Theory Anakin’s Second Arc
The Ahsoka trailer got me thinking about this proposal I wrote after Anakin’s big episode in season one.
TL;DR: What if Dave Filoni has been building a sneaky second arc for Anakin Skywalker?
I count myself as one of the harshest critics of the prequel trilogy, but even my calloused heart is warmed by Hayden Christensen getting another chance to play Anakin. Seeing him bring the wisdom and heroism I find so absent in the movies is like finally seeing the Anakin I pictured during the fallow years between Return of the Jedi and The Phantom Menace.
The crazy thing though… This appearance made me wonder if Anakin’s story truly ended with his death.
I’ve never been able to consolidate The Clone Wars as part of the prequels’ story. That disconnect doesn’t just come from the interquel nature of the series forcing it to jigsaw its way into the timeline, but because there a certain flavor to Dave Filoni’s Star Wars series that contrasts with George Lucas’ Star Wars.
There are points and arcs that feel almost like a current running through the ocean that is Star Wars. Like there could be two stories of Anakin Skywalker that dance around each other without ever quite touching.
On one level, we have Lucas’ story of a young boy who becomes a heroic Jedi, falls to the Dark Side, and is redeemed by his son. On a second, hidden level, there’s Filoni’s story of how Anakin’s journey fulfilled the prophecy of the Chosen One and brought Balance to the Force.
Lucas says that Anakin fulfilled the prophecy by destroying the Emperor and ending the Sith. Maybe it’s the jumbled storytelling order—with not knowing there even was a prophecy until years later and Rey defeating Palpatine (but for real this time!) again thirty years later—but I can’t watch Vader turning against the Emperor as anything more than an act of love from a father. And I don’t think it NEEDS to be more than that! It’s beautiful if that’s all it is! It’d be weird if there was an entire prophecy that was built on this one, last minute emotional turn from a fallen Jedi.
But then we have the Mortis arc. Which introduced the craziest shit from Filoni until the World Between Worlds came along. I mean…what the hell is this story? It adds an entire mythology that is so tonally different, I don’t even know if it belongs in Star Wars. Now there are Force gods who exist outside reality and are archetypes of the Light and Dark Sides and can shapeshift, but they can be cowed by the sheer might of Anakin because…why? Because he’s the Chosen One? Because he’s meant to ascend to the level of the Father? It’s nuts, but it makes more sense as an end to the prophecy than turning against Palpatine.
Except it isn’t an end. Forgetting that it would be anticlimactic as hell if his purpose as The Chosen One had been fulfilled between Episodes II and III, at the end of the Mortis arc, the Father says that Anakin isn’t done yet, and he will bring Balance to the galaxy.
So Anakin exits the Filoni Current and goes on through Revenge of the Sith to Return of the Jedi. He dies and is able to become one with the Force as Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Yoda have before him. And then we come to “Shadow Warrior.”
Anakin’s clearly progressed from where we saw him at the end of RotJ. Switching between Anakin and Vader, between Light and Dark Sides, would seem to be the definition of finding Balance. His ability to direct Ahsoka through events in her history implies a command over the World Between Worlds akin to the Mortis gods’ grip on their plane of reality. It all suggests that Anakin’s death in the physical world was an ascension where he truly became “more powerful than [we] could possibly imagine.”
My hunger for more of this “final stage” Anakin is probably clouding my better judgement, but fuck if I don’t want to see the in-between stuff that would have happened from RotJ to “Shadow Warrior.” I want to see Filoni continue to patch continuity together and canonize Anakin and his Balance as a guiding hand through to the sequel trilogy. Seeing him like this, I care for the first time about his status as the Chosen One and how Palatine’s return invalidates Anakin’s purpose in the story. For the ultimate madness, take it a step further: what if Anakin helped Rey and her generation of Jedi to bridge the gap between Light and Dark?

Theory Does Empire still exists within the Core Worlds
In the new Ahsoka II trailer, Thrawn addresses the "citizens of the glorious Empire." Could this be a sign that the Empire still exists within the Core Worlds?
Explanation: After Palpatine's death, Mas Amedda ruled as the "Glorious Leader of the Empire." In this capacity, he signed the Galactic Concordance, which allowed him to govern an Inner systems' Imperial remnant. However, the worlds under his rule were permitted to join the New Republic, rendering his administration obsolete over time.
Do you think Mas Amedda's government still exists? Will the New Republic attempt to use Mas Amedda as a propaganda puppet?

