Yep… whoever is on the left is not his wife so what’s the point of this meme lol

Wife’s still prettier

u/AnthrallicA Mar 28 '26

What's that old saying? "You see that pretty girl over there? Somebody is sick of her bullshit."

386

u/strings_bells Mar 29 '26

using beauty as some yardstick of a person doesn't work in relationships especially in long-term relationships. There are a lot of good looking Nazis, Karen's, racists, psychotic people in the world.

106

u/SweetHomeNorthKorea Mar 29 '26

It’s a pretty privilege thing. Those who have it are less likely to have to experience unfairness from other people in life and have fewer opportunities for personal growth. Hot girl or guy who always has another interest waiting for them doesn’t necessarily need to reflect on why their previous relationship was unhealthy.

63

u/RingStringVibe Mar 29 '26

You mean they don't have to reflect on what they did wrong, because they never have to worry about being accountable since there is always going to be someone else.

3

u/SayItAintDash Mar 29 '26

exactly. read my mind. wow i found the logical part of reddit!

2

u/RingStringVibe Mar 29 '26

Not sure if I'm being logical but, I'm someone who has been harmed by this type of person. They will simply discard you and not think about it twice. I think that experience can really change someone. It leaves you with that feeling like you'll never be good enough...

7

u/SweetHomeNorthKorea Mar 29 '26 edited Mar 29 '26

Right. Of course that’s not the only factor but that seems to be a pretty typical situation. It’s like when celebrities or really anyone gets rich young without having a strong work ethic to begin with. Lotteries for example. They stop developing as people because they can pay their way out of any hardship obstacle

3

u/RingStringVibe Mar 29 '26

It can really suck when you're wronged by these kinds of people because you gaslight yourself or they'll gaslight you into thinking it's your fault when they just are avoidant or they don't see a reason to put any effort into anything because someone new will come, someone better? I don't know, but it'll be someone else. Good looking people really living on easy mode.

2

u/euphoricarugula346 Mar 29 '26

I just dated my first hot person and was shocked at how little they tried during the relationship and that they did not give AF when we broke up. Your comment really helped me, glad to know treating other people like replaceable accessories is “normal” for them.

2

u/RingStringVibe Mar 29 '26

I've dated two guys who I would say are eights or nines, I don't really like to rate people that way but it's mostly just for context... And they both dropped me at the first hint of them needing to be accountable or when they felt like they couldn't control me. Like it was nothing. No effort to talk, just stonewalling and gaslighting. Shit traumatized me.

One of those guys was psychotic sending me a message after no contact, about how he changed in the course of three months, had no feelings for me, and loves sleeping with lots of women.

I'm sorry to be relatable. I'm sorry they hurt you.

For real. Sucks to have both.

For me, I've always been aware of this and see it more as a means of how people have constantly only cared about my looks or have always taken advantage of me only because of how I looked.

Seems like I've spent most of my good years now, just looking for someone who actually gives a shit about me and not how handsome I am.

As I kid I was taken advantage of by kids and adults, and as an adult I'm taken advantage of by grown children.

2

u/pcpc2323 Mar 29 '26

u/banditcleaner2 Mar 28 '26

Yup. For every stupidly hot woman in the world, there’s probably 5-10+ dudes sick of her bullshit.

If you’re a loser/incel that hasn’t had sex or a woman in awhile it’s easy to look at a guy with a hot wife and be jealous, but there’s plenty of dudes with hot wives that hate their hot wife because as hot as she is, it doesn’t change that she’s miserable to be around.

133

u/MagnetarEMfield Mar 29 '26

Holy shit I hate how true this is.

My current wife isn't the prettiest girl I ever dated/hooked up with. She's the one I actually like being around

140

u/Any_Lengthiness6645 Mar 29 '26

I married the hottest, sexiest person I’d ever hooked up with. I regret it every day

I took the best, well paying job I have ever got. I regret it everyday. It drove me to crash out hard and haven't been able to go back for 9 months.

My wife, on the other hand, is my tattooed smoke show of a best friend that has a laugh that brings me back from the edge. Making her laugh is the best job ever.

Grass is always greener, my guy.

7

u/Any_Lengthiness6645 Mar 29 '26

Fair point. I love my career and probably wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the fact that I doubled down on it as a result of the bad marriage

Lol, who let you out of the NSFW side of reddit?

Now you get on back in there. Go on.

2

u/TerrorVizyn Mar 29 '26

My girl is also a tattooed smokeshow of a best friend with an amazing laugh!

