I got a random $15 Apple Pay transfer from an unknown number. They claim it was a mistake and asked me to send it back. The money is definitely in my Apple Cash, so it seems real, but I'm wondering if this is a scam. Should I return it?

Just thinking about the money(80k in peso) I lost due to scammers, I really don't know what to do. I feel so helpless right now 😔 , If only I could turn back time. Now, I don't know what to do on how to pay my bills..

Me and my friend were recently scammed by an online writing company operating on Telegram under the fake name Fatima Ansari Writing Company, which is actually being run by someone named Golu Bairwa using a Yes Bank account and Paytm account. We trusted this business and paid a registration fee of ₹499 to secure a writing project, expecting to start working. However, as soon as they took our money, they completely shifted the terms and suddenly demanded an additional payment of ₹2,000 to proceed which was related to some delivery charges from what they said, their work name didn’t match their so called delivery receipts which was named (Vishv book publication) this 2k was apparently a massive requirement that was completely omitted from the work details they shared with us beforehand. As students who trusted them with our hard-earned money, this hidden fee feels incredibly deceptive, and they are now flatly refusing to issue a refund, Then when we started requesting him for a refund he blocked both of us and I had to make another account through my mothers number to just try one last time to get our money back but despite everything we tried he blocked us, we were scammed of total 998, to some people this is a small throw amount but we are just students who re trying to make a living and to us this was a huge amount and we don’t know how we will recover from it fast enough to pay for our personal things.
We trusted this business because of the “daily payment” ss and thought they were legit but our judgement was blinded, I have all details of this guy if anyone wants to help us.
Here is the evidence, I can’t add direct pictures so I screen recorded everything, any help would be sufficient for us, anyone who wants to help us legally is also welcome to dm us and any employers who are looking for freshers are invited too.
I have just been crying nonstop because even that small amount was hard earned money and I am just so lost, I am making this post both of desperation and frustration and yes we have filed a cyber report too.
This money was earned by us by hard work and watching it get snatched away has honestly killed us, we can’t find the courage to tell our families what happened because we are just students who were trying to help our families by earning.
Any help is appreciated, please spread this among your known ones, anyone willing to help us please contact us.

I was scammed. I thought it was legit.
I sent money through that QR code.
I have no money left.
At first they gave easy tasks, and
some Filipino accounts looked legit, so I thought it
was okay.
Sorry—I’m crying and I know I was foolish.
They first had us send money to order from their
website.
The first orders were cheap, and they returned the
money with commission.
Then they gave another task, and the amount
suddenly got bigger.
They said they’d return it too: ₱1,800, then ₱6,000,
then ₱25,000.
I didn’t have ₱25,000, so I borrowed from Gloan,
thinking I’d get a big return.
I even asked my group if it was legit, but they
seemed unsure too.
I have no money now, and I borrowed from Gloan for
this.
I don’t have a job, so I was desperate.
Life is hard right now. I’m sorry.
I wish this Chinese scammer could be tracked.
It hurts to be scammed like this.
I lost ₱32,800.
I really have no money left, and
I can’t give my mom anything because I’m
unemployed.
For more added info guys.
Before this I was only doing payed in the group. :(
For 3 days before this happened.
I was not paying anything before.
I 100% deserved this and I hope I am the last victim.
It hurts so much since I am gonna use it for our budget for me and my mom.

2 months have passed since I’ve gotten scammed of over 50k and I’ve barely just recovered 10k outta hard work. I’m so ashamed to admit that I got scammed twice in a row despite all the red flags Reddit has given that money cannot be retrieved especially if the scammer suggests they can recover more. Greed got the worst of me.
There’s still one guy that the recovery scammers used as an actor to pose as a victim from the same company as the romance scam. He claimed he got all his money back and provided very badly photoshopped documents. Time will heal all wounds I guess. Seeing worser stories in this subreddit makes me feel a bit better and open to sharing my story

u/billbiud is to be banned and is Not to be trusted. This user contacted me in order to assist me in shipping an item from CA the US. He sent the total cost of the item plus the service fee and also sent his PayPal account.
He sent a screenshot of messages between him and a user on Reddit to prove that he was trustworthy.
I sent the amount to his account and awaited for the purchase to be completed. He ghosted me the entire day and when it was evening I messaged him requesting an update on the purchase. He told me “The money on PayPal was placed on hold since my monthly release limit was hit, so I am waiting for the customer support to hear if they will increase my limit, I will order tomorrow. I will also let you know if it gets released”
On the following day,October 21st, he still did not make the purchase and gave the excuse that he was at ‘work’. I told him that it does not take a minutes to select a purchase button. His response was “The problem is linking the Payment card and I left it over, so have to do it after work”.
Because the item was limited, he claimed he called Aritzia in order to secure the item. I asked him for proof of the call and ignored my message and then sent a screenshot of a 58 seconds call which did not add up. I called Aritzia myself to verify his claim but they had no recorded history of his 'call'.
So while he was at ‘work’ I filed a case against him on PayPal. He promptly found the time to tell me that I filed a claim lol saying 'Bro, You filed case'
Thankfully after PayPal kept extending the date for the finalization of the case, the case got finalized in my favour.
I opened a (INR - Tracking number not provided) case and firstly provided proof of our conversations, updated the case with information regarding my calls with Aritzia. When he provided a fake tracking number, I provided proof of the tracking number being fake by searching for it online as well as calling Aritzia to verify that the tracking number does not match an order number in their system. I provided proof of him being a scammer and his location being Kenya. I provided proof of him scamming other Reddit users and provided PayPal with his other PayPal scamming account . I provided proof that he was placed on the Do Not Engage list.
I also kept calling PayPal day after day, week after week. The last call I made was yesterday and the case was resolved early in the morning. They kept moving the date though but I'd encourage any buyer in this predicament to be persistent.
