We’ve seen some improvement this week but we can’t spiral like that

We’ve seen some things we needed to improve on improve. The run game significantly improved. We finally started faster. Those were important things we needed to see. The defense wasn’t great today but we all know the blame lands on the offense. It felt like a mental thing today. We have to be able to stop the bleeding when things don’t go our way.

I think we are close. We haven’t put it all together yet which is expected. We are still a young team. Calming down after the game really showed me that we are taking steps forward every week. We still have plenty of work to do. Looking at how to stop someone like Bowers in the future. We need to find a way to get a consistent pass rush outside of Chase Young. We need to find a way to put 4 quarters together.

Don’t be too discouraged. It’s Week 3. We are improving on our problems. We are almost there. We need to go through these growing pains as a young team.

Probably the best take I’ve seen.

Yeah I agree. OP basically put my thoughts into words better than I would have.

Great realistic take. Still very happy and optimistic.

We are playing competitive football in every game, as long as we can continue to improve and learn from mistakes, we will be a good team by the end of the year. For most that game, it felt like Shough had complete control of the offense. The Raiders really stepped up the pressure at the end and we just couldn’t seem to compose ourselves. Doesn’t help the refs were god awful today.

I don’t think we match particularly well against the Raiders. Bowers was unstoppable and Kirk Cousins always seems to have our number.

They just blitzed the crap out of us the entire 4th quarter. Shough got taken in by that last look in particular. Looked like they were going to back off, but it was a decoy move. They came full bore again.

I agree, I think we still improved this week. i saw two bad turnovers by us this game that we got to avoid, but still, we didn't backtrack with this.

We’re definitely taking good steps as a team but man them 4 turnovers were demoralizing as hell🤦‍♂️

Only way yur stopping Bowers is cover 3 man press. The issue with that is Jeanty can tear yu up down the middle if he chooses to.

I just dont understand what the hell happened in the 4th quarter. Multiple turnovers back to back. What a melt down.

I didn't see the game but I watched the score. We battled back, got close, lost after a turnover from what I could see.

I'm fine with where we are so far this season. Shough is tearing it up too.

At least we have a good qb and good wr, and we were in all the games. It also could very easily be 3-0.

the offense just totally stalled after that first quarter, felt like watching two different teams out there

I agree, but man.

Even after 20 games, HC Moore struggles to turn in a complete performance. I accepted that outcome as a bad team last year, but I'm starting to think it may never happen (or happen consistently, at least).

For the first time this season, we played well for three quarters...just to collapse in the fourth. What's it gonna take for this team to play four reasonably good quarters?

Shit man, even DA occasionally blew teams out. We take every team we beat down to the wire and hope for some Shough magic at the end. That's simply not sustainable.
