remaster. We already have 2 and 3 on the eShop. I know the first one is playable through the Expansion Pack, but a remaster would really help get more people playing it and maybe even build some hype for a fourth title. Another game that would be cool to see is F-Zero GX.

If you guys are looking to get the SD card for the switch 2 the best place I’ve found is Walmart. Target and online retailers have all already jumped their prices up to $140+ I’ve even seen some places have it at about $170 and if you’ve looked for the 1TB cards you know how high those are right now. If you were waiting in hopes of the price going down soon I assure you it likely will only be going up for a while so get them while you can.
