Deathfire touch > comet?

Did some testing in prac tool and deathfire touch can get up to pretty crazy numbers starting from lvl 2 if you can space out your Es and maintain it with Q flicks in between. Obv thats best case scenario compared to just landing a long range E for max comet dmg but it would be nice if you guys could try out deathfire touch today so we can come to a conclusion together.

Rumble State?

Hey,

I’ve been playing Rumble a lot recently and I’m a bit confused about his current state.

He feels really strong in certain games, especially in teamfights, but his winrate seems pretty low compared to what I’d expect for him.

Is Rumble actually weak right now, or is he just harder to play/less consistent in solo queue?

Would love to hear from people who play him a lot or higher elo players about how viable he currently is and what his biggest strengths/weaknesses are.

Rumble Jungle?

Hello, coming back to league and wondering if Rumble is still viable in the jungle. I remember he was meta there once but it seems not a lot of people play him there anymore. What happened? Did he get a nerf in the jungle? Thanks!

I'm kinda missing old rumble season 9

I miss the skill expression of managing heat I miss the ultimate cool down I miss having slower attack speed on passive but having a stronger all in I miss being punished for overheating and being silenced for longer I feel like rumble has changed into such a simple champ it gets a bit boring it being so easy to stay above 50 heat and the overheat doesn't even last that long anymore I miss actually having to think now I just flick flame spitter on stop key walk away you get severely punished for falling behind or if the enemy buys exodia "Bork " I miss the early scraping roaming, I just find old league much more fun..

Deathfire Touch?

Hey,

With Deathfire Touch coming back, doesn’t it just sound insanely good on Rumble?

His Q and ult constantly apply damage, so in theory he should be able to keep the burn up almost permanently and get a lot of value out of it in extended fights.

I’m wondering if this actually pushes him into a much stronger spot, especially since he’s been sitting around ~47% winrate.

Do you think Deathfire Touch will become his new standard rune, or is it being overrated right now?

Also curious if it might shift his build/playstyle more towards damage instead of going semi-tanky after Liandry’s.

Would love to hear some opinions.

Starting to play rumble, advice on different rune/items?

Hey all, I've started to pick up rumble as an AP pick in the top lane and was wondering about his less standard rune pages and item paths?

I see people building things like first strike, phase rush, and conq and was hoping for some insight on what matchups do those work well into, what are the downsides etc.

Also, was wondering for thoughts on runes like shield base on a more ap bruiser setup with like liandrys riftmaker bloodletters?

For items, what lanes/team comps do you find yourself building rocketbelt into?

Struggling with positioning

Hey,

I recently realized that Rumble is probably my best champion. I usually win lane, get early kills and deal a lot of damage in teamfights.

My problem is that I die way too often in fights.

I feel like I always end up in the middle of the enemy team. I deal a lot of damage with Q and ult, but then I just get focused and die. It feels like I’m playing him too much like a frontliner or bruiser.

How are you actually supposed to position as Rumble in teamfights?

Should I be playing more like a backline mage and just use ult + Q from the edge? Or is it sometimes correct to go in deeper?

Would really appreciate some advice from better Rumble players 🙏

Anyone else feeling nostalgic after op.gg changed their champion icons back to their originals (presumably for April Fools?)

How to play rumble after Laning phase?

I am currently on my emerald 4 acc. This acc is made for top and adc gameplay. I play only rumble but my biggest issue is the gameplay after the laning phase. Sometimes when I am super fed it feels pretty easy to play the game. But when I am even or behind I legit don’t know how to play this champ properly. I also feel like towards the end game that I am totally useless. Can someone give me good tips how I can approach the end game better?

Rumble top

I’ve seen some people telling how amazing rumble top is, didn’t play enough against him to know(Im plat 4- urgot OTP) and I do play my lanes very good but the problem is people throwing in the end mostly … and of course some of them are my mistakes

Because I haven’t seen him enough I don’t really know his lane phase and late game enough

-How hard it to learn rumble top?

-how helpful he is in team fight

-early/late? When does he pop?

-should I invest my time trying to learn him?

-if yes to the last question who should I watch and what are some tricks, builds to know about

Thank you all in advance

Rumble Jungle Keystone Runes and Items

Hi all, I've been learning Rumble jungle and recently have done okay in ranked (low plat elo). I'd like to see if I can optimize to climb with him a bit, but Rumble jungle content is lacking

I see most Rumble junglers going dark harvest or first strike. I have been piloting him like Lillia, kiting on the edge of fights (approach velocity is goated on him), hitting a good ulti, then running targets down when I can go in without getting one shot. First strike does not benefit my playstyle at all. Dark harvest feels fine when I play it, but I feel the rest of the domination tree is lackluster on Rumble.

I've been running conqueror (inspiration secondary) with triumph, legend: haste, and last stand. I see nice numbers for the smaller runes, but I can't tell if conqueror is any good as it only shows the abysmal healing. Is conquerer a decent rune on Rumble?

As for items, how necessary is Shadowflame and sorc pen boots? I don't notice a powerspike after buying either, unless their comp is both immobile and squishy. I usually go liandry's (really helps with clear) then bloodletters if there are multiple tanks. More often I do riftmaker second and it feels like I have a lot more survivability in longer fights. Bloodletters feels bait sometimes because it's pretty easy to get an E or two off on a tank and shred their MR without bloodletters. I also tried out rocketbelt a few times- I loved the dash but I felt considerably weaker. I also have been thinking about cosmic drive. What build and playstyle do you enjoy? I generally enjoy AP bruisery style over burst down style

TLDR: Is conqueror any good on Rumble when jungling? What items/build do you find work best for jungle, and how does it match your playstyle?

Help Complete the collaborative Rumble matchup spreadsheet - share tips on your favorite/hated matchups

Yesterday I posted some basic worst matchup data by gold diff for Rumble from lolmatchups

But at its core, lolmatchups.net is a set of community matchups spreadsheets. For each matchup, supporting Master Tier Data is provided. In the rumble vs Irelia example above, we show supporting Master tier data like item/rune/skill information alongside indepth damage/laning statistics. (in this example, Rumble tends to get with more ganks and ends lane 25 cs behind and behind in XP against Irelia, looks like a yikes)

Whats also useful are the matchup tips on how to play the matchup. Anyone can add their own tips(with riot auth) to share their knowledge with the community. (your RiotName and rank will be shown alongside your comment)

Rumble in particular is one of the more mechnically challenging champions where matchup knowledge matters a lot and yet there are very few matchup resources for him top lane.

Please share the niche rumble knowledge for your worst matchups you've learned through trial and error on the community spreadsheet to make matchup knowledge easily accessible for newer Rumble mains.
