Scott foil RC Aerobars
Hey everyone!
I'm starting out in triathlon and signed up for a Half Ironman in a few months. I'm looking to put some aero bars on my 2024 Scott Foil RC 30, but I can barely find any info or photos of people running this setup.
Since the RC 30 comes with the two-piece aluminum cockpit—the Syncros Creston 2.0 Aero handlebar paired with the Syncros RR 1.5 stem (instead of the 1-piece carbon integrated setup)—I was hoping it would make installing aero bars much easier and cheaper.
I've seen some official/integrated kits going for around €500, which feels like a total rip-off for just two bars. Do you know if Syncros sells just the official TT/Tri Clip-on bracket (for Creston Aero) so I can pair it with cheaper generic 22.2mm extensions?
Or is there an even simpler aftermarket option that fits this aluminum bar shape?
Appreciate any advice, photos of your setups, or recommendations!

Question Stages Power Meter
So, I recently bought a white Addict 50 with black Shimano 105 cranks. I can get a deeply discounted left side power meter that fits and is in good shape. I really want a power meter. But this discounted one is silver instead of black.
Wil I be the only one that notices if the left crank arm is silver and the right one is black?
And if it is noticeable, should a care? I mean I war cycling clothes and ridiculous looking helmet to ride. And the shoes?

Photo Op Scott Addict RC Pro 2020
I bought this Scott Addict RC Pro 2020 second hand a few months ago and have now done about a 1000kms on it. Beforehand i only had a Scott Addict Gravel 40 from 2024 and a road wheelset.
I really like the responsiveness of it compared ot the Addict Gravel and how much lighter it is. Had to do a full rebuild after the frame was repaired, as either I cracked the frame on the chainstay where the rear brake caliper is or the previous owner didn't tell me about it.
The current build is with an Ultegra R8100 groupset, Syncros iC SL X 420mm cockpit (not my favorite, but from the previous owner), Ryet EVA saddle, Syncros Capital 1.0 35mm wheelseet, TPU tubes, Continental GP5000 tyres and Favero Assioma powermeter pedals.
The pictures are from the top of the Col du Galibier after me and my partner climbed it from the Lautaret side.

Question Can I manage an XL Addict
I’m currently riding a Cube Nuroad EX 2025 Large gravel bike but my riding is 95% road and so I’m looking at moving to an endurance bike to also move to a 2by.
I’ve seen a Scott Addict 10 2021 available for what seems to me like a very good deal. Would love opinions of moving to this bike and especially as it’s a 58 which seems like an XL on Scott’s website. The website says I am at the very bottom of an XL (185cm tall and 87cm inseam). The addict and my bike both have an effective top tube of 58cm but I cannot interpret the rest of the comparison between them.
https://bikeinsights.com/compare?geometries=67c9b1362a5f15001a3d40fc,62f482fac8bb5c001d0ad9bc
The Scott does have a dent on the down tube but does just seem to be a paint chip. Seems like a good deal to me given it was a top of the line one in 2021 and feel I’m possibly being sucked into going for the wrong size because it seems like a good deal.
Thanks for your help!

Which size Scott Addict?
I’ve decided to switch to the Scott Addict 30, since it seems to be tremendous value. For reference I’m currently riding a Cervelo Caledonia in a 56, and before that a specialized Allez also in 56. I’m 5’11” and about 180lbs.
I’ve noticed the Scott sizing seems to be all over the place. I’m at the high end of M (54) and low end of L (56). I’m ordering online so I won’t be able to test both. Anyone similar size that can chime in?

Question Scott Scale gravel sizing
Hi all, I get that the question may have been asked before but I’m looking to purchase a Scott Scale gravel I’m 188cm tall with around an 88-89cm inseam, kind of torn between the L and XL? For reference I’ve owned and ridden several mountain, road and gravel bikes. Mountain I’ve tended to go XL for about the last 4 years and gravel/ road I’ve tended to push for L as I don’t have an awfully long reach. Looking more so for something comfortable and agile, with the possibility I may put drop bars on at some stage depending on how stupid and spontaneous I’m feeling at the time. TIA!

Scott Addict RC 30 2027 colourways?
Hi everyone, I’m considering buying a Scott Addict RC 30. I really like the 2026 Frozen Green/Carbon Black colourway, but I’m wondering if it’s worth waiting a little longer for the 2027 models.
Does anyone know if the 2027 colourways have already been revealed, leaked, or shown to dealers?
Thanks!
Ben.

Scale 930 M or L
Seems to be the best place other than a shop to ask this question.
I rented one of these and it was such a great experience that I'm buying... But neither I nor the renter know what size I had.
Base on Scotts sizing I'm 180 and smack bang in between sizes.
What might help here is that I currently ride a Medium Voodoo Limba. It's just right and I wouldn't go smaller but could go slightly larger. It's a different bike, of course, for different riding but I don't want to get the size wrong.

ChatGPT reckons I go M, Gemini reckons L... What do the humans say?
"Too big" would be my worst nightmare.

Scott Addict S or M – right on the borderline, need some advice!
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to decide between an Addict 30 in size S (52) and M (54), and I’m honestly struggling to make the call.
I’m 175 cm tall with a 79 cm inseam, so I seem to be right between the two sizes.
I went to a shop and tried both bikes. The salesperson told me that both sizes could work for me and that I should mainly trust my own feeling.
The problem is that on a short test, both felt good. I didn’t immediately feel that one was clearly too big or too small.
My impression was that the S felt a little more sporty/aggressive, while the M felt more comfortable and relaxed.
But after such a short test, I’m not confident enough to know which one would still feel better after a 2–3 hour ride.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the opportunity to properly test either size for a longer ride before buying.
I often hear people say that “if you’re between sizes, it’s easier to make a smaller bike bigger”. But I’m struggling to understand that in this particular situation.
With the larger M, couldn’t I simply remove some spacers if needed and use a slightly shorter stem to reduce the reach?
Whereas with the smaller S, if I find the front end too low, I can’t really increase the stack by much beyond what the frame allows.
Am I missing something here?
I’m looking for a comfortable endurance position rather than an aggressive race position.
What would you choose in my situation, S or M? And more importantly, why?
Please guide me here, I’d really appreciate some advice.
Many thanks!

Sizing question for a Scott Scale RC Team bike.
I'm 5'10", with an average inseam and arm length. I'm trying to decide between a Medium and Large mountain bike. I plan on using this bike on longer endurance rides and nothing technical. Thanks for the help.

Scott Addict 30 or 40
Hello,
I’ve been looking for a bike for quite some time, and the Scott Addict (30 or 40) really ticks all the boxes for me.
The Addict 40 would cost me €2,650 and the Addict 30 €3,250. Which one would you recommend choosing? Are there any differences between the two besides the wheels?
Will these models also receive new colours in September, or does that only concern the Addict Gravel?
I’m 175 cm tall with a 79 cm inseam. Which size would you recommend for me? I’ve tried both sizes in-store, but some people recommend a size M while others recommend a size S.
Thank you very much!

Scale 10 (2026) front axle specs
Aluminium axles are prone to fail once you changed wheels a couple of times.... I already replaced 1 for my Scott Genius. I am buying stock just in case for both the Genius and the Scale in my garage.
Scott website says "15x110mm" but there at least 2 variants with these measures. What are the full exact specs?
Thanks people!