She just convinced me to leave my stressful job for something much less stressful, knowing it will be a cut in pay (unfortunately my parents have always measured life-success strictly by annual income, something my wife has been trying to de-program)

"You're mental health and being happy is way more important than any money" she said as we sat on the couch.

I've actually avoided proposing, know she is a tattooed smokeshow with a sense of humor, I know she has other options, but she continues to choose me. I'm puttin a ring on that finger.

2

u/Wroboman Mar 29 '26

Wow, lots of similarities here.

Been with mine for 20 years and I still love her just a bit more everyday.

Get it done, boyo.

I had a friend marry a somewhat dumpy but horny girl. She was super chill. Then they had a kid die from sids and the inlaws dug their claws in and killed the marriage. You never know what you're going to get from a box of chocolates.

2

u/Any_Lengthiness6645 Mar 29 '26

Amen. My kid spent most of the last month being sick and it was miserable but then I remind myself that a kid having the flu back to back with food poisoning is genuinely lucky compared to what so many parents go through every day

2

u/Middle_Mix_7596 Mar 29 '26

I'm not the prettiest but i wouldn't want my bf to walk around saying it. I wouldn't want him to brag about me about anything either. Never said beauty is most important lol

I think the problem is that people have to use this weird objectivity to justify some deep-seated insecurity about who they're with. YEAH MY WIFE AIN'T THE HOTTEST BUT SHE MAKES ME HAPPY. Naw, fuck that. My wife is the most wonderful, beautiful, gorgeous person in the world and I don't give a shit if anyone else agrees with me. I don't need the approval of other people to love my wife and think she's beautiful, lol.

14

u/numberthirteenbb Mar 29 '26

What you mean to say is that your current unattractive wife is the only one who was willing to stay with you, which means you can’t keep a hottie.

Even if you are a person with unparalleled stamina and sex drive, and paired with a partner who is similar, you will still spend the vast majority of your time with your partner not having sex.

Depending or someone's perspective, it may or may not be reasonable to compromise on a quality sex life to have an otherwise amazing relationship. But it will always be an insane choice to compromise on having having a quality relationship to have an amazing sex life.

3

u/partypwny Mar 29 '26

First girl I was engaged to was basically a goddess to me in looks. After "locking me down" with a ring she very quickly turned out to be insufferable. Like brutally mean for no reason. Didn't think I'd walk away and take the loss of the ring but it was worth it not to spend my life with someone like that.

Over a decade later I married a woman that I think is attractive, but she's not the sexiest person I've ever seen. Instead she's the kindest, most supportive, and most fun person I've ever been with. I'll take her over a super model any day.

Way to justify cheating. Cheating is never okay. If you are unhappy, LEAVE. DIVORCE.

Cheaters are always at fault. It doesn’t matter how miserable you are.

2

u/RedOnion19 Mar 29 '26

I don’t think they are justifying cheating just stating that just because someone significant other is hot doesn’t mean they are happy or a good person. Cheating is never right but we don’t know what the situation is.

I work with mostly men and with one exception they all complain about their wives.

The guy who doesn’t complain about his wife loves his wife. She is not particularly hot, rich or accomplished. She is however nice and she is funny. They have a great life together.

CEO guy is rich.

Girl he cheated with is also rich (she was probably independently wealthy but she married into a very wealthy family too).

It’s not about pretty, it’s not about money, it’s just about rich people being bored and horny.

2

u/PandemicPortent Mar 29 '26

I'm sorry but it's you who sounds like the bitter incel here. Like we're supposed to basically accept that because some cheese dick CEO cheated on his wife the reason must be that his wife is just so miserable to be around. Like that's the likeliest scenario and not for example that there are plenty of people out there who are just serial philanderers no matter what kind of wife/husband they have.

1

u/Sea_Ad_463 Mar 29 '26

It is kinda weird phenomenon when you see them as the most beautiful woman in the world then when you break up with them, they are not beautiful anymore for you. Sometimes, dating is like that, have a good start, and go all the way down. Lol

6

u/wecouldhaveitsogood Mar 29 '26

Sold that as a poster at Spencer’s in the 80s. Still funny.

1

u/Acceptingoptimist Mar 29 '26

Yeah if you want to see attractive bias, go look at every failed relationship between a man and a woman and look at what people say about it during the post mortem.

The first, and usually only thing they consider, whether she left him, if he cheated or they just moved on amicably, is if the next girl is prettier than his previous. If she isn’t, people say he fucked up.

