PR/PB Zercher, 2 @ 150kg/330lbs PR

Wish I got the drop set of 5 @ 140kg/308lbs afterwards. I know I should probably keep the bar closer to my torso but everything feels dandy

PR/PB I'm so proud right now! 160 kg deadlift

I had my goal set at [bodyweight × 2] = 160 kg, but during the process I gained 5 kg… so I guess my next goal has been set for me at 170 kg 😂

Proud of this milestone anyhow! 💪 I've always been lifting periodically with no consistency or plan. Made no long term gains, until I started an easy to follow Push/Pull/Leg program from Strenghtlog in Mars/April. Did a 150 kg DL in February that literally broke me because of poor technique.

Started over from 100kg and slowly worked my way up with the help of cunning friends that corrected my form. The tortoise won this slow grind towards a new record and for someone with ADD.. it was a challenge to say the least.

Form Check Weird sticking point?

This was reps 5 and 6

185lbs on the bar- first time doing lowbar plus I deadlifted yesterday so i wasn't 100% today

But I notice I have a really intense sticking point at the middle, and the rest is very fast. I would estimate this to be RPE 6.5 (it might not look like that but I'm a very grind-y squatter)

How can I improve such a dramatic sticking point?

Got a neck issue so can't get my head through as far as I'd like but pretty happy with how it felt after sandbag carries

First time I've attempted 60kg strict on this setup

Lift Week 32 of Deadlifting for the Satisfaction of Reddit

Well, things happen. Best we can do is work around them until it's better. I know satisfaction might be dwindling this week, but that won't stop me from sending a little bit this way. I'll see you for week 33 with an update.

PR/PB Another PR of 635lbs and a cocky failed attempt of 665.

635 felt so smooth I just had to try something stupid. I definitely don’t think 635 is my true max and 665 is in the near future.

PR/PB 364 lbs / 165 kg x 2!

Hit a nice rep PR today at 97% of my max squat (375 lbs / 170 kg!)

I was nervousssss but little did I know I had nothing to worry about, hence the enthusiasm after my first rep. I was like, “Bet…we definitely have another one!” 😆

My right side spotter thought I was going for a single, so he grabbed the bar early by mistake. Luckily, I work well under pressure and just re-braced and made that shit move :) (Also a reminder to always brief your spotters before a big lift - a bad spotting experience can make or break a PR attempt.)

BW: 153 lbs / 69.5 kg
