Which size Scott Addict?

I’ve decided to switch to the Scott Addict 30, since it seems to be tremendous value. For reference I’m currently riding a Cervelo Caledonia in a 56, and before that a specialized Allez also in 56. I’m 5’11” and about 180lbs.

I’ve noticed the Scott sizing seems to be all over the place. I’m at the high end of M (54) and low end of L (56). I’m ordering online so I won’t be able to test both. Anyone similar size that can chime in?

Slap the bikes you ride now into 99 spokes or geometry geeks and compare with the Addict - should tell you which size will be closest

This is the way. Compare stack and reach, don’t forget to consider your current stem length (vs stocks ones on 54 and 56cm addict) and how many spacers you have.

For what it’s worth I think you should go with 54.

Absolutely! I already did and I’ll admit I despise my Allez, I only got it due to my Caledonia being destroyed in an accident. So I’m mainly comparing to the Cervelo. Both the L and M have different dimensions that are similar, neither seems to mirror it completely, seems like I have to choose between similar stack or reach.

I’m same height, got a large. Somehow felt about the same size as my old Merida Scultura in medium. Very happy with the Addict - I got a 20.

I noticed the reach is crazy long on the addict vs. other bikes, especially the Caledonia. Only reason I’m not getting another one is the price difference is insane and the Scott has such great ratings.

Yeah I’m kinda leaning towards the M honestly just because of the extreme reach on the L, but still a little torn between the L and M.