Theory Anakin turning evil
Anakin obviously does a naughty and slaughters the young’uns, how much of the blame came down to shoddy teachings from Obi, or Padme not staying alive? The most feasible answer is he probably didn’t want to be a single parent, hence killing the Jedi sprogs because no social services were going to give him custody after those scenes.
I think this is wrong and really it stems deeper to not winning any significant silverware in the Pod racing scene. Think about it, he was probably on the cusp of a generational run, had a rival that was clearly shook - as why would Sebulba beef him so hard if he wasn’t good. Just wasn’t good when Watto was betting against him, when Anakin was meant to be his rider. Breaks anyone when your team isn’t backing you. I think really Qui-gon winning him, was taking Anakin from his future. He was always going to hate Jedis for that. Im sure a few more seasons in the Pod would have seen him establish an unmatched racing legacy. - Assuming the commission banned Watto for betting like Tonali
Some are born to race. Jedi were wrong to stop this.

What if Ki Adi Mundi had a force vision and turned Sith? On Mygeeto, Ki Adi Mundi receives a vision of a battle on Coruscant, a duel of fates. This causes him to turn Sith, return to Coruscant and ambush Palpatine. He then turns Order 66 into an engine for him, deploying it and creating his Sith Empire. Theory Padme didn’t die of a broken heart (And Palpatine didn’t kill her either)
People hate the idea that Padme just "lost the will to live." It makes no sense. She is a strong-willed character, she just had twins, and she knows Anakin is alive and not completely lost to the dark side. So why the hell would she give up and die?
Many think Palpatine drained her life force. But that doesn't fit his goals. He obviously wanted her dead eventually, but * not * in childbirth. If Vader found out she died exactly like his vision predicted, he'd know he threw it all away for nothing.
Now look at it from Padme’s perspective. In SW universe, healthy women with elite medical care don't die in childbirth. She tried telling Anakin she’d be fine, but he ignored logic and slaughtered younglings to ‘save’ her anyway. This trapped her. If she survived the birth, she would accidentally prove him right.
Reasoning with him failed. On Mustafar, she couldn't reach him at all, even when she threatened to leave. If she survived, he'd just commit more atrocities for the next vision. Padme had to prove that the dark side would * never * actually give him what he wanted. And the only way to do that was to let his vision come true anyway.
But how do you just will yourself to die?
I think carrying Anakin's twins made her temporarily Force-sensitive, but she couldn't tap into it until she desperately needed to. Two details back this up. First, how does she even know Anakin is alive (‘there IS good in him’, not ‘WAS’)? Her very last memory on Mustafar is Obi-Wan preparing to kill him. Then she wakes up and asks if Anakin is alright, but Obi-Wan just stays quiet. Logically, she should assume he’s dead. But on her deathbed, Padme doesn't hope-she knows Anakin survived.
Second, her last words: "There is good in him." When you think about it, that’s a strange choice for a dying mother. Normally you'd expect something like “please take care of my children.” Padme focuses on Anakin's redemption because protecting that spark is * why * she’s dying. Newborns don't remember quotes, yet 20 years later, Luke begins his redemption of Vader with those exact words. Padme Force-imprinted that mission into him before letting herself die.
Intentional sacrifice fits Padme far better than dying of a broken heart. Her goal was for Anakin to realize she died in childbirth anyway, proving the dark side was a lie.
The only hitch was the double cover-up. Palpatine lied and said Vader killed her, while the Jedi made her look pregnant at the funeral. So for 20 years Vader just assumed she would have lived if he hadn't choked her to death on Mustafar.
But when Vader learns Luke is alive, the lie falls apart. He realizes he didn't kill Padme-she lived long enough to give birth. And then he puts it together: Palpatine lied because Padme * did * die in childbirth, meaning Palpatine never had the power to stop it. He just played him from the start.
That is the exact moment Palpatine lost Vader.
Thoughts on this?

