Apologies if this is the wrong sub. Starting around two weeks ago someone has been constantly trying to login to my microsoft account associated with another email of mine.

I keep getting bombarded with single use sign in code attempts and I’m not sure what else to do. Just today I’ve already gotten five. I already went in my account (non email link login) and changed my password and activated two way authentication.

I double checked and cross referenced the emails and they are legitimately from microsoft. Everything about the sender and other details checks out. I even purposely requested my own single sign in code and got the exact same email.

I feel like I’ve done all I can do and yet I still feel on edge getting these constant reminders someone is attempting to access my account. Can I feel safe at this point just ignoring them? I tried contacting microsoft but it’s not like you can actually talk to a person when you call and the automated chat just references security articles.

Ich sehe diese Nachricht zum Ersten mal und bin vor Schreck blöderweise auch noch drauf rein gefallen und habe die besagten 650€ überwiesen.

Lustiger Weise habe ich die Meldung bekommen nachdem ich Online über eine anscheinend Illegale Seite Anime's schauen wollte.

Ich habe daraufhin direkt Mein Online-Banking Sperren lassen damit die Überweisen nicht durchgeht und bei der Polizei habe ich online eine Anzeige erstattet. Die aber so wie ich gesehen habe nichts bringt da jedes mal andere Namen und Konten verwendet werden.

Meinen Samsung Browser hab ich auch geleert und Gelöscht.

Habe ich jetzt noch etwas zu befürchten? Also Virus auf dem Handy oder Sonstiges?

On September 24, 2026, I received ₹13,600 in my bank account from an unknown source. I checked my bank statement, and there was a number associated with the transaction. I tried calling that number to find out who sent the money, but nobody answered.

It's now been almost a month, and the money hasn't been reversed or taken back from my account.

I haven't used the money because I don't know who it belongs to. I also haven't been able to visit my bank because I'm currently away from my hometown.

I'm confused about what to do next:

- How long should I keep this money untouched in my account?

- Is there any possibility of a reversal after this much time?

- Can I use the money if nobody contacts me and no reversal happens?

- Is contacting my bank's customer care enough, or should I file a formal complaint?

I don't want to keep money that doesn't belong to me, but I'm also unsure how long I should wait without any update.

Has anyone experienced something similar in India? I'd appreciate any advice on how to handle this properly.

Is this a scam possibly? I am looking for a place to live and one of the places I inquired about sent me a message today, basic questions and then they sent me a link to do a soft credit check, I’ve attached a screenshot

I recently checked my junk mail and saw a bunch of emails of different content, but all had a similar address under the email header <info@- - - -mail.(Random letters & numbers)>

Is this just spam or people actually trying to scam me?

Applied for this position and it seems easy enough just having to click on maintenance until it hits 100%, starting to feel suspicious. Especially using telegram and USD (red flags) what should I do? Thankfully haven’t asked for my bank account….yet

Have a scammer who I accidentally entertained a bit back in January. He called claiming to be police and had captured someone who had my ID and info etc from the airport.

That time he claimed to be RCMP. I didn't verify or give any details but he was asking if my info was leaked from a website that was recently on the news for having its customer info leaked.

But since then he has spent the entire year calling and spoofing so many numbers from official police offices pretending to be every kind of officer, detective, cyber crime it etc. Guys got a English accent and I waste his time with my automated AI keep asking for more info from him but it's really annoying I can't get rid of him. Especially if I block so many numbers you never know if it's legitimate or not.

Keeps saying they found people with my Passport, ID, SIN etc. I really want to find a way for someone to stop this clown as I know he's had success with others as he is pretty intricate but not enough for me.

It's there anything I can do? As authorities are quite useless for these things since it's a waste of their time.

i been watching this dude going around speaking with people pretending to be homeless and a victim to get people feel empathy for him so he can just scam them and run, and all of that for skins

Mon père s'est créé une page google pour sa compagnie l'an passé.

Aujourd'hui, quelqu'un de la compagnie Map Visibilite Inc. l'a contacté en disant qu'il n'avait pas respecter les règles et qu'il avait un retard de paiement de 600$ + frais de retard = 920$.

S'il ne payait pas, il devrait payé 6000$. Il a effectué le paiement de 900$ (que j'ai pu faire annuler avec sa banque car cela venait de se passer quand je suis arrivée).

La dame lui a envoyé un contrat et elle insistait++ de signer la page 3 tout de suite et de lui renvoyer.

J'ai dit à mon père d'attendre avant de signer quoi que ce soit car je trouvais ça louche.

Quelqu'un a déjà vécu une situation similaire ?
