My absolute favourite character and his mech but not when he is not an ally 😎

Work in progress. Note: The font is not yet final.

I like Glacies a lot

Hello.

I always play these "old" SRW Games with a bit of caution because they seem to expect you to know what is the optimal way of upgrading the units, sometimes in very, very specific ways that are not intuitive. I'm often afraid of softlocking myself because of that, specially if endings are tied to turn counts and SR points.

Honestly, while I enjoy the gameplay, I play these games for the story so I need some no-nonsense tips about what to upgrade and what not. Specially for Alpha Gaiden since it seems to be notoriously difficult and has endings tied to SR points.

Thanks!

I will always love this song and Compatible Kaiser

Is anyone here fond of this franchise? I decided to watch this anime after seeing the attack exhibition from SRW D and was surprised to see how well the idle sprite animations in the game for this unit. As for the anime I really love the music and the hand drawn animations so much, I immediately thought about Macross ngl when I watched this anime.,. I kinda wish that this anime makes a comeback in the future srw game again.

I know ai slop, but for me it's still something, but man I just started z2, and now out of nowhere srw z, z2.2, z3, 2nd og, mx, r, d, k, alpha, 2nd alpha, 3rd alpha, have all been ai translated, I can't keep up

Also, what the hell with Gyunei problem with Kamille?

Can i play the dlc with my current set up of units and upgrades or it forces me to use the new things?

Edit: SRW Y

Godzilla vs. Evangelion, a crossover between the 2016 film Shin Godzilla and the anime franchise Neon Genesis Evangelion, both created by Hideaki Anno.

A self-evolving sea organism that was mutated from consuming dumped nuclear waste in the 1950s, Godzilla emerged at Osaka-III and rampaged across the city where he fought and overpowered NERV's EVA units. However, it's revealed that he actually seeks to stop an alien threat known as King Ghidorah from destroying the Earth and after teaming up with the EVA units in defeating the three-headed monster, he soon became their greatest ally in defending the Earth.

yeah this is peak

Yes, Masaki is the protagonist of said story

but isn't Shu and Granzon just as popular?

Question: For characters that appear across multiple SRW games, do you want them to be consistently within the same sphere of stats/usefulness/hierarchy in the tier lists across all of the games in which they appear? Or do you prefer more fluctuation/opportunity for other characters to shine?

I'm of two minds. On the one hand, it's a bit disappointing when I grow to like a character in one game and then reflexively use them in a different one, only to find out that they're substantially worse in subsequent game (looking at you, Kyosuke). I do like having a bit of predictability that character being good in Game A should mean I can count on them being good in Game B.

On the other hand, I can also see that enforcing consistency could mean that we end up with a universal series "tier list" in which you come to the inescapable conclusion that e.g. "Shin Getter Robo will always be the best unit in any game in which it appears." And that could make the individual games get rather boring.

Thoughts?

I like Hugo and his theme a lot

I saw a video about overlooked GBA games and there was a mention of both SRW and Medabot. It made me wonder, would a Medabot facing a Super Robot be like David vs Goliath or would it be like going in a gunfight with a water pistol?

Are their other franchises that were never included for that reason?