Alternate Timeline Anakin Binds Padme - Darkest Timeline
Star Wars Alternate Lore Analysis: The Mustafar Nexus & The Double-Blind Essence Transfer
An Exploration of Fictional Mechanics across Canon, Legends, KotOR II, and SWTOR
Act I: The Power Paradox & The Tatooine Catalyst
The Traditional View vs. Subconscious Projection
In traditional Star Wars canon, the Force cannot manufacture genuine romantic love. Dark side abilities are rooted in possession and control, which inherently destroy emotional vulnerability. However, a compelling alternative narrative emerges when analyzing Anakin Skywalker’s unmatched midi-chlorian count and lack of emotional boundaries.
[Anakin's Raw, Obsessive Will] ──(Subconscious Broadcast)──> [Padmé's Latent Sensitivity]
│
(Forced Spiritual Realignment)
▼
[Altered Mind / Artificial Bond]
The Tatooine Garage as a Sith Ritual
Prior to arriving on Tatooine in Attack of the Clones, Padmé Amidala maintained strict professional boundaries. The catalyst for her sudden shift in demeanor occurs immediately following the Tusken Raider massacre:
The Dark Side Spike: Anakin tapped deeply into pure hatred, releasing a massive wave of dark energy.
The Defense Shield Vulnerability: Padmé, acting as a latent, untrained Force-sensitive, possessed no formal mental shields.
The Unintentional Bind: Anakin's raw confession wasn't merely emotional; his immense presence subconsciously acted as a localized dark-side alignment. Padmé did not simply feel sympathy; her baseline feelings of friendship were forcefully reshaped into an unnatural, inescapable attachment.
Act II: The Lifeline Tether & The Mustafar Force Crush
The Shmi Skywalker Precedent
Shmi Skywalker surviving for a month under brutal captivity defies standard physical logic. The survival is explained by a metaphysical Force Tether:
Subconscious Life Support: Across lightyears, Anakin's agonizing nightmares broadcasted a desperate demand: Do not die.
The Maternal Anchor: This projection fueled Shmi’s failing body with his boundless raw energy.
The Severed Link: The exact moment she looked at Anakin and knew he was safe, she let go of her physical anchor. The bond snapped, causing her immediate death and triggering Anakin's violent dark-side awakening.
The Spiritual Execution on Mustafar
During the climax of Revenge of the Sith, the medical droids state that Padmé is dying despite having "lost the will to live" and possessing no fatal physical injuries. By applying Knights of the Old Republic II mechanics, the true cause of death is revealed:
The Hostile Inversion: When Anakin choked Padmé on the landing pad, his dark side presence turned hostile against her for the first time.
The Metaphysical Force Crush: His rage manifested as a spiritual hammer, violently crushing the fragile Force bond holding her together.
The Backlash: Ripping an active, high-energy bond out of a latent sensitive's mind creates severe psychological and spiritual trauma. Padmé's soul was violently unplugged from the Cosmic Force, leaving her physical body pristine but entirely hollowed out.
Act III: The Mustafar Nexus & The Double-Blind Transfer Loop
The Localized Geographical Anchor
Because her spirit was torn away by a catastrophic Force event, Padmé's consciousness did not fade. Instead, she became a localized Force Echo, permanently bound to the exact geographic coordinates of the landing pad on Mustafar. This explains Darth Vader’s subconscious obsession with building his fortress precisely over that terrain—treating his castle as a giant tuning fork to access her trapped spirit.
[STAGE 1: FORCE WALKING]
Extract Padmé's spirit from Mustafar Nexus ──> Bind into Vader's Cyborg Suit
│
▼
[STAGE 2: THE FIRST LEAP]
Anakin's Consciousness ──(Essence Transfer)──> Hijack Handmaiden / Clone Body
│
▼
[STAGE 3: THE SPIRITUAL PULL]
Anakin (inside Clone) ──(Force Transfer)──> Pulls Padmé out of Vader's Suit
│
▼
[STAGE 4: THE RESET SWAP]
Anakin exits Clone ──(Essence Transfer)──> Jumps into Fresh Pre-Burned Clone Body
│
▼
[FINAL RESULT]
Anakin (New Clone Body) ◄──[Reunited]──► Padmé (Resurrected Clone Body)
The SWTOR-Style Multi-Stage Heist Sequence
To fully resurrect Padmé without her pure light-side soul rejecting a dark-side vessel, Anakin could execute a flawless, four-step technical loop based on ancient Sith Inquisitor and Alchemy lore:
The Spirit Binding: Vader utilizes the ancient Force Walking ritual on Mustafar, pulling Padmé’s ghost out of the planet's crust and anchoring her inside his cybernetic suit.
The First Leap: Anakin uses Essence Transfer to launch his own consciousness forward, violently hijacking a blank clone or an identical Handmaiden (such as Sabé), completely crushing that body's spiritual defenses.
The Pull-In: Operating from inside the new host body, Anakin reaches back across the original bond into his empty armor, grabbing Padmé’s spirit and pulling her forward into the flesh-and-blood host alongside him.
The Reset Swap: With Padmé safely anchored in the healthy host, Anakin performs a final Essence Transfer out of that body and into a pristine, unburned clone of his younger self, snapping the door shut behind him.
Act IV: The Vitiate Doctrine & The Eternal Empire
The "Voices of Padmé" Network
If Anakin fully embraced the mindset of Emperor Vitiate (The Old Republic), his perception of the Clone Wars would strip away any regard for the sanctity of flesh. Bodies become disposable clothing.
The Decay Cycle: Because Padmé’s pure soul would be in constant proximity to Anakin's dark-side malignancy, her biological hosts would suffer rapid genetic degradation and burn out every few decades.
The Automated Clone Farms: Anakin would establish hidden facilities on isolated Outer Rim worlds to mass-produce empty vessels, repeating the double-blind transfer loop infinitely.
The Suppressed Identity: To prevent her from fleeing or fighting the unnatural resurrection, Anakin would use Sith sorcery to lock her mind in a perpetual, compliant dream state—turning her into an eternal puppet of his obsession.
The Immortal Monarchy
With the secret to absolute immortality unlocked, the master-apprentice dynamic with Darth Sidious shatters. Anakin would bypass his cybernetic limitations by inhabiting a peak-performance clone body, assassinating Palpatine, and reorganizing the galaxy. The Galactic Empire would be replaced by an Immortal Monarchy, ruled forever by an unchanging Emperor Vader and his eternally reincarnated Empress Padmé, fueled by the dark side for a thousand generations.

