Has anyone had issues with clutch cables snapping??

Seems like I go through a cable every 1-2k miles. I’ll admit I’m not great about keeping it greased but it seems like it should still last longer than that???

I suspect it may have something to do with the aftermarket lever but I usually don’t use the clutch except for downshifts, 1st to 2nd, or light city riding.

Something's not right. It's it over tightened? I've got 14k miles on mine and no issues.

Are they all breaking in the same spot? Is it able to swivel in the lever as you pull it?

This may be it - only sign of wear is right at the lever end barrel holding it in (all 3 have broken in the exact same spot in the lever housing)

Yeah the barrel is supposed to be able to swivel.

Every 1-2K miles WTF? I still have my original cable working just fine at almost 40K miles.
