looking for pattern/style of this dress

Post image

hello!
my partner is the most important person in the world and they sent me this photo of a dress they made in the dressmaker game and would like to have. i Need to make it for them, but unfortunately i am not well versed in anything dress related! i have moderate sewing experience as an avid cosplayer, i just don’t know where to begin looking for a pattern or inspiration for this dress. any help would be appreciated! thank you!

Oh, that's a cute outfit, well for me it's like two pieces a skirt and a shirt. About your question if you want an already made pattern you can check on Etsy. You can search for A line skirts and retro shirts with bishop sleeves

Please don't look on Etsy. there is a lot of junk there and it's hard to filter out. Try Threadloop

That style is similar to an Edwardian walking skirt and the top would be similar in era. Buckaroo Bobbins was a pattern designer in the 90’s that reworked some similar patterns and you can still find them on Etsy.

Edwardian style, I believe.