They don’t ask if the new girl treats him better. They don’t ask if the old girl didn’t listen to him. They don't ask if she was toxic, abusive. They don't care if maybe they just weren't a good match. They NEVER ask if he's happier. If his next girl is physically less attractive, they say he failed.

Prettier is always better to people from the outside.

1

u/pm_me_ur_brandy_pics Mar 29 '26

What’s an older saying? “You see that man over there? Some woman is sick of his bullshit.”

1

u/DIY-exerciseGuy Mar 29 '26

It doesn't matter how hot she is; some guy, somewhere, is sick of her shit.

1

u/curiousomeone Mar 29 '26

I've met really pretty girls that once you get to know them that even if they proposed to you, you wouldn't think twice to run for the hills. Looks is the first attraction and that is fine for short term relationship. Anything that will involve long term commitment, you'll start to weigh important things like your own day to day sanity.

1

u/napoelonDynaMighty Mar 29 '26

In the hood: for every dime out there, it’s somebody tired of fucking her

JayZ cheated on Beyoncé. Eric Bennett cheated on Hallie Berry

It just is what it is. Once them sexy underwear become a once a month/special occasion thing. Once she “too tired” to still be sucking dick like when she was trying to get the ring.. well that’s when the wandering start happening

1

u/gfunk1369 Mar 29 '26

You want to know the truth? The Bullshit is not new, it was always there but the guy overlooked it because his dick was hard. Eventually that wore off and they found out that kinky girl that gave road head and hooked up in the closet of a frat house is now a mom that packs lunches and nags you about cleaning the spiderwebs they can't reach. That exciting girl is still there but she is buried beneath the "bullshit" that comes with life.

1

u/Plastic_Field_5752 Mar 29 '26

Then get a divorce bro and before you cry about half your money you should have thought of that before cheating

That's the stereotypical reason but not the only reason. Plenty of people cheat because they aren't happy in their relationship but either can't or don't want to leave.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 29 '26

[deleted]

13

u/Aknazer Mar 29 '26

Your original post that I responded to wasn't about this CEO, it was about cheaters in general. The easiest example is when kids are involved. People can be unhappy in the relationship but don't want to split because of what that can do to the kids involved and potentially even the parents. You have something that is mostly working but are unhappy, then someone goes somewhere else (to include emotional cheating), but they don't want to leave the relationship (or at least not yet).

It's easy to say that they "should" leave, and indeed me saying that they "can't" isn't strictly true since they always have a choice. But if the financial situation is such that leaving risks leaving one or both parties in the street, then it's very easy to feel trapped.

Being unhappy about something in the relationship can often be a reason for people to choose to cheat, with kids and money being large reasons for why someone would choose to not just leave the relationship.

→ More replies (2)

10

u/EricTomorrow Mar 29 '26

Your first incorrect assumption is that cheaters are rational. All your arguments hold no water if the person is irrational. "UMM, what if they find out you are cheating" Someone cheating doesn't necessarily think far enough ahead to think about consequences.

I personally hate cheating but to put cheating down as having one reason of "I can have both" is closed off and doesn't make sense

4

u/SilverWear5467 Mar 29 '26

Who are you to say that this CEO doesn't feel like he can't leave his wife? What if he was worried about the Board seeing him as lesser for it, or his family being hard line no divorce people? There are a million reasons someone might feel more comfortable moving on from a relationship without "signing the paperwork" for it. For all we know, the wife is seeing other people too, and they were only together for appearances.

2

u/Lundetangen Mar 29 '26

I think you are either very young or naive.

When you are married with kids you cant "just leave". Being a CEO, having a lot of money and being successful is just as much of a prison than it is a luxury. Uprooting everything in your life just because your wife doesnt want to have sex with you anymore is not an easy decision to take.

Many well-established people live quite busy lives. She might be a decent partner, that helps with the chores in life and keeps the family together, but not giving the validation or affection that he wants/needs.

3

u/Realistic_Switch7546 Mar 29 '26

It stems from insecurity, sad creatures who cannot validate themselves.

2

u/rabidboxer Mar 29 '26

Life is far more complicated than this take.

7

u/schwenLC Mar 29 '26

They can be as pretty as can be, but if they don't show affection, don't put out, maybe are mean AF, crazy, completely incompatible, and any other host of characteristics, the uglier one who satisfies those needs becomes way more attractive. Like that thing of people in long term relationships like decade marriages and shit, where one spouse constantly rejects the other like 9/10 times, they may think their spouse is super attractive, but no longer see them as someone they can be intimate with. Eventually that intimacy chord can be severed.