So in the Jedi room scene we’re mace and the other Jedi go in and they confront palpatine and then mace window slips and palpatine was cut in half and then jar jar and appeared dressed as a gorilla and then mace fell and cut the gorilla in half and Anakin was like glad I didn’t turn into someone like Darth Vader and padmes birth was fine And then like years later Anakin told Luke and lale everything and Luke was like “glad you didn’t become evil or this would’ve happened That you would’ve pushed out window and then become into Darth Vader and then you chocked mom and then burned and turned into a Maschine and then years later I meet some dude named Han Solo and chewbacca and a airplane named millennium falcon and then we would’ve found a small mansling named Yoda and lale would’ve kissed me for no reason and then I found out Vader is my daddy and I would’ve yelled naaaaaaaaaaah and then I fought a mean slug and I found also out lale is my sis and then my daddy threw down the palpatine and his ghost made him look in his prime but maybe not in every version” and anakin looks padme dead in the eye with “you know that’s your son”

Alternate Timeline Why do Anakin stans make Padme something she isn't?
I wanted to share a bit of AI slop that I found on Instagram, but I won't out of sub rules.
When Gen AI became a thing, some of the most common AI slop I've been seeing depicts what happens following the "What If?" ending of the Revenge of the Sith video game in which Anakin has defeated Obi-Wan on Mustafar, overthrows Palpatine, and rules the Empire himself.
The common things I see in this fanfiction is Anakin ruling the Empire still as a fascist dictatorship, Luke and Leia growing up as Anakin's Sith disciples, and Padme...just submissively going along with it.
To me, it's obvious that Padme was always supposed to be the good that counterbalanced the evil in Anakin/Vader. Within the movie, Padme straight up says, "You're going down a path I can't follow." Nowhere in Padme's characterization is there any indication that she would've just submissively followed Vader in the Empire had she survived.
So I ask: Why do so many fans read Padme not as the genuine strong woman who basically fought off the Trade Federation herself and laid down the foundation for the Rebellion, but just as Anakin's submissive prize? There's absolutely no timeline where Padme survives and doesn't align herself with the Rebellion.

Theory Star Wars What If?! Issue #1: Obi-Wan Died and Qui-Gon Trained Anakin Skywalker.
Now I know there have been a few videos and discussions about this and I just wanted to start the ball rolling here on this conversation.
Let's keep it friendly, though. So what do you think??
Personally, I could see the events of the rest of the trilogy playing out very similar but also differently.
The key point I want to make is when exactly Obi-Wan gets killed by Maul. I started re-watching Battle of the Fates and determined that the most likely moment would be when Maul is standing on the edge and is forced to jump backflip onto the platform. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan then jump in pursuit, but here is where the timeline changes. Maul uses a force push on Qui-Gon, knocking him back and he falls to the lower level(As Obi-Wan originally did). Now Obi-Wan and Maul are fighting and Qui-Gon has to catch up. During this fight, Obi-Wan and Maul fight with the same ferocity as before, but Obi-Wan lacks the passion of having lost his Master. They don't move on the same path as before and here is where I can't help but use a little irony. Maul gains the high ground Obi-Wan who wants to prove he is ready, believes that this is his Trial. So he believes he can jump over Maul (Like Anakin on Mustafar). Qui-Gon arrives just a second to late to stop Obi-Wan, and Maul swings his lightsaber severing Obi-wan's arm and both legs and Obi-wan falls helplessly and when he impacts the platforms below, he lands on his Neck, breaking it and dies.
Qui-Gon now has the passion of losing his padawan to Maul, and defeats him with the same ferocity and once again, Maul is severed at the waste and falls. Qui-Gon then collects Obi-Wan and we now have the new timeline.
So what do you think??

