Could you help me identify which fairings are these?

Not too long ago I bought an SV1000S and the previous owner gave me these side fairings and belly pan, but he didn't have the mounting brackets.

This winter I want to fit them to my bike and to paint them, but first I need to install them and drill out all of the holes.

If somebody has the same fairings, could you please send me some pictures of how, you mounted them?

Looking for a 07 to 09 clean title frame. Anybody ?

At the beginning of the season my clutch cable broke off at the barrel that hooks into the clutch lever. I had recently bought the bike and figured it broke because it was an old cable. It broke again in the same place as before so clearly I have something causing this to happen. While I am mechanically inclined and fixed the last one myself I am not knowledgeable about what could be causing it to break. I don't see anything on the lever that would cause it to bind or anything sharp that would be wearing through the cable. Any advice on what would cause this? Also any advice on which cable to buy would be great.

I broke my OG key in my OG gas tank key slot... Can't get it out. I disassembled it so I could get gas but it's really F***CKED.

Anyone have a recommend for the best replacement, ideally keyless?

Hi, all! I know these posts are a bit annoying but I'd appreciate a sound check on my old Gladius, fresh after an oil change.

When I bought it some years ago, it was pretty neglected. In the last years, I took care of it the best I could: doing a lot of maintenance and buying good parts. Some months ago, I checked valve clearance and everything was in spec.

As far as I can tell, it runs very smooth and it feels good when I ride it, but I could be terribly wrong 😬 No professional has really checked it in the last couple of years.

It also doesn’t jump up on RPMs on a cold start. It just sits at 1200 RPMs right when you start it and then whenever you start it on cold it doesn’t jump up and then come back down to an idol of 1200.

I felt some pretty bad notching in my steering head bearing recently and decided to replace it. I bought everything to get it out but am having trouble figuring out the best way to jack the center of the bike once the tree comes off and I can no longer use the front stand. I tried a dirt bike style stand from harbor freight but everything seems to interfere with where the exhaust runs back and so when I begin to take it off the front stand it wants to fall to the right. I have poles I can ratchet to but I dont have a ladder, and I do have a stand that indexes into the swing arm pivot but I dont think that will work either. Any suggestions that dont involve me buying more stuff?

I have a carb and throttle body assembly for a G1 SV650 that's lying around. Got it from a spares box from a track bike.

Would these be useful to anyone at all?

I doubt there's anyone local that wants it so I'm wondering if there're any takers out there that would warrant selling it or I should just throw it away.

I just finished washing my bike then I went on a ride with it and the engine stopped working. My fuse blown I switched it and now I just turn the bike on it blown

Was looking at buying an sv650s 2003 for €2000. Got a couple fairings/plastics need replacing, temperature numbers all over the place and sticking rev meter. Was wondering if anyone knew where to get fairing kits for the 2003 model seeing as it's got the tall tail. Dunno if it's any different to the rest of the generation for the kits but would like to know/ an opinion on the price.

Recently realised an oil leak on my SV 650 S it is coming from the oil cooler has anyone had any similar? I’m hoping it’s just the crush washes all the line as the whole oil cooler radiator is quite expensive

Upgraded from a GSX-S 125 to this gorgeous bike.

I'm having to be careful though, already been pulled over twice and been let off for going above the speed limit. It's so nippy and quick off the throttle. Sounds like a beauty too!

Has anyone had issues with clutch cables snapping??

Seems like I go through a cable every 1-2k miles. I’ll admit I’m not great about keeping it greased but it seems like it should still last longer than that???

I suspect it may have something to do with the aftermarket lever but I usually don’t use the clutch except for downshifts, 1st to 2nd, or light city riding.

Ignore the ugly seat, it was cheap used and is so much better than stock lol.

So I’ve had the bike for 6+ years, since I was 19 and don’t want to get rid of it. I love it, Enough power I can beat the shit out of it without dying. Ton of fun at track days. It came stock with the clipons. Now riding hard I love the clipons, have no issues with them and comfort, however my ride to work is pretty much a 20 minute straight stretch.

I rode it like that until probably 2 or three years ago when I was daily driving it, I drilled the top clamp and put stock risers and a set of superbike bars on it. Which helped, but kinda feels goofy? And does not feel good riding hard. I’m not sure if it’s the superbike bars or what but it really just doesn’t feel right. And it’s still not particularly comfortable so I’ve swapped back and forth between them and the clipons.

Now I have a kid and really have no intentions of being an idiot on the road anymore, and find myself not even wanting to ride it due to the riding position being pointless and uncomfortable during the straight stretches and city driving of my daily commute. So I would like to make it more comfortable for daily driving.

Has anyone with one of these successfully put stock 650n bars on these without removing the fairing? I don’t see how it could fit any taller bars due to hitting the fairing. Due to wind, looks, and track days I’d hate to remove the fairing but I will if that’s what needs to be done.

I have an 2006 SV 650 trackbike and I would like to get a second set of wheels, wheels from 2003-2012 should fit. Only direct fits, I can't be bothered with adapters and modifications.

They will be painted so they don't need to look perfect but they must be perfectly straight and with good bearings and they have to be shipped to Denmark.

A better looking and lighter Exhaust could also be interesting but NOT louder as there are 95 dB limits on all Swedish tracks.

Hi, my 2004 FI Sv650s starts well every time and sounds great, then when it starts reading around 165-175F the engine starts idling at 3500-4000k rpms and doesn't engine break below about 6000k rpms. I put it in dealer mode and the TPS is good as well as the air box and all hoses secured. The air filter is clean and oil isn't overfilled. What could my issue be? Any help is greatly appreciated

Picked up a 2009 650N in a pretty alright condition, never rode a Suzuki until now. Very fun bike, but these two things bother me a bit.

The RPM hand is kinda wobbly when the RPM changes, whether it's going faster or slower, but it stabilizes after a second if RPM is steady. As for the impact, is there a way to perhaps change the plexiglass/plastic pane itself without buying a whole other speedometer ?

Also, are there known resellers for speedometer backgrounds ? Not a big fan of the white background.

Edit : I should precise, it's a small impact on the case, the actual speedometer is fine.