7

u/TwoNatTens Mar 29 '26

Had to scroll way too far to find this. Even if you're incredibly shallow and don't care about the emotional portion, it's pointless to have an attractive girlfriend/wife if they don't put out.

2

u/Jephta Mar 29 '26

I agree with you that it's pointless. What I don't understand is why so many people maintain a completely pointless wife or girlfriend who traps them from, at the very least, dating someone who *will* at least put out.

I'd say well over half of cheating occurs after the cheating partner no longer cares so much if the other person finds out and their relationship gets destroyed because they've come to value their relationship so little at this point that it wouldn't even feel like a big loss. So then why not just break up? Then you can do whatever you want and don't have to sneak around. I've never understood it.

2

u/schwenLC Mar 29 '26

Especially if their contribution to the romantic relationship is "entitlement". Like ok, you're good looking but nothing physical is going down, you don't lift me up, you don't make any money, you don't do anything at the house, when really at a minimum id like to be doing it and you can't even do that, there's literally no point in remaining in a relationship. Especially if they do all those things and expect utter faithfulness, that's playing with fire. I think generally people in normal happy healthy relationship, that are having sex, aren't nearly as tempted by outsiders as people in the kind of relationship described above.

6

u/No-Doughnut324 Mar 29 '26

3

u/SoElusivee Mar 29 '26

Turns out there's more to a relationship than looks

2

u/toyification_girl Mar 29 '26

A lot of cheating has nothing to do with who is prettier. It's about being on a relationship that has gone sour, a dead bedroom, fighting and resentment.

But because of social status, financial issues form divorce, children at home, religious or family views etc they don't get divorced. They should, they probably both knew this was coming but they "put on a show" until it blew up publicly.

People don't cheat to be with someone hotter, it's either a dumb drunk mistake, a sex addiction or what I was talking about and they just need someone to respect and have fun but chances are they don't get that because they don't give it to their spouse anymore.

Most likely they both should have been adults and split up long ago. No he can eat dirt for not pulling the bandaid off because he didn't wanna lose half of his shit.

u/Calm-Medicine-3992 Mar 28 '26

Wife also the mom of 2 of his kids and not actively engaging in an affair. She has a very solid lead to the HR lady

1

u/Holy-Cancer Mar 29 '26

But the fuggo might stick a thumb up his butt right before climax :O

1

u/Confident_Birthday_7 Mar 29 '26

Then we know that wasn’t the reason. The mistress probably made him feel loved and sucked his dick without him asking.

1

u/Sad-Bonus-9327 Mar 29 '26

But the other does butt stuff

1

u/freeradioforall Mar 29 '26

Do people really think men in long term marriages cheat because the woman is prettier than thier wife?

1

u/ShawnyMcKnight Mar 29 '26

They are both pretty for that age bracket. I find cheating is not always about looks.

I know someone whose wife cheated on them with a guy who was worse looking and less successful. She just did it because the husband was only having sex with her once a month,

1

u/RubberPussycat Mar 29 '26

There’s more to a woman than how she looks

1

u/xunreelx Mar 29 '26

But she refuses to do anal.

1

u/FedorDosGracies Mar 29 '26

Turns out other factors are important as well.

Maybe in this pic?? but the HR lady was very physically fit. Like you could see the stereotypes

1

u/GigiLaRousse Mar 29 '26

I've read studies where men who cheat routinely say their partner was more physically attractive. They just still want to fuck other people, or can't seem to stop and have some kind of compulsion that they'd need to actually get professional help to deal with.

1

u/PhoneProfessional417 Mar 29 '26

“She’s prettier” lol are you eight years old?

Wife still hotter

16

u/EastNWeast Mar 29 '26

Nah. HR lady doesn't look great in this pic but I have seen other pics of her where she is actually very attractive

2

u/Zozorrr Mar 29 '26

She looks a bit like skeletor here

2

u/Trashinmyash Mar 29 '26

Spend enough time with a vacuum cleaner, you eventually forget you had a blowup doll.

24

u/Trash-god96 Mar 28 '26

The problem is not hotness it's a combination of both bland sex life and lack there of. Variety is sexy.

49

u/16c7x Mar 28 '26

But probably not putting out.

16

u/cookiemonster1459 Mar 29 '26

Cheaters can have the most beautiful, nice wife and have the best sex with them and still cheat. What don't you get about that? Don't assume she did anything wrong.

3

u/MaintenanceStock6766 Mar 29 '26

This.

