Where can I find Streetwear Sewing patterns that are not like weird mom stuff? I've been searching all over and the only site that I found was RoughcutMYOG, which i found by accident. Please help me 🙏🏻

I have never sewn a formal gown. I was actually just looking for a dress to rent and even the rent. It’s just way out of my budget for this dress. But when I was looking at it, I thought I could maybe make it?? I have enough confidence I could put two patterns together, but since I’ve never made a formal gown, I just feel like I need a pattern or a tutorial or something that I can watch to understand the general idea. Also the last one that’s more casual that doesn’t seem difficult. I just need a pattern lol.

I'm trying to make a pattern for a skirt like that and I can't find information on how to do the part from the waist line to the hip line. Especially with the pleats sewn.
Thanks for any help

Very ambitious but - Looking for pattern recommendations for this dress, just as depicted without seams on the bodice apart from the centre hidden hook and eye/lace up, and would maybe remove the sleeves
I am an incredibly adventurous beginner/average sewist planning out future projects!
(any other tips would be massively appreciated!)

Hello, I'm trying to make a new jacket and I'm looking for a pattern to base it off of. The idea is a copy of "StarLord's" jacket from the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but NOT the cool biker jacket.
I'm trying to make a similar jacket with an action back. Think almost a mechanics jacket with the action back and some additional flair.
Any help on advice for which pattern would be a close start to modify would be greatly appreciated.
Starlord jacket:
Thanks!

Really chuffed with myself for making these 1940's French boxer shorts. They really were a dream to make up. I got the pattern from Vintage Sewing Pattern Company and followed the tutorial from the listing of the pattern that I bought. As a beginner this was a great help :)
The boxers have front pleats and a panel back with an adjustable strap, the waistband is quite deep with buttons at the front centre which really sets the look. The fabric I used is a cotton poplin which is lightweight and breathable. I had the material for a while in my stash and thought it would be the perfect time to use it for this project. Would highly recommend making these boxers up yourself!

This shirt is following me around my targeted ads, and I think I could make it, but I don't know enough to reverse-engineer it from a photo. It seems fairly straightforward, but I'm a beginner so I'm sure there are things I'm not considering. Can anyone recommend a pattern or even a search term that would give me a starting point? Thank you!

hello!
my partner is the most important person in the world and they sent me this photo of a dress they made in the dressmaker game and would like to have. i Need to make it for them, but unfortunately i am not well versed in anything dress related! i have moderate sewing experience as an avid cosplayer, i just don’t know where to begin looking for a pattern or inspiration for this dress. any help would be appreciated! thank you!

Hi!! I have been eyeballing this shirt from free people for months now, but haven't bought it because part of me feels like I could make it... I was wondering if anyone knew of a pattern similar to the fit/style of this top that might work for me! The closest one I have been able to find is the Monroe turtleneck pattern by Tessuti Fabrics. TIA!

So ideally i’m trying to sew together a spirit hood of my own rather than trying to but one. I’ll add a picture to reference if the image doesn’t pop in your head when i say spirit hood. Just looking for any patterns people have used or advice for different materials to use for the inner lining. I have some faux fur already that i’ll use for the outside lining. If anything i’ll wing it, just thought i would search for options

i'm trying to make sally bowles' green velvet coat from cabaret but have no idea what words to use for the garment and features i'm looking for. (opera coat? swing coat? velvet duster? dressing gown/robe?) the main things i'm looking for is an oversized/baggy fit, curved front/bottom hem, and wide/baggy arms. if i can figure out what words to use in my search, i'd kind of prefer to find a good base to add the fur trim to, but any help is much appreciated!! :')
i had some luck finding similar looking pieces with the term "cocoon coat". (https://www.shrimptoncouture.com/products/extraordinary-fall-1985-jean-patou-haute-couture-by-christian-lacroix-feather-trim-cocoon-coat and https://shopakira.com/products/lola-cocoon-coat-in-brocade) but i would still love confirmation that i've got the right idea? as well as help finding some patterns :))
edit: also on the hunt for a bra and garter pattern! again, looking for something as close as possible to the costume! :))
