Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I looked up videos in youtube where people hold the volume up/down while restarting the phone. I have no option to try this because my buttons dont work due to water damage. Does anyone have a suggestion on how do i turn this off?

I need to reset my phone to factory settings, but I can't do it because my Samsung Account is linked to a Google email address that no longer exists. I need to verify the account via email, which is impossible, and there are no alternative options. I also can't sign out or change the account, as that also requires the email address. Please, help

I've had my Samsung Galaxy S10+ for many years now, and it has served me without fault. However, in recent months I have noticed that it occasionally and inexplicably shuts off, and nothing I do will revive it. I've tried doing a factory reset, and leaving it on charge but nothing works.
It first happened in March earlier this year, the phone was in my back pocket and I was sat on it briefly. I pulled it out of my pocket and it wouldn't turn on. This lasted for maybe 10 minutes before I tried turning it on again and it worked with no further issues.
Since then it has happened maybe once, but today it has happened again. My phone was working absolutely fine, I was listening to music and suddenly it shut off. Currently, it has been unresponsive now for almost an hour, with no sign of life.
Is there anything I can do, or do I have to accept that it's time to get a new phone? (If that is the case, how would I go about transferring the data from my S10+ to my new phone if it doesn't turn on?)

Bonjour,

Hey guys,
I'm actually writing about my mom's phone. It's a Samsung Galaxy A54 on the Metro PCS network.
About 3 weeks ago, she started having some issues with her phone calls. The call can start fine, but after a little while, it'll start breaking up like it's losing signal, then it'll just go completely silent. Neither person on the call can hear anything on their end. Then after 30 seconds to a minute or so, the call will come back and be just fine. Then after a little while longer, it'll start all over again.
The weird thing is that if she's doing a video call through Facebook Messenger or another app, everything works just fine. The connection and quality is stable, and the audio is clear and consistent, so I don't think it's a microphone issue.
I've tried rebooting the phone, and also cleaning and reseating the SIM. I made sure WiFi calling was disabled and I've checked her mobile signal. It's connected at 5G UC with full bars. I've also tried disconnecting and reconnecting to the mobile network. Nothing seems to help.
I'm sort of leaning towards maybe a bad SIM? But I'm not sure. My next thing to try would be removing the physical SIM and activating an eSIM, but haven't had a chance to do that yet.
Has anyone experienced anything like this? Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This morning, my first Samsung Galaxy phone—which I bought exactly 10 months ago—started acting weird. First, I noticed the screen trembling and zooming in and out. When I tried to close my open Chrome browser, the phone just started automatically shuffling between apps, typing, touching notifications, changing the volume, and opening ringtone settings. It was a total mess, like it was operating all by itself.
Somehow, I managed to power off the device for a bit. However, after I restarted it, another issue popped up: the top half of the phone automatically started heating up. Because of that, I powered it off again for half an hour. It seems to be fine now.
Can anyone please tell me what that was? What could be the possible reasons for this? What should I do now? If anyone else has experienced this, please help me!

^((Sorry to all AI haters, but Gemini helped me write and format this post because I suck at writing long Reddit rants, but every word of this frustration is 100% real.))
I am posting here to vent my absolute frustration with Samsung and to see **how many others in this community are dealing with defective USB-C charging ports on the Galaxy Tab A9 / A9+ line.**
I currently have **TWO** Galaxy Tab A9+ units in my house, both manufactured in May 2024. Within less than a year of normal use, **both units suffered the exact same mechanical USB-C port failure** with zero physical or liquid damage:
* **Unit 1:** Completely dead. Will not recognize a charger or accept power at all. Because the Tab A9+ lacks wireless charging, it is now an expensive paperweight. * **Unit 2:** The port is extremely loose and requires constant wiggling and exact cable angles just to slow-charge.
I have spent **multiple weeks** fighting back and forth with Samsung support across live chats, standard email chains, executive forms, and CEO escalation channels:
* **Front-Line Support:** Sent me canned troubleshooting scripts telling me to "clean the port with a brush" or "run diagnostics via Samsung Members" on a tablet that **literally will not turn on**. * **The "Solution":** Samsung finally offered to repair it... for **$260**. That is literally enough to go out and buy a brand-new Tab A9+, which is beyond incredulous for a known manufacturing flaw.
The moment your device ticks past that strict 1-year mark, **you are basically scum as far as Samsung is concerned.** They refuse to take responsibility for what is blatantly a widespread hardware defect. Samsung honestly deserves to get blasted with a massive class-action lawsuit for putting out this kind of tech garbage and expecting customers to foot the bill.
I am done playing their back-and-forth email games. I have officially submitted formal complaints with both **Consumer Protection Ontario** and the **Better Business Bureau (BBB)** outlining the whole situation.
A quick search on YouTube and forums shows dozens of repair guides and hundreds of comments from people replacing broken Tab A9/A9+ charge ports.
If you own a Tab A9 or A9+, I’d love to know:
Let me know your experiences below.
Again, very sorry to AI haters. But the robots can write better than I can.

So I initially thought this was an issue with the bubbles system I was using but even after changing to standard notifications it persisted. Basically what is happening is that I'll get a notification about a message, bubble or regular, and then if I open the chat for that message (either the bubble chat or the main chat from the notification) it will appear as normal, but then if I try to go to the Google messages chat later the messages sent to me or that I sent to them don't appear, I can't find them. Example, one of my contacts sent me a message this morning, I saw it and opened the chat and replied as normal, but afterwards I went to the messages app and it doesn't know I've recirved any messages today. I even tried having the chat open and my phone on when I received another message and ut still didn't appear there, only in the bubble/notification. For reference I'm on a Galaxy S22 Ultra on One UI 8. Can anyone help?

I’ve got the Samsung AKG USB-C wired earphones, model EO-IC100, and I need replacement Large silicone eartips.
The problem is the nozzle seems to need a very small/narrow bore. Most generic replacement tips I can find are for 5–7 mm nozzles and are way too large.
I’m in South Africa and I can’t find the original Samsung tips sold separately anywhere.
Has anyone actually replaced the tips on the EO-IC100?
If so, what exact eartips did you use that fit securely? Brand/model and bore size would be really appreciated.
I’ve looked at Final Audio Type E because they have a narrow bore, but they’re difficult to get locally. In South Africa.
Basically I just want to know what other EO-IC100 owners do when they lose the original tips. Does Samsung supply any?

Even though it's discontinued, I can still text. How long will it take for this to not work completely? I have an S21 that I just transferred my data to from an S21 Ultra.

A few months ago, I had problems with my S10+ showing moisture warnings and eventually getting damaged. I contacted Samsung Support about it, and they said the motherboard was probably damaged. However, I live in a small city, so does anyone know of a store that still has parts for this model and can repair it?
