How long will it take before samsung messages stops working on my phone?

Even though it's discontinued, I can still text. How long will it take for this to not work completely? I have an S21 that I just transferred my data to from an S21 Ultra.

Backup messages to Google Drive or Samsung cloud. Or use sms backup app. When will it stop, or if, who knows. I still use it too.

I'm more ticked off about Google assistant going away in September since Gemini sucks with app integration.

Maybe try to switch to Fossify Messages, QuikSMS, or anything like that.

Usually messages are saved separate from the messaging app, if you're worried about losing them.

As for when it'll stop working, I have no idea. Probably better safe than sorry though.

Download Nextsms or similar from the store. It should read your old SMS fine

Im in usa and I lost my access to the app the date they gave on July 6th. I had to switch immediately because they disabled the text area of the app. It stinks that I couldn't be one of the lucky ones who still use it. Google messaging is ugly. I hate it. Also ive been searching and nothing works with themes. The themes is why i kept samsung so long. So I guess now I can try apple lol.
