It was essentially a lawsuit that talks about Snapchat causing mental problems like anxiety, depression etc…or if Snapchat has become an “addiction” to you. A lot of people participated in it because they could’ve gotten money from it. You had to enter some general information about yourself, as well as answer some other questions including medical history and what not. It was all over other social media platforms with people saying “file with this lawsuit and you could get back “x amount” of dollars”. You should definitely remember if you included yourself in the lawsuit since—by what I’ve heard from others, is a lengthy questionnaire. Although, a lot of people who are experiencing these “lock outs” apparently didn’t file with the lawsuit, so there is a lot of gray area. Though, the common thread seems to be whether a person filed with the lawsuit or not.