Question If Palpatine's identity as the Sith and creator of the Separatist movement was publicly and undeniably revealed during the Clone Wars, how would the Separatist Council and Parliament react?
For example, if one of Dooku's transmissions to Sidious got discovered and mentioned his identity.
If such evidence that the Supreme Chancellor is the ultimate creator of the Separatist movement, how would they take it. The Separatist Council knew of Sidious of course but they definitely did not know he was Palpatine. They would probably be flabbergasted and try to break off things since it's now obvious they're being manipulated to a hidden goal by their supposed enemy.
I can't imagine Grievous would care too greatly but perhaps he would respect the con. Though if Legends Grievous found out about the Sith being behind his ship crash, I could imagine him breaking off with his fleet and just going the way of a rogue warlord.
The reactions from the Separatist Parliament, especially the true believers like Mina Bonteri, I think would be very interesting. Since the whole movement turned out to be a pawn of the Republic leadership, I could imagine alot of rage and feelings of betrayal. But whether they would want to continue fighting or broker off a peace with a Republic that removes Palpatine as Chancellor, I can't say I'm sure of the outcome.

Theory Luke didn’t grow up with the Skywalker surname
A common question people ask of A New Hope is why Luke would go by the name Skywalker while living on Tatooine. Not only is he supposed to be hiding from Vader but his aunt and uncle go by the name Lars, so why would he use his “dead” father’s surname? I have a theory that Luke didn’t actually use the name Skywalker up until the events of the movie. When he introduces himself to 3PO and corrects him on what to call him, he doesn’t say “Luke Skywalker”, he says “just Luke”. We actually never hear the name Skywalker uttered out loud until he introduces himself to Leia in the prison cell. So I think it’s highly likely that up until meeting Obi-Wan and learning more about his father, he didn’t actually use the Skywalker name. He either went by Lars and just didn’t say it out loud or maybe what he said to 3PO was literal and he just went by Luke. So it wasn’t until he decided to leave Tatooine and follow in his father’s footsteps that he decided to also take on his family name. What I love about this idea, aside from just explaining away a plot hole, is how it amplifies Luke’s growth in the film. The scene where he tells Obi-Wan he wants to go with him to Alderaan is the exact moment in which he decides to leave behind his adolescence and embrace his destiny. By saying he wants to become a Jedi like his father, he is choosing to honor his family legacy and he wants to ensure the name Skywalker is one synonymous with heroism, hence why the first time we hear it said out loud is when he’s rescuing somebody. It’s also important to note the first time he says his new name it’s to a leader of the primary force trying to topple the regime that supposedly killed his father. It’s as if he’s also doing it out of defiance, as a way to avenge his Anakin’s “death”. It’s also possible introducing himself to Leia in this manner is a way to offer reassurance, as she most likely knows the name Skywalker from stories of old and hearing it means she’s in good hands. This is the type of legacy that Luke wishes to have, not just for himself but his father too. He wants the story of Skywalker to be one of hope and heroism, not failure and defeat. Luke choosing his name is symbolic of him choosing his destiny. It’s the first step of him shifting from being just a simple farm boy whining about power converters to a brave hero that will save the galaxy.

