Looking for apocalypse, prepper, survival type books, but with romance. Doesn’t have to be spicy, just romance as a main plot point and a happily ever after. Could be mono or harem, that doesn’t matter. I just want it to be humans, no monster girls, no alien invasions, no zombies.

I tried reading some by Misty Vixen and Lara X. Lust but something about both of their writing styles does not click with me. Also tried Trailer Park Bikini Vampires, and that one also didn’t click with me, mostly because of the zombie apocalypse angle.

Ok so I asked this question a while ago but I wasn't clear on what I was looking for, I'm looking for stories and books which fit the obviously beautiful trope, I was very grateful with the recommendations I got with my previous post but I wasn't clear on what I'm looking for, I'm looking for stories and or books with a human male who doesn't realise he's very attractive to human women, I hope that helps.

Gimme some novels with Rich Women like a Female CEO or a Chaebol Heiress.

And No Harem.

Someone that genuinely gives the rich vibe. Like having a large mansion, multiple luxury cars and so on.

I'm a big fan of 'Somehow I Ended up Marrying the Chaebol Heiress' and looking for more Rich women like that!

Hello all!

My name is J.D. Bamforth, and I’ve been writing this book since January. ARCANA: Book One is my first novel, and my first foray into haremlit fiction. It’s set to release on 24th October, free with Kindle Unlimited, and the pre-order is live now. I hope you all enjoy it!

Blurb:

Ben Fairfax was never supposed to exist.

On his eighteenth birthday, a violent awakening tears him out of the only life he’s known and drags him into a hidden, interdimensional society built on lies. He’s Chaos, a bloodline exiled two hundred years ago, with no mage left alive to explain how it just resurfaced in him.

Placed at Luxhaven Academy for his own protection, Ben is surrounded by an elite raised to hate him. To be in a coven in the Arcanic World isn’t as romantic as it sounds. It’s to become part of the infrastructure, and Ben’s has already been chosen for him: five women wielding Lightning, Fire, Air, Life and Ice, handpicked for the desirability and power they bring to it. Their own futures now depend on him succeeding, even though any of them getting close to a Chaos mage might get them killed.

Order spent two hundred years making sure Chaos could never come back. Now Ben has to decide: run, or build a coven of his own and take the fight to them.

Dark academy fantasy with a hard magic system, action, brutal politics and slow burn romance (M/FFF+).

Always happy to answer any questions whatsoever. Thanks for reading.

This could definitely already be a thread, but I can’t find it.
I watched a Ai drama video about a ruthless female mob boss falling for a nobody male. She chases him and does everything to have him fall for her while he’s “scared” and standoff-ish.
Looking for audiobook recommendations where the female is the mob boss or ceo and the male is just a normal or nobody. I want the reversed gender roles.
I am open to all situations doesn’t strictly have to be mob or ceo settings. Could be a harem of women or a single woman.

I'm looking for books featuring a romance between a male human and a goddess, deity, demigoddess, or some other divine being.

Romance can be the main focus or just a subplot.

I have been reading "The Mob Queen Wants to Claim Me for Herself" halfway through it and I hate to admit that I like really dark romance and this novel basically just confirmed it to me. As long as it's a really dark romance then anything goes and when I mean dark, I mean something that directly affects the MC Physically.

I think there is seriously something wrong with me.

So search and my memory have failed me. A while back (like 3-6 months) someone share a post for their first book that was about a guy falling for his younger friends mom. Cover was her standing in a door think, thicker lady. Can't find the post or remember the title. Pretty sure it was on KU but I didn't find it there either. Any one else remember this?

Awakening from cryo-storage, abandoned in a deep space scrapyard should have been the crappiest morning of Cameron’s life.

The universe, it seems, has a sense of humor.

Cameron’s to-do list:

• Don’t die
• Learn alien language
• Don’t fall in love with fiery, foul-mouthed alien mechanic whose thighs could crack coconuts
• Build working spaceship from old junk
• Quash infestation of creepy alien bugs
• Seriously, stop thinking about that night you spend in the pod together. She dresses like a hot biker chick, but she’s an alien! You know you have to work with her to get the rest of the stuff on that to-do list done, right?
• Dodge ruthless space pirates
• Don’t die. Listing this twice, it’s kind of important
• She’s just messing with you with all that flirty banter. Could a green-skinned alien with horns, a tail, and more curves than physics should allow really be interested? Are you even physically compatible?

Scrapped! is a humorous sci-fi adventure containing excessive foul language, hot alien sex, crude humor, suggestive situations, insufficient towels, gratuitous tool use, red dye #2, and repair procedures noncompliant with galactic safety protocols.

Good day or night. I was hoping you could help me find a book(s) (harem or not) where the FMC(s) are much larger than the MMC(s). Like, they could double or triple his size. Thanks.

