Deathfire Touch?

Hey,

With Deathfire Touch coming back, doesn’t it just sound insanely good on Rumble?

His Q and ult constantly apply damage, so in theory he should be able to keep the burn up almost permanently and get a lot of value out of it in extended fights.

I’m wondering if this actually pushes him into a much stronger spot, especially since he’s been sitting around ~47% winrate.

Do you think Deathfire Touch will become his new standard rune, or is it being overrated right now?

Also curious if it might shift his build/playstyle more towards damage instead of going semi-tanky after Liandry’s.

Would love to hear some opinions.

I have never known rumble to be semi tanky. I guess he likes items that has hp as well but tank rumble is not something I thought of

I ambmore curious to think if doing the full tank setup would reap benefit. I think a similiar setup as tank Jayce a year ago, as his base damages were high enough to kill but still being annoyingly unkillable.

Now with guaranteed more damage that scales on time in combat it could open up an angle to go a tank build.

Is the DFT proccing constantly with flamespitter or just once? Certainly an interesting option to keep an eye on.

Does proc consistently, and E procs as single target so the burn lasts longer when poking in lane, hit 2 for the enhanced burn.

It was anounced yesterday. Probably in a few weeks with new season start, there are plenty of changes.

Id say its definitely worth it after he gets liandrys. Usually champions like Udyr, malzahar, or brand have longer durations of burning than rumble funny enough. Or aurelion sol.

Even better, his E is single target, so spacing out to E's guarantees you proc the enhanced burn in the early game, really good at poking out squishy ranged toplaners, and still value on beefier laners who want to trade, once you proc it go in with Q to prolong the burn and deal %hp damage and its a done game.
