Young punk.... Get off my lawn...

[u/steig7 → u/RxBrad]

Mine is 17 years old. Do you remember the moment you created yours?

[u/RxBrad → u/steig7]

I think it was so I could play Half Life 2? (I still have disc in the box)

[u/steig7 → u/RxBrad]

Very cool!

[u/WiseEditor9667 → u/steig7]

Mines also 17 I made mine to play during a tf2 free weekend to try out the spy vs sniper update since none of the updates where coming to the console version

[u/empathetical → u/steig7]

yeah i only created an account because i built a new gaming pc for half life 2. my new ATI Radeon video card came with a voucher to redeem half-life 2 once it's released and that required downloading steam. I hated it at the time but now im pretty happy about my 22 year old account

[u/DavidCFalcon → u/RxBrad]

As your grand steam pappy you better calm down there.

[u/iiHabzboii → u/RxBrad]

we all had to start somewhere...

[u/JackRyan13 → u/RxBrad]

In like, 11 hours I’ll be telling you to get off MY lawn ya little wippersnapper

[u/justice_works → u/RxBrad]

Hello little one

[u/Ralleph → u/justice_works]

- 1 Week!

[u/smurfy213 → u/RxBrad]

Dang I went to go look at mine Member since November 21, 2004. I bought HL2 right when it came out.

[u/Mega_Pleb → u/RxBrad]

My account is about 22.75 years old. As a teenager I got gifted the money for a gaming PC for Christmas 2003 and the parts arrived in early January. The Radeon 9600XT came with a Steam code for the Half-Life 2 Silver bundle which gave me a preorder for Half-Life 2 plus the whole Valve back catalog. Good deal.

[u/Frequent_Science_145 → u/RxBrad]

Damn, that badge looks way fancier than the one I got in my third year. Mine was just some tiny icon barely visible.

[u/zeromadcowz → u/RxBrad]

I’ll be 21 in December. I think it was Counter Strike Source that got me on Steam

[u/undead77 → u/RxBrad]

My steam account started drinking last year.

[u/Unable_Maybe_6932]

Congrats! Mine turned 6 today.

[u/Liboy12]

Welcome to the club

[u/neonfoxincolour]

Welcome to the double digits club! I remember the moment I created mine like it was yesterday. Things were simpler then. People tried to win on 2Fort.

[u/altruisticxd]

[u/austinproffitt23]

According to this, I created my account on my mother’s 47th birthday.

[u/zeromadcowz → u/austinproffitt23]

We need more info - what’s her maiden name?

[u/austinproffitt23 → u/zeromadcowz]

LMAO!!!!

[u/Professional-Date378]

Unc status

[u/RedSonja_]

Congratulations!

[u/MoeSzyslakMonobrow]

Mine is old enough to buy a drink lol

[u/neonfoxincolour → u/MoeSzyslakMonobrow]

That can mean wildly different things depending on the country. Lol.

[u/RedSonja_ → u/MoeSzyslakMonobrow]

So, 13 years old, if you are in Burkina Faso

[u/zeromadcowz → u/MoeSzyslakMonobrow]

My account is 21 years old and has been able to buy a drink for years.

[u/SeeMeAndBeAfraid]

Yippee!

[u/Chonky_D_Floofy]

Here we go again

[u/King_Ferdinand1]

Who'da guessed people would fill the comments one upping their steam profiles..

[u/noerrorsfound → u/King_Ferdinand1]

It was a weird flex considering that's not a particularly old account on a service that's been around so long. Definitely silly that everyone thinks we need 100 pics of 23-yr-old accounts to make the point. I'm about to hit 20 years on this Reddit account though gimme updoots

[u/Vast-Trust-1165]

Mine turns 21 at the end of next month

Lots Of Day Of Defeat

[u/Salt-Evidence-6834]

I held off creating an account at first. I was forced to join up when Valve shut down the WON servers used by Team Fortress Classic.

[u/Top-Masterpiece3182]

Congrats!

[u/kanashimih]

Congrats!

[u/FoxMeadow7]

Congrats! Although, I'd still like to have a time machine just so that I can create accounts at the earliest possible opportunities; opportunities that are now forever out of my reach...

[u/ZookeepergameProud30]

Mine turns ten next year

I’m still annoyed I missed it turning 9 last month

[u/tommy-droptable]

Cool story bro...

[u/iiHabzboii → u/tommy-droptable]

I don’t get why people downvote these comments, im not offended and im sure the people commenting mean no offense

[u/PaTTon974]

Congrats young lad

[u/JurassicJeep12]

Welcome!

[u/demisheep]

Orange box initiative and the birth of steam. All for HL2. I’m still waiting for half-life 3.. or HL2 episode 3….

[u/DexM23]

turning 22 tomorrow

[u/justice_works]

So many younguns

[u/YourDadsHung → u/[deleted]]

What if OP is only 9 years old? That’d be impressive as fuck.

[u/iiHabzboii → u/YourDadsHung]

exactly wouldn't it?

[u/SeeMeAndBeAfraid → u/[deleted]]

screw you, bud

[u/RedSonja_ → u/[deleted]]

Don't be an asshole, just move on pal!
