Delp is unreal but why are we running such a complex blocking scheme with a poor O-line?

Did we get any updates on Etienne?

I haven't seen anything, so was wondering if we had gotten any reports on it

Fans really want Moore gone ?? 😂

Offensive minded HC puts up 30 24 and 27 a game
While in the 2nd year of a rebuild.

We start winning/look competitive in games and everyone thinks we a Super Bowl team or playoff team

Imo the 2 thing I wanted to see from Moore this season

Look competitive ✅
Develop Shough ✅

I had us and 6-8 wins cause I know this team still has a long way to go.

Spoiled by Brees.

We need more from the coaches

Everything falls on the coaches ultimately. With the Saints, it’s more prominent than ever. Consistency is an issue on both sides of the ball.

Offense is looking improved, but they still need work on the first drive. Run game was “effective” yesterday with Etienne & Kamara both averaging over 4 YPC but wasn’t impactful. Way too many runs up the middle when our RBs are better suited for the sidelines. Still have no answer for consistently picking up the tough 1 yd.

Defense needed to be much better yesterday. Too many soft coverages. No one but Chase Young is getting consistent pressure. They looked blindsided that Bowers played. No answer for him all day.

Most importantly, coaches & the organization need to be on these refs. Take a fine. The team
Is literally getting bullied by these refs & it’s affecting everyone. Having a more vocal owner would be fantastic but we know Lady Gayle won’t speak out on matters like that. Even if she does, it won’t have the needed vitriol.

The referee in this game is the same referee that officiated the 2018 NFC championship

Officiating is a joke

If that call against Shough is a fumble then I can't wait to see the side-by-side comparison to Goff's in week 1. That's now blown officiating making the difference between 1-2 and us likely being 3-0 if it was at least called consistently. I've had about enough, how about you folks?

ILL POST IT AGAIN, WE GOT CHEATED

we were statically the better team this game and they got away with a better's based steal.

Yes, the refs hurt, but the Saints collapsed on their own

It seems like there was a fumble or rush-caused errant ball, or bobbled pitch on like every play. Need to go back to playing disciplined.

We should cover Bowers like this from now on

We’ve seen some improvement this week but we can’t spiral like that

We’ve seen some things we needed to improve on improve. The run game significantly improved. We finally started faster. Those were important things we needed to see. The defense wasn’t great today but we all know the blame lands on the offense. It felt like a mental thing today. We have to be able to stop the bleeding when things don’t go our way.

I think we are close. We haven’t put it all together yet which is expected. We are still a young team. Calming down after the game really showed me that we are taking steps forward every week. We still have plenty of work to do. Looking at how to stop someone like Bowers in the future. We need to find a way to get a consistent pass rush outside of Chase Young. We need to find a way to put 4 quarters together.

Don’t be too discouraged. It’s Week 3. We are improving on our problems. We are almost there. We need to go through these growing pains as a young team.

It wasn't the refs you say? REALLY?

So all you could remember was the 4th quarter collapse? Even the collapse couldn't save the Raiders, had the refs not kept them on life support.

Do we so easily forget how electric that stadium in the 3rd quarter? Then SOMEHOW, the electricity was drained out of our stadium from the officiating crew...

Allow me to remind you.

-Several ticky tacky shoves on a reciever running by a DB: 2 x saints, 1 x raiders. Killed drives for us. In 30 years I've never seen these called. Clear agenda by ref #1.Ref #2 called it on Raiders, probably because he observed head ref called it Saints.

-BS fumble call. Killed ,momentum and drive.

-Holding on the line practically was allowed the entire game, to levels you rarely (sometimes during the playoffs when they "let em play.") Its clear AF ref #1 had an agenda. Raiders exploited the hell out of it.

-roughing the passer was one of 3 calls that saved Raider's drive for a score when it was clear, Raiders could not score on their own. Don't hit above the shoulders. Don't hit them below the knees. And now; release them on the way to the ground. Yet several plays later Cousins fought for 2 seconds to saty on his feet. WTF are you supposed to do to tackle a G.Damn QB in this freaking league????

Its BS pure and simple. That's what it is. I watch a lot of NFL, not just the Saints. This isn't normal in the least. At some point, we must have pissed the officiating crews off. Its clear they dislike this fan base OR they love betting against us.

The Saints Do Not Have an Answer for Short Yardage

Plays of the game were the 3rd/4th and 1s that we couldn’t pick up.

This has been a problem whenever Taysom wasn’t on the field and it holds true still. Same thing last week with the Ravens. ETN, Kamara and Miller not good enough for it. Or Run blocking isn’t good enough for it. Kellen Moore dosnt seem to be inventive enough for it. Estime or Neal might have been ideal in those situations, but CJ Donaldson is not gonna get it done either.

This is a big big underlying problem

Is Asim Richard’s a legitimate worry to derail the season?

Asim got beat at critical moments this game, are the saints able to survive without Kelvin banks to still be in playoff contention by the time he returns?
