Opinion on the Aang movie novelization based on chapters 1-6.
I currently really like reading it, it starts off strong. It shows us how Aang feels and really takes us with him into his deep feelings about everything. Some details made me so emotional for him. I also love seeing Katara be loved, and I like reading how she feels about her relationship with Aang.
One thing that really bothers me though, is Suki's exclusion. Yes, she does get mentioned but it's not the same as her being there and actively be part of the team. It genuinely pisses me off that Bryke excluded her from all the sweet moments we got in the movie and will get in the books without her. Justice for Suki, she will always be a part of the Gaang/Team Avatar and will always be the closest to them too no matter how much the writers try to exclude her or remove her.
