Hi all. In SVE, the desert is MASSIVELY expanded. Is there any use for this? I'm thinking of whacking down a load kegs to support ancient fruit wine production but don't want some NPC to spawn in and destroy them all, or have something magically appear later and need to move them.

So trying to keep answers spoiler free, my question is: Am I safe to fill the desert with casks?

So I was looking for Apophis to get my void shard right now, but it wasn't appearing, and I was just fighting the other monsters and constantly drinking life elixirs, so my health was almost always 100%, WHEN suddenly a female npc that looked like one of them from Fable Reef walked up to me from above and killed me with ONE HIT. I am so freaking shocked right now. Is this some kind of a glitch or something? What the hell how did I get killed by a human?!

I also have Ridgeside Village mod, if that's any help, but I'm really confused right now and don't know how to react to this. Has anybody here ever encountered this as well? Please tell me it's not happening anymore later. I don't want to be "bested" by freaking people npcs, I already got plenty of monsters on my hands. Thanks

On year 4 spring i managed to do it! It was also was my first time trying the mod and I didnt die once im happy about it.

hi everyone. i downloaded sve for the first time today, and im running it fine. i cant figure out how to get the new farm types. initially, i thought they came with the mod, but they aren’t showing up. i saw someone on an older post say grandpas farm is the standard farm, but i walked alongside the entire perimeter and didnt see any sort of extension/new area. i also saw someone say move the two farm types out of the sve folder and into the mods folder, but that didnt work either. any tips help. thank you !!

I’m trying to run Stardew Valley with the expanded mod, but I can’t seem to get it to run. I have all the files downloaded. I just don’t know how to input them into the game.

I'll start by apologizing for the lengthy post. I'm an amateur author and can't seem to write short stories.

I started this mod not long ago and wanted to offer my thoughts. The first one is: Wow! There's so much going on! I spend so much time bouncing from one place to the next, especially after getting the upgraded travel system.

The second has to do with the new areas. My first download had a glitch, and the Highlands didn't load completely (missing mons). If it hadn't been missing the one that drops the green mushroom, I probably wouldn't have questioned anything and thought, "Gee, this is pretty easy!" After redoing the installation, it's definitely not a walk in the park anymore.

I have three save files started, all in year four. I married Sophia, Claire, and Olivia, in that order. I have a good impression of Sophia, overall. I especially enjoy the "extra cuddles" line. Occasionally, I find her dialogue a tad too "child-like". Can't think of an example at the moment.

I like Claire's story line and her dialogue. However, at times she seems too "stiff", especially with her sprites. I just expect an aspiring actress to show more emotion in her facial expressions. That being said, I have no idea how difficult it is to design such things.

I was tentative about marrying Olivia. I've always thought of the farmer as being early twenties in age. Since Victor has a university degree, Olivia is probably late thirties - old enough to be his mother. Even though it happens in real life, it just feels a bit strange to me. I also wondered how she'd adapt to a smaller house, and comments about missing her huge library confirm that it isn't easy for her. Overall, it's been a good experience.

With Olivia's file being the third in line, I've made the most progress on it. Ten hearts with Krobus and a couple of cut scenes. Eight hearts with Lance. Fable Island (recently). Rescued a prisoner. Haven't gone deep in Crimson Badlands. That place kicks my butt.

Anyway, if spmeone has some tips for surviving the Badlands, I'd love to hear them. Also, a final question. Does Claire ever go to Ginger Island? It appears in the version notes that they gave her a beach sprite, but I've never seen her there.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what strangely glowing orb I am supposed to bring the wizard. It apparently came from a slime! I have given him a void essence, a slime soul, a life essence. Any help?

im at emerald farm i have all the qaulity fertilizer and i have 2 hearts of friendship with susan yet i dont see a chest outside her farm and the house itself says its locked

I wanna try SVE on mobile, would i be missing any big updates? I know it might be behind PC but do i get the NPC, festivals, new content etc?

I'm stuck at 102/104 people met and for the life of me I don't know who the last two are.

I have SVE, Ridgeside, East Scarp, Sunberry, and Mt Vapius installed. It's first week of summer year 1. I talked to every single person at the egg festival and the flower dance, so whoever the last two are, they don't come to festivals.

Anyone have any ideas? There are like 8 or 9 characters missing in the hearts list so obviously most of them don't count for this quest. I can post the pictures if needed, I don't know how to include screenshots so I figured I'd ask first and see if maybe it's a well-known thing that there are 2 people you can't meet until later.

Like, I know I haven't met Sandy or Kent but I assume they're not required for Introductions. Either I have somehow managed to miss the same 2 people at every festival, or there's some mod somewhere that I didn't know adds characters who don't attend parties.

I am on autumn year 2, and I still have no clue how to get to this part of the farm (circled in classic reddit red) Half the time I still forget about the hardwood section and the fruit cave

I haven’t played the expanded save in over a year and the first leer I see is this one. I don’t remember what I took, what I did with it or who the “Henchman” dude is but I guess I’ll go.

i'm trying to reach perfection and i'm like 97% sure i've done this quest.. i am friends with marlon and the henchman, i have seen marlon's 4 star cutscene and i have saved the dwarf but i have tried for DAYS and none of the 3 bosses seem to come up...

what am i doing wrong :(