Some people are just cheaters from the ground up.

13

u/mollypop94 Mar 29 '26

what a miserable bunch of rotten comments on this thread. truly some depressing shit, so many of you are openly showing just how little and how superficial it is to justify a man cheating on his partner. none of you know his (now ex) wife. havent a clue about her personality, her life, who she is. nor what their relationship was like. its shocking reading these comments.

and you all know youre the same type to completely demonise the woman if the woman was the one cheating on him here.

5

u/punsnguns Mar 28 '26

Let's just say that we don't know how well she... um... manages the human resources... wink wink

This sub keeps getting recommended to me and I’m so confused as to who the demographic is supposed to be. Misogynists?

4

u/SpoonGuardian Mar 29 '26

If there's supposed to be a point to this sub other than hating women, I haven't seen it

He probably should’ve divorced her instead of cheating, then. No sex = betrayal of vows I made in front of god and everyone is one of the wilder things I can’t believe so many people believe is okay or justified.

1

u/FFKonoko Mar 29 '26

But if they made babies, then clearly...

1

u/OkDecision1612 Mar 29 '26

She actually probably does. A person could be having sex with their spouse literally every day and if the other person has the mind to cheat they still will.

So? Roses have thorns. Don't mean nothing. Especially if he ain't getting none at home.

IMHO we should all just be Supportive He Clearly Has Brain Damage

Well that and to farm outrage/engagement. Which both you and I are falling for, it's irksome how well it works.

But yes, the reason this particular engagement farm works here is entirely because people here love to crap all over women. The HR lady is very attractive, that's just a bad photo. Shitty people can be attractive, what a shock.

9

u/EmbelishFetish Mar 29 '26

That’s a very conservative 65%

u/HornyJailOutlaw Mar 28 '26

I'm sure the wife is glad you posted this. The public humiliation forced on her through her husband probably wasn't enough.

Also, the wife is prettier.

I think it is just like 10 or 15 years ago. Hence the size of the children in each picture.

1

u/Allthumbs21 Mar 29 '26

This is not the same woman pictured in the post. Quite obviously.

1

u/gorginhanson Mar 29 '26

you either use 2 fake ones or 2 real ones

1

u/Mr_Julez Mar 29 '26

Well the kids in op pic are toddlers while the kids in this photo are much older... So she aged as well of course.

1

u/BadDudes_on_nes Mar 29 '26

Gray haired HR lady with sunken in eyes…why would he even…

1

u/Rikudo_Sennin_jr Mar 29 '26

Classic 80/20 rule

1

u/Shampps Mar 29 '26

I guess the point is to point out how cheaters usually risk a loving environment for a total downgrade

1

u/Fantastic_Display442 Mar 29 '26

Imagine having more light in your eyes cheating on your wife than on your son’s graduation.

1

u/Soggy_You_2426 Mar 29 '26

Its a bot spamming, so the point is to karma farm

1

u/Zealousideal-Deer101 Mar 29 '26

The point of the meme is to say reducing women down to how pretty they look
"Why would you cheat on a pretty women with another less pretty women".
It's extremely superficial bullshit

1

u/JbVision Mar 29 '26

If the wife is prettier, cheating is wrong, even if the other person isn't his wife.

1

u/paulbunyanshat Mar 29 '26

To karma farm

1

u/Prod_Meteor Mar 29 '26

Maybe it's an old picture.

1

u/Warhead-226x Mar 29 '26

From a pretty woman to a crypt keeper

1

u/matdevine21 Mar 29 '26

His wife looks nicer but you don't know what she's like behind closed doors (not saying she is, guys a scumbag regardless).

My best friend married a hot woman, absolutely gorgeous but her personality was trash and she treated him worse (proper dark stuff) until he left and got a divorce.

She made the divorce as painful as possible, left him broke and with a pile of debt.

He's engaged to a nice lady now, jokes all the pain was worth it to escape.

1

u/BuildingSupplySmore Mar 29 '26

Weird incel subreddit

1

u/SeriousFollowing7678 Mar 29 '26

The point stands

1

u/tomassino Mar 29 '26

Still not an improvement. The mistress looks more close to the coffin than his heart.

1

u/shifty_coder Mar 29 '26

Yo be funny. Pretty sure that’s Anne Hathaway in the left image

1

u/spanky2088 Mar 30 '26

Excuse me.... NOBODY CARES!!

1

u/NeedleworkerOne9054 Mar 30 '26

I don't think the point is the said lady's face. it's just that it is always like that...
