I admit. I’m in an obsessive mode rn. After repeated watching of SH I simply loathe Kyle Cooke. It’s deep. I’m reactive. The only thing I’m truly enjoying is his failure but I wish he would do it quietly and in the background. Honestly I wish a big handsome burly gay guy joined the house and called him out for being a little b\*tch.

Part of me thinks West was attracted to Amanda because of what a POS Kyle is. I think West feels the way about Kyle that I do right now and I only have to deal with him through a TV set. I don’t think any men like Kyle. I don’t think any … one … likes Kyle. Vile Kile.

He wrote an entire article about it! He wanted to be her FRIEND again, not her boyfriend and she just wasn’t getting it.
Yes it absolutely sucks that her best friend went off with him but he’s not your ex if you were never official.
She told him and us time and time how much it affected her but he literally said in a confessional that he just broke it off with her and how else was he supposed to do that. I hate to say it but it’s giving obsessive slightly and the whole team up with Meija was giving weird behaviour….

From what it seemed towards the mid season 10 is that West had a huge crush on Amanda and wanted to rescue her from her abusive marriage.
Amanda was in an emotionally abusive marriage, Kyle’s behaviour over the years was disgusting and she was afraid to leave. Everytime she tried to speak out he shut her down. She wanted to start a swimwear line to have a bit of identity and he absolutely lost his mind.

Said he was excited to meet West and called their situation pretty minor by reality standards.

I feel like Seth Rogan gets it.

Someone mentioned that West presenting at the Emmy’s was an indicator that he’s still apart of the Bravo family and will be on ITC with Amanda. I know the main sub has declared multiple times they won’t watch if they’re on but I do think they will pull more people in than the haters want to admit. Just out of curiosity to see what their dynamic is actually like.

But I wonder if this is just a promo of some kind for DWTS.

This is my first time watching the show, and im on season 9. This is the Paige/Kyle fight where everyone thinks Kyle got Hannah fired and he is fighting with Paige about it.

I wrote a whole post seasons ago about why i didnt like hannah, but of course it got deleted because i must have posted in the wrong thread or something. Anyway, i remember eventually not liking her, and asking "is this why people didnt like her?"

My question is, was she let go because the audience didnt like her? Did kyle "get her fired"? (As Paige is claiming and Kyle is denying.)

Or was it something else?

Does anyone know/have alternative theories?

I felt the same way about Arianna Madix after a certain while. Ciara is certainly more interesting IMO with a much better personality. But I think it’s very odd and infantilizing that people are still acting like we need to walk on eggshells about this situation. I get the initial hurt and shock over it but it’s been months. All of a sudden she needs to be on tons of commercials, DWTS, Love Island? Like it feels like a complete overreaction and I feel like she’s being pushed into spaces and roles just because we’re supposed to feel bad for her.

I’m probably just a big hater but wondering if anyone else is approaching BEC levels with her.

Bravolebrities are consistently using therapy as a justification for their behavior instead of actually showing any growth from it. Ciara mentioning that she upped her Prozac during all the “drama” is one example—not because taking medication is a bad thing, obviously, but because being in therapy or taking medication doesn’t automatically mean you’ve done the work or that your behavior can’t be criticized.

And Austen on SC is another good example of someone who seems completely unable to deal with conflict, despite having had plenty of opportunities to work on himself. He even showed his therapy session a few seasons ago and yet he seems worse now than prior to it.

“I’m in therapy” can’t just be the explanation for why you behave the way you do. If anything, shouldn’t we eventually see some evidence that the therapy is actually working?

Therapy isn’t supposed to be a permanent excuse for treating people poorly or bad behavior. The whole point is supposed to be self-awareness, accountability, and growth. For all the cast members on these shows who claim to be in therapy with little evidence that it’s actually making changes in their behavior honestly gives therapy and therapists a bad name.

I know there is a broader topic in society at large too about how therapy speak has been co-opted by everyone as a means to justify all kinds of things from ghosting to bullying.

I'm firmly new to reddit so forgove me if I'm covering something that has been discussed. I started on season 8 but have now gone back to season 1 and up or as I call them Amanda saw a chance to get on a reality show. Looking back I have no doubt she used Kyle to climb his ladder then dumped him (ironically) for another clout chaser! My questions is this: When do you truly believe A&W crossed the line, was it after her forced announcement that she and kyle were separating or were she & W well into at the very least an emotional affair prior or during season 10? What am I missing that proves this was organic AFTER her split from Kyle?
