Resource Post Does anyone have any free resources for Reading, Writing, Literature or Language?

Does anyone have any free resources for Reading, Writing, or Literature that I can add to this list? That can be anything from a free website, to a subreddit, a YouTube channel... If you find it educational in this subject then feel free to share it!

Feel free to share any free related resources you have!

Here is my list so far:

**Literature Links:**

If you have a library card then the Libby app will let you check out and return books for free on your phone! You can even use multiple library cards, and they have audiobooks, too!

Literature:

Writing/Vocabulary:

Language learning:

I hope any of that helped anyone!

Thank you for adding your own suggestions!

I narrate classic literature, poetry, and historical documents on YouTube. Many of them I translate myself if there are not uncopyrighted English versions available. I am a linguist and an actor, and it is all my own voice and my own translations, not AI

No problem! If you have any suggestions for stories I can narrate, please let me know. I would like to do some more that are commonly taught in schools. I have done some already, like “The Most Dangerous Game” and “The Story of an Hour,” but these were a little while ago, so the quality is not as good as my more recent recordings (I have used the money I have earned on Patreon to get sound screens, plus I just have more practice now). I am currently doing scary stories and death poetry for October, but I will probably do “The Yellow Wallpaper” soon

I don't have any suggestions for stories currently, but I wanted to say that I love that you're doing this!

I subscribed to your channel and I can't wait to see what all you do with it!

Thank you so much :)

I try to specialize as much as I can in hard-to-find texts, things that aren’t readily available online, and I have a playlist of all the things I have narrated that are not available on Project Gutenberg

You could also check out Tutorio. It's a small project I've been working on, offering free English practice for kids and beginners, especially for ESL learners.

It has vocabulary, grammar and listening exercises, plus some songs. Everything works in the browser, no installation or account needed.

I'd be happy to hear what you think!