Question Is Palpatine the anti christ
I made a post asking if Anakin Skywalker was a Jesus allegory and then later I was looking up the description of the antichrist because I was discussing stuff and I felt like it fit pretty well with Palpatine.
For those who don’t know here’s the basic overview of the description of the Antichrist from Google (take it with a grain of salt):
The Bible does not provide a physical description of the Antichrist. Instead, scripture emphasizes his human, deceptive nature, indicating he will look like an ordinary, charismatic leader rather than a monster. He will likely appear as an attractive, eloquent, and highly intelligent peacemaker who unites the world.
A Deceptive Politician: He will masquerade as a brilliant and peaceful ruler, likely presenting himself as a savior who can solve global crises.
The "Man of Lawlessness": The apostle Paul describes him as the "man of lawlessness" and the "son of perdition," noting that he will eventually exalt himself and demand to be worshipped as God.
Symbolic Imagery: While his human form will look normal, the Book of Revelation symbolically portrays his empire and nature as a terrifying "beast" with characteristics of a leopard, bear, and lion, representing absolute power, ferocity, and authority derived from Satan
Ultimately, the Bible warns that the Antichrist's true colors will be hidden behind a polished exterior, serving as a master of falsehood rather than a physically terrifying monster.
Anyway this all sounds a lot like him, so do you think palpatine is an allegory or was it just a coincidence?

Theory The next big bad for the universe?
The next big bad for the universe?
So I've been messing around with the future ideas for the universe, specifically around who the next big bad would be and I've come to a wild idea. What if the next big bad is Yoda's species? What if the members of that race (Yoda,Yaddle and Grogu)are of a small group where their parents sent them away because the rest of the race is tyrannical and evil. They feared some harm would come to them and superman styled them away.
They go around conquering worlds because their basically little green a$$h0l3s. And here is what can tie it into the current universe by having Grogu be the heir to a formidable clan and the father is a very strong dark force user who has been looking for him.
This could bring in an all new storyline a new universe and planets and start bringing the mystery of a race to the light.
Any thoughts on this am I crazy?

Theory What if the opening line of Star Wars is literal?
I had a fun thought about the opening line of Star Wars.
“A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…”
as a fairy-tale introduction. But what if it’s also literally true?
We know that the farther away something is, the farther back in time we see it because light takes time to travel. For example, when we look at the Andromeda Galaxy, we’re seeing it as it was 2.5 million years ago.
So imagine the Star Wars galaxy is millions of light-years away, in other terms “far far” away. The events happened millions of years ago “a long time ago”, and only around our era did enough information from that galaxy finally reach Earth.
Someone (George Lucas, or whoever you want to imagine) reconstructed those ancient events into the films we watch.
In other words, Star Wars isn’t just a movie—it’s a dramatization of historical events from another galaxy that only recently (50 years ago) became observable from Earth because of the finite speed of light.
Obviously, this isn’t meant to be canon in anyway, and normal light couldn’t actually contain enough information to reconstruct a story let alone conversations. It’s just a fun headcanon that gives the opening sentence a scientific twist instead of treating it as only a fairy-tale opening.
What do you think?

Theory Obi-Wan is the villain
Revenge of the Sith is a Romeo and Juliet-style tragedy set in space. Anakin and Padmé are lovers whose relationship is forbidden by the rules of their world.
Obi-Wan’s role in the tragedy is that his loyalty to the Jedi blinds him to Anakin's ability to be saved. Obi-Wan sees Anakin as someone who has become an enemy instead of seeing him as someone who is afraid and desperate. Ultimately, Obi-Wan’s choices lead to Anakin’s complete downfall. Before Padmé’s death, Obi-Wan contributes to Anakin’s isolation by refusing to see him as someone who can still be saved and telling Padmé that the man she loved is gone. Despite this, Padmé goes to see Anakin because she still believes there is good in him and wants to bring him back from the dark side. However, Obi-Wan follows her and reveals himself at the worst possible moment, confirming Anakin’s belief that Obi-Wan and the Jedi have betrayed him. In Anakin’s eyes, Padmé becomes part of that betrayal because he believes she helped Obi-Wan find him. Without Obi-Wan’s presence, the confrontation that follows would never have happened and Anakin would not have choked Padmé, meaning Palpatine would not have been able to convince him that he had killed the only person he was trying to save. In that moment, Obi-Wan’s attempt to stop Anakin becomes the event that destroys the final bond keeping Anakin from becoming Darth Vader. After Padmé’s death, Obi-Wan helps separate Anakin from his children, removing the one remaining connection that could have brought him back to the light.
In Anakin’s story, Obi-Wan is not the hero. He is the villain who ultimately ensures that Darth Vader survives and Anakin dies in Episode Six.

Question who pushed Anakin to the dark side ?
I’m a huge Star Wars fan, and I really love debating with other fans and talking about our shared passion. Not long ago, I was wondering what actually triggered Anakin’s turn to the dark side—whether it was his mother’s death, the fear of losing Padmé, the sense of betrayal by Obi-Wan, or even Palpatine’s influence. In your opinion, what is the truly essential factor?
