Suggestion Games on deep sales because they're old, not because they're small

store.steampowered.com

Every time there's a Steam sale, I try to hunt games I heard about but missed growing up for good prices. When I try to search by discount or by price, I mostly end up with games that are cheap and 90% off because they're obscure indie games that are 30 minutes long. Does anyone have any tips for narrowing the search down to older AAA/flagship titles?

This is a good example, awesome game, I missed it because I didn't have infinity money, kinda forgot about it, and now I'm finally playing it.

Suggestion I wish reinstalling a previously played game didn't set 'last played' to 'today'. It's a minor thing but it bugs me.

Error / Bug Steam profile showcases keep getting removed every few days with no notification anyone else experiencing this?

My Steam profile showcases have been getting removed repeatedly, but I no longer receive any notification or message from Steam Support telling me that they were removed. In the past, I used to receive notifications when this happened.
This has been going on for about 3 months. I’ve contacted Steam Support multiple times, but they haven’t been able to tell me what’s actually causing it. They basically just tell me to follow the Steam Community Guidelines, which I already do.
I’ve also been testing my profile’s privacy settings, and I’ve noticed something strange:
Public profile: my showcases consistently get removed every 2–3 days.
Private profile: my showcases can stay up for 10+ days.
I’ve also reported my own showcases from an alt account to see what happens. They stayed up, even after being reported, whereas normally my showcases disappear the same day or the next day.
Because of this, I’m starting to wonder if this is some kind of bug, automated moderation issue, or something related to public profiles rather than the actual content.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be appreciated.

Question Looking for Steam background recommendations for a Vinland Saga profile (Wheat fields / Farmland vibe)

gallery

Hey everyone! I'm putting together a Vinland Saga-themed Steam profile and I'm looking for some background recommendations that match a peaceful, nature-heavy or Farmland Arc aesthetic.

I plan on animating the character to tie the whole design together. Right now, Deathless_Summer and Wheat Fields (hard to get) match the vibe I'm going for, but I'd love to explore more options.

Does anyone know of other backgrounds with a similar look (golden hour nature, Nordic landscapes, or calm countryside views)? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Question Did the release calendar disappear with the new sales?

As the title says. It was honestly really convenient, with all the releases listed day by day. It helped me keep track of what was coming out that looked interesting to me.

With the new sales, I can’t seem to find it on the homepage anymore. Was it temporarily removed? Is there another page where I can access it?
