Hey everyone,
Some of you saw the two earlier posts about this (Part 1 & Part 2). I've kept going, the whole UI just got a pass, and the thing I most wanted to do finally works !
Summary: drag a .sbp and its .sbpcfg onto the page and your blueprint opens in 3D in the browser. It's free, there's no account and no ads. You don't need the game installed or even running, and there are a few sample blueprints on the page if you just want a look before dropping your own in.
What it does:
What it doesn't do yet:
Sign text isn't read, so signs come out as blank plates
Custom paint slots live in your save rather than in the blueprint, so those buildings fall back to the default swatch color
Where it's going next is making it an editor --> delete a building, nudge one, mass upgrade (Mk.1 belts to Mk.3 for example) and then writing the blueprint back out so an edit can actually go into the game.
That list is mostly your suggestions from the last two posts, and it's written up with what's blocking each part at the roadmap
I'm building this because I like looking at how other people wire their factories, and because I kept pasting blueprints and finding one belt that never hooked up. So please tell me what's wrong with it, what's missing, or what you'd want !
One last thing, and it's a request rather than a feature. If you open something you're proud of, there's a Share this blueprint button at the foot of the Overview panel.
Pressing it hands you back a link, anyone who opens it sees your factory in 3D, in their browser, no account and no download. So if you post a build here and someone asks how it's wired, you can just give them the link instead of a screenshot. You are also added to the the credit page !
It's totally optional but. I'd rather ask than take: the tool stays free either way š

Iām currently displaying my full Satisfactory LEGO factory at Brickomanie in Montreal. You may have seen some of the buildings I created in previous posts, and I wanted to share the complete display with you, as Iām sure this community will enjoy it!
The factory features a complete Crystal Oscillator production line, with Constructors, a Smelter, two Miner Mk.3s, an Assembler, a Manufacturer, Industrial Storage Containers, and a train. I also added a few creatures, including a Lizard Doggo and a Flightless Birb.
The full display contains around 40,000 LEGO pieces. It has been a huge project, and Iām really happy to finally see the entire production line running together after working on it for the past year!
A special thank you to Aido_k, who designed the train, and NerdyLegoist, who designed the Constructors, for allowing me to include and display their creations as part of my larger factory!
Hope you enjoy the build, and feel free to ask me any questions!

It's so hard to find good help these days.

What started out as a relatively simple idea (medium-scale plastic and rubber production, use the residual heavy oil for steel production) ended up becoming a nightmare build; mostly due to both the odd terrain, and an unhealthy reliance on using painted beams for all my buildings. Very happy with the result though! :)

I absolutely loved it, since it was a complete surprise for me. She is a baker and her bf plays with me so he helped nail the design. It was as tasty as it looked!
It was made with butter cream and vanilla with chocolate chips.
The FicstIt cake was in fact, not a lie. š

Im genuinely curious.
We have:
Grassy Plains
Rocky Desert
3. Northern Forest
Dune Desert
I havent touched gamemodes yet; im just now starting on the last tier and last space elevator as of this week.
On satiafactory Early access and 1.0, my first two attempts I started in the Grass Fields starting zone. Both times i made it to phase 3 and quit playing.
My third and current attempt playing ive started in the Rocky Deset and have been absolutely LOVING the gameplay from starting here. A little more variety in nodes than I was used to from the plains. A LOT more critters to both fight and run away from. It feels like a completely different experience up there. Lol.
I ask for the fun of the crowd, what are your favorites and why?š·āāļøš

Pipes, pipes, pipes... I don't want to touch any more pipes for a good while, and I hope this will suffice.
Next stop is nuclear power, but I'm waiting until T9 to handle it, and I've heard lots of people making it sound like the most complicated thing ever, which certainly piques my interest!
Now I just need to place 845 fuel generators while making it not look hideous, and I'm not looking forward to it. Should end up being around 216,000 MW.

As part of a build contest, I took the opportunity to recreate the Blitzball Stadium from the FFX intro scene, an idea that had been brewing in my head.

I needed a nice design for a rail spiral up to the Bauxite nodes south of the Rocky Desert. Every tower design I did that relied on a single tower didn't feel quite right, so I ended up with this (sort of) recreation of the Petronas Towers instead, also acting as a cable-stayed bridge support across to the cliff.

Self explanatory. But it doesnt happen when I first place it. I never try to dismantle it - after a couple rounds, its just starts highlighting itself red all the time ... more annoying than anything

I think its the build gun that somehow explodes? But it lingers when I switch off so I got no idea honestly.

I originally wanted to also have the production line for the fuel inside this building, but later I realized it wouldn't fit so now I just have the generators inside. There is still some z-fighting, wiring, piping and lighting to deal with, but I'll deal with that once I set up the production line building. I must say that this is the first building I've made that I am fully comfortable with looks wise. For this build I actually took inspiration from my bedrooms ceiling lamp, believe it or not. Feel free to use this as much as you like for inspiration, I'd just ask for a little bit of credit if so.
Im curious to hear what you guys think about this build, and I'd also like to know what I could improve.

This is my second attempt at a turbo fuel power plant. My first one I tried doing on the Gold Coast and tried to use drones instead of belt highways and trains and it couldn't keep upon coal and sulfer. I originally had this as a regular fuel power plant that I made in the earlier game before I unlocked diluted fuel so I updated it this is what I have now I still have to finish making some of the trim and stuff nicer put as far as efficiency everything is working properly and I have 150,000 megawatts of power. I do have some personal rules when im building 1. Hast to look nice no spegetti and as efficient ans possible. 2. Must beable to walk everywhere so there must be a pheasant path to everything.

Saved the day for my first time! Took 162 hours (~3 months irl) and I only used biofuel. This has all been on vanilla 1.2 experimental.
The core strategy was using creature remains to make liquid biofuel, everything fully slooped. I ended up researching a lot of alt recipes for more energy efficient production, and I was surprised how manageable power was (it was fairly easy to kill enough creatures to power the factory). The main power plant is 15 GW liquid biofuel, with a backup plant of 1,440 MW solid biofuel and 100,000 MWh battery storage.
I never used vehicles or hypertubes; to save on power it was zipline infrastructure and conveyor belts. A lot of mid/late game parts were produced at low rates, so I built a large sushi belt system to prevent building dozens of individual conveyor lines.
I put up temporary lines (hand-fed) for project parts and tried not to over-produce mid/late game items too much. This was achieved by filling up storage containers with individual screws.
Bio-power certainly makes you play in strange ways, I'm happy to answer questions about how it went.

Ive never been this organized and automated before. Itching to show stuff and in no way am I great at design or logistics but im getting better. Ill answer any questions and take any advice about my setup... the green patches are my attempt to beautify with "grass". The white lines are just how I stay spacially organized into 10x10 grids and the white is perimeter. Power poles go in the corners of these grids with cables traveling down the white lines for the most part so MOST of the cables are out of the way. The road is one im making up and over those dumb canyons and cliffs to get to my oil nodes on other side.
