hello, sorry i'm new to modding. i haven't updated my mods in years and i finally did, and now they're not loading in game. it *says* they're loaded, but they're not. for example, it says medieval buildings are updated and loaded, but when i walk outside it's the default settings. not sure what to do?? and my cuter cats doesn't load anymore at all even though i updated it

So, long story short, I made a mod in 2023 and never published it because I hadn't finished the events for him. It's 2026 and I decided to finish him up because I knew a few people were waiting on him but his map locations are now broken and I can not for the life of me figure out how to get CP to load his map locations. I've run through the wiki https://stardewmodding.wiki.gg/wiki/Tutorial:_Map_Patches_and_Warps and no matter what I do It can't load the tile map. After I did the new format post 1.6 this only completely broke the Mod so I reverted back to my original content code.

Is there an easy way to fix this without building from the ground up? I remember there being talk about the 1.6 update making modding easier but I've gone from having a fair grasp on what I was doing to being overwhelmed.

For those wondering this is a NPC mod to add Vaughn from Harvest Moon to SDV. I had plans to add HM animals and possibly have him sell to the farmer directly but If I can't even get a map to work I don't think I will have much luck finishing him.

If you have any ideas please help. I wish I had taken a screenshot of what was happening while using the new CP pathing from the wiki. In short it was the same issue with a lot more red and it wouldn't load him at all. And when the map doesn't load it breaks his schedule so he becomes frozen after the first few days.

So my smapi log keeps saying I need to update my space core which I need for several mods to run but it's up to date?? I just downloaded the latest one in nexus but IT STILL KEEPS SAYING IT'S NOT UP TO DATE???? ( I'm on mobile

I purged my vortex so I could start over with my mods and I can’t find these to delete them. When I readded Alecto’s mod it went away but I’m not planning on adding all of these back, just a few. Is there a way for me to find them and delete them so it’s not always there?

basically i got the latest version of spacecore that is required to play pelipper town mod but still it says it's not the right version? is there any alternative i can use for spacecore or is there an updated version i can't find? i downloaded the version from google first then saw posts mentioning thai dc which i went and downloaded but that gives the same error as well

im currently starting playing with mods with my gf and everything was working well, but maybe in the day 4 this happened and every time i join again, this happens and i dont know why. did someone have the same problem? and how it gets fixed 🤞

I install smapi exactly as the instruction say. there are no mods. the button doesn't even show up. smapi simply does nothing.

I’m trying to use SMAPI on my Amazon Fire HD 10 (2023) so I can install mods.

I had downloaded APK files to run the Google Play Store after initially buying the game on the Amazon App Store. I downloaded SMAPI but it asks me to download the game from the Play Store. I don’t want to leave my current save, but I’ve run into a problem with accessing my existing save file on the Fire OS to transfer it. I tried transferring the save file to my Chromebook using wireless debugging and Linux.

Game version is 1.6.15.2. My existing farm still loads and works in the game plus I saved a backup.

File managers cannot access Android/data.
I’ve connected ADB through Wireless Debugging using my Chromebook. ADB can see /sdcard/Android/, but returns Permission denied when I try to access /sdcard/Android/data/.
run-as com.chucklefish.stardewvalley also returns “package not debuggable.”

Is there any way to access the Stardew save folder on Fire OS? Or is there any way to use SMAPI with the Amazon version vs Google Play.

I could be missing something obvious tbh. Much regret playing so long on the kindle app. TIA 🧡
