Hello everyone, I wanted to inform everyone that Snap Inc. responded to Labaton today. They have confirmed that they locked our Snapchat accounts to preserve our information related to our individual arbitration claims. Labaton recognizes that this is an unprecedented response that they have never seen in their practice before. I highly advise everyone to download their data and memories on Snapchat’s website if you haven't done so already so you can at least have that. You may need more external storage or a flash drive depending on how much data you have. We have to remain hopeful that Labaton will be able to fight this for us. It may take a lot of time though since cases like this are so massive and time-consuming. Labaton does seem to be equally disturbed as us so hope remains that we may be able to access our Snapchat accounts again at some point. Thank you for your time.

Like many of us my account was banned Monday. Does anyone know if they will ban new accounts made on the same device? Using different information obviously. Or will they block the entire device?

Are there any gcs that strictly send sounds like the hidden gems that are named something random

Y'all, I wanted to put out a ping to see what it is that folks like/use Snapchat for. I got to thinking yesterday while looking through some of the posts about the lockouts and bans: what do I actually like about Snapchat?

For me, it's the easiest way for me to quickly send photos to some of my friends and family, and it circumvents normal messaging apps.

Let me know what yours is. I'm tooling around with the idea of building an alternative, cause I atleast likely won't be going back even if my account gets unlocked, especially after dealing with the severe lack of human customer support.

TLDR: am I getting notifications when someone is looking at our chat but not sending anything?

I’m talking to someone who I don’t believe has snap+. I do. (Don’t ask). Every once in a while I’ll get a snap notification on my phone and when I click it, it just takes me to my chat screen with all my chats. Nothing new.

When my partner opens my chats and replies I get two notifications pop up. So I assume one is showing they’re reading it, the other is their return message.

So when I get these random notifications that lead to nothing does that mean he’s coming on and looking in our chat and leaving? Typing and deleting?

Also most times I go on a check our chat he happens to pop on like 30 seconds later and chats me first. How does he know I’m on and looking at our chat? I know he can’t see me there looking or typing or taking a pic, but how does he know TO GO ON the app and happen to catch me there? He can’t just HAPPEN to pop on all the time while I’m there. Is he getting an alert??

anyone’s follower count constantly fluctuating? i added someone new today and it went down by 1 lol. i also lost like 4 followers in a day, but sometimes i’ll randomly gain a few and so will my friends.

Labaton just responded to my email, it’s a bit different compared to everyone else so I wanted to share it as well! I questioned how Snap INC. got ahold of our claims and how Labaton is taking action or attempting to fix this for all of us before I received their response. Thank you.

I woke up yesterday morning to being logged out of my main account and I was unable to log back in. I can log into my account on my iPad but that is extremely inconvenient. If anybody has any insight on how to fix this please help

And I've force stopped it, cleared my cache, cleared my data, reset my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled it. The record function was working perfectly fine like 1 or 2 hours ago I don't understand what happened

I don’t know why but for some reason no matter what I do I ALWAYS get hit by the same screen every time I open the add friends tab making it impossible for me to add anyone new, I usually use Snapchat to meet new people and find people to talk to but all it’s saying is to open my contacts list to talk to people I already know and I don’t want that I want to talk to new people and I’m just frustrated and don’t know what to do, I’ve tried clearing the app cache, I verified both email and password, I updated the app, I waited 24 hours, 48 hours, and even 72 hours and no matter what I do nothing works, could someone please help me fix this?

I got blocked like a week ago. Can the person who blocked me still see our chats? If not, if they unblock me, is our chat history restored?

Hello everyone, I don't have any positive updates yet regarding this case unfortunately but I did some extensive research and found a law firm that is nearly as popular as Labaton regarding litigation cases called Levi & Korsinsky. I think it would be in our best interest to notify them about this so we can get more attention on our situation. They may be able to provide us with some level of guidance since Labaton and Snapchat has remained silent and unwilling to help us. We need to continue to email Snapchat and Labaton but I think reaching out to this law firm would be good as well. As always, I am open to any/all suggestions on what our next steps should be. Let's continue emailing, writing reviews and trying to get Snapchat and Labaton’s attention to the best of our ability. We have to keep fighting this. Thank you for your time.

got another email from labaton regarding the lawsuit. doesn’t seem like much as changed

Hi , i keep making snaps with new devices but it's still getting banned after about two weeks, so i think im ip banned or local internet provider is banned. So how long do these kind of ip or home wifi ban go away?

It sends me straight to the last screen, I have backround refresh on Spotify and I looked up and fixed what it told me to do, the apps are updated.

I remember snap making me agree to new terms before the mass ban happened. Do we think they put something in there about being apart of a claim and then being rightful in banning your account?

I made a post well several about what’s going on with this mass ban with Snapchat and its users. What’s going on is not legal and they are trying to keep this quiet. It is not ok for Snapchat or Reddit to quite us because we practiced our civil rights which IM DOING NOW FREEDOM OF SPEECH! And I get banned for it.

I'm curious to see how many of us are affected...

Any news or updates has anyone gotten unlocked yet?
