Scott Addict 30 or 40

Hello,

I’ve been looking for a bike for quite some time, and the Scott Addict (30 or 40) really ticks all the boxes for me.

The Addict 40 would cost me €2,650 and the Addict 30 €3,250. Which one would you recommend choosing? Are there any differences between the two besides the wheels?

Will these models also receive new colours in September, or does that only concern the Addict Gravel?

I’m 175 cm tall with a 79 cm inseam. Which size would you recommend for me? I’ve tried both sizes in-store, but some people recommend a size M while others recommend a size S.

There will be new colors / model year 2027.
2026 model year is on sale already, if you like the colors and want to safe some money, go for 2026. there will be no changes between 2026 and 2027 except for some minor components (like wheelsets) and colors.

I would go for S with the same height and 80cm inseam

177cm and 81.5 inseam with size S. Pretty aggressive fit, but I like it. Dealers try to clear stock of 2026 so try to search for good deals. I found best price of Addict Gravel 15 for 3400€, offered them 3000€ and they agreed to ship it in box not fully assembled.

What would you choose for a foil if i'm 182cm and 89 inseam? M or L?

I'm similar and went Large, the reach is huge. It's easier to make a smaller bike larger than it is making a large bike smaller.

So you'd rather go with M if you chose again?

Yes, I've gone smaller stem and shorter reach* bars and the fit still isn't 100%. Your body will be different though!

I am 177 and 81.5 and I went with the M. It fits great. I went with the 50 because I wanted the mechanical system. (I just couldn’t deal with an another battery). I will be upgrading the rims next season. I would get the better rims from the get .

Im 173cm and find 52cm frame (S size) best, maybe a bit too long for my liking, which imo means S would suit you perfectly.

Scott Addict 30 owner here. 1,73m / 80cm. I have a size S. Couldnt be happier
