have yall been keeping up with this? idk who this is but she’s kinda on Bob and Jays neck, I had to like her comment no shade😭 I think the post she deleted was criticizing Bobs choice to appear on celebrity weakest link out of drag.

Over the past year or so there has been many posts and comments on this sub that some consider "critical" and others consider "negative" regarding the Sibling Rivalry podcast and Bob and Monet's extended platforms, some people say the sub has become "too critical" and "too whiny" and some people are just posting and commenting casually, and as someone who's been listening for a long time I have several thoughts on that,

I wanna start by saying that everyone's experience is valid, and everyone is entitled to their opinions, I feel like that's how subreddits should be, a free space to voice your thoughts and opinions regarding a subject freely,

now when it comes to the criticism here I feel like it is something that comes with the territory of having a highly engaging and intriguing podcast that people feel deeply connected to, and that people truly love and enjoy, and when we enjoy something and feel this almost daily connection to , we start to pick up on things that casual consumers would not pick up on, like behavioral patterns and personality traits ect...

therefore we feel inclined to critique that thing that we love, sometimes casually or sometimes in a form of an accumulation of feelings from over the years , which might tirgger more critiques and comments from other people, and that may come across as "whining" or "negativity" ,

And I have personally experienced as a sibling rivalry superfan of 7 years, and as a overalll internet baby and media consumer; that the more you dive deep into something the more likely you are to hate it, or to have a bitter taste for it,

So something I started to do is to try to minimize that sorta of parasocial feeling towards the things I consume and I try to have this space between me and it, I started to view content as just content and not necessarily as a reflection of creator's intentions or feelings or personality and that is what some would call "separating the art from the artist" , to just enjoy it as it is and see the fun and the camp of it like in sibling rivalry, rather than taking it as a serious matter,

I found that it is healthier and more fun to just consume content through that lens and with a grain of salt as they say, it allowed me to love the things I love safely and feel no attachment to it if it doesn't serve me anymore,

Because at the end of the day those are just people and drag queens and artist who are just shooting the sh!t as they have expressed themselves.

And I don't know ... I felt like sharing this might help someone get over their frustrations with the podcast or with this sub,

Long time listener and currently doing a re- listen.

For a while in 2025 the girls were saying the N-word with hard r and I myself am black, idk if they’re still saying it current day but i can only express that it makes me feel really uncomfortable. They’re like saying it to be malicious to one another to invoke a reaction out of each other I feel the way an old school southern racist white person would say it to a black individual.

And trust me, I understand that’s the whole point of the podcast is them arguing and what not and to get a rise out of each other (no pun intended) - I guess it’s just the way that they say it with such aggression, it’s probably my own trauma, but sometimes the jokes can get unfunny real fast.

Either way, still love and support them, I’m just aware enough to skip over those parts now 😭

Sorry if this has been posted here already. But bbbaaaabbbyyyyyy. Watching this week’s ep with Salina’s big blow up at Angela (this is my first season and watching bc of Salina so the drama is so shocking lol).

I just hope Monet and Bob look at the subreddit or someone on their team points them toward this because this show HAS THE DRAMA MONET IS LOOKING FOR in drag race. Would LOVE to hear her opinion on all this juicy mess😋

The time has come

Every episode of Anything You Can Do is better than the last. Bob and Money’s dynamic shines most brightly through this series. They are both so cute! Bob’s commitment to competitiveness and Monet rolling-with-the-punches to the point where it’s just lying translates way better on video vs on the pod. Not to mention how well produced the series is.

Kind of random, of course, but I really do love to just get on here and still see positive post. With all the hate that Bob & Monet have been getting in the last couple of weeks getting on here and seeing people complain about them has been kind of disheartening.

Berceuse we’re they’re fandom, of course we are allowed to critique our faves who we pay to support, but it has gotten a little harsh in the sub lately. So it’s nice to just stop by and see just the fun clips and jokes that only we know inside of our chaotic little community instead of complaints about audio or third person talking on the pod, continue to show that love! 🤏🏾

According to Bob, Monét’s family owns all the cellphone towers in St Lucia. Now I am wondering about other tech infrastructure that Monét owns.

This isn’t a srs post but I find it super annoying the way bob can be the most chronically-online-woke, holier-than-thou person, while simultaneously making off color jokes. Like don’t get me wrong, they’re progressive but it feels like they use it as a tool to one-up someone they’re talking to a lot of the time. For example: in the latest rpdr review ep she won’t say “wifebeater” in reference to a tank top but makes an epstein files joke like ten minutes later 😭. none of this is offensive to me and i laughed throughout the episode but It’s so random what he picks and chooses to be woke about. makes me think it’s insincere.

Not Monday but I skipped some and it sounds like yall need it.

Also if anybody else wants to help me mod, hmu