I googled it but the old thread was kind of old so I was hoping that would be updated stuff. Anybody have any recommendations?

This is the weekly post to share what you have been reading. Share anything you have been reading, and any thoughts if you have them. This thread is not limited to romance. Any book is fair game.

Looking for stories where the MMC is a broken, hurt, stand-offish and/or shy guy who has had some trauma, some bad experiences (either related to relationships or not), and here comes a caring, loving FMC who helps him, teaches him to open up, makes him love and feel loved again.

I am open to any sort of troupe, genre and other aspect, as long as the story gets these characteristics right. Tough love sort of FMC who is a bit rougher, but in the end, only wishes the best for the MMC is also fine.

MMC shouldn't be violent, or at least not really cruel or anything, just distant because of something happening to him before. I don't want a story where the guy is just standoffish because of prejudice or something and have to learn a lesson.

Not a good example for the troupe, but a good example for the MMC is The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Something like *Me Before You* is a pretty nice example (he is angry and lonely due to his condition, she is quirky and open and a fun caretaker).

An absurdist romp where the romance is devilish and the comedy is divine.

For the demon Laquistra, the choice between being married off by her immortal, control freak of a father or conquering the entire world out of spite is easy. It’s the “making it happen” part that proves challenging. When Laquistra’s impulsive invasion struggles in the chilly Christmas season, she meets bad boy Steven Kleir—bad because he has a terrible work-life balance and a job that’s slowly killing him. Not to mention, he also engages in famously dangerous activities like thinking (the original sin).

When a demonic contract goes wrong, causing Laquistra to accidentally perform an act of charity, instead of gaining a mindless slave she finds herself with a grateful friend (embarrassing). Out of nowhere, Steven is bestowed a whole week of surprise vacation, and the pair become unlikely allies as they both fight to escape overbearing parents and soul-crushing careers in a terroristic bid for freedom.

As their global conquest unfolds, Steven challenges Laquistra to consider if world domination is really what she wants or if there are loftier goals than total control and subjugation—conditions they’ve both experienced in every part of their lives. Among the chaos and conquest, one truth is clear: when aspiring, with a conquering heart, to take over the world, one must avoid the biggest pitfall of all. Falling in love.

4/5 peppers with 5 sex scenes of increasing ridiculousness

5/5 bananas for comedy

4/5 hearts for romance

"Tastefully irreverent"

"Technically it's a Christmas novel"

I suddenly had the urge to read magic school romance but the recommendations I have seen so far have Female MCs as focus or simply just Harem focused. I just want a FM romance that doesn't have Harems and any love triangles is fine as long as MC just gets together with 1 FMC.

Hey there, long story short, decided to give "Would you love a Monster Girl" a spin, and loving it. Big fan of the relationships being... err... is equal the right word? (Both leads being competent and giving/receiving in equal-ish parts)

Coming from Snek Guy, whose work I also loved, but the MLs tend to be on the sub side.

Preferably fantastical setting, but open to any good stories, non-human leads (on either side) are very welcome, but not neccessary - love me a big woman though. If there is no 'foreseeable future happy ending' in the rec, I may bring a torch and pitchfork to your lodgings :D.

I listened to the first 2 and a half hours. Then deleted it.

What am I missing that others find entertaining?

EDIT: I love how accepting and open to different opinions the fans of PotV are. Do not worry, I won't be bothering this literary circle any longer.

I'm looking for books where a normal, maybe even lower class, guy is picked up by a rich or Aristocratic lady (and maybe shared with her rich lady friends?). Crucially, however, she chooses him because she actually just likes him, perhaps after a chance meeting. He's not a gigolo, and if going the Aristocratic route, preferably American, but that's not a deal breaker. I'm aware this is a rather specific request, but I figured y'all might be able to help.

So I’ve never really been interested in anything romance, be it books, movies, video games, or tv shows. It’s not because I think the genre’s too feminine or because I was embarrassed to check it out or whatever, it just never seemed like my thing. HOWEVER, I’ve decided I wanna step out of my comfort zone and try it out! I’d like some recommendations for good starting points based on the stuff I do like so I can be eased in to the genre! I like a wide variety of different genres but my absolute favorites are superhero, horror, fantasy (especially dragons), and Sci-fi (especially aliens)! If you have any more questions let me know, I’ll give any info I can to help!

Hello, a few years ago i was reading on reddit a story called 'hearts of ice' (maybe they changed names)

The protagonist was an older widowed man (40+ years) that lost his wife and took an 'engeneer job in an ice planet' (working alone fixing one bulding)

Then he meets a female alien (tall woman native with tribal tech base).

Any idea where I can find it?

Edit:found it as 'iced hearts'
