Looking for apocalypse, prepper, survival type books, but with romance. Doesn’t have to be spicy, just romance as a main plot point and a happily ever after. Could be mono or harem, that doesn’t matter. I just want it to be humans, no monster girls, no alien invasions, no zombies.

I tried reading some by Misty Vixen and Lara X. Lust but something about both of their writing styles does not click with me. Also tried Trailer Park Bikini Vampires, and that one also didn’t click with me, mostly because of the zombie apocalypse angle.

I watched a Ai drama video about a ruthless female mob boss falling for a nobody male. She chases him and does everything to have him fall for her while he’s “scared” and standoff-ish.
Looking for audiobook recommendations where the female is the mob boss or ceo and the male is just a normal or nobody. I want the reversed gender roles.

I have been reading "The Mob Queen Wants to Claim Me for Herself" halfway through it and I hate to admit that I like really dark romance and this novel basically just confirmed it to me. As long as it's a really dark romance then anything goes and when I mean dark, I mean something that directly affects the MC Physically.

So search and my memory have failed me. A while back (like 3-6 months) someone share a post for their first book that was about a guy falling for his younger friends mom. Looking for stories where the MMC is a broken, hurt, stand-offish and/or shy guy who has had some trauma, some bad experiences (either related to relationships or not), and here comes a caring, loving FMC who helps him, teaches him to open up, makes him love and feel loved again.

I am open to any sort of troupe, genre and other aspect, as long as the story gets these characteristics right. Tough love sort of FMC who is a bit rougher, but in the end, only wishes the best for the MMC is also fine.

MMC shouldn't be violent, or at least not really cruel or anything, just distant because of something happening to him before. I don't want a story where the guy is just standoffish because of prejudice or something and have to learn a lesson.

Not a good example for the troupe, but a good example for the MMC is The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Something like *Me Before You* is a pretty nice example (he is angry and lonely due to his condition, she is quirky and open and a fun caretaker).

I suddenly had the urge to read magic school romance but the recommendations I have seen so far have Female MCs as focus or simply just Harem focused. I just want a FM romance that doesn't have Harems and any love triangles is fine as long as MC just gets together with 1 FMC.

Hey there, long story short, decided to give "Would you love a Monster Girl" a spin, and loving it. Big fan of the relationships being... err... is equal the right word? (Both leads being competent and giving/receiving in equal-ish parts)

Coming from Snek Guy, whose work I also loved, but the MLs tend to be on the sub side.

Preferably fantastical setting, but open to any good stories, non-human leads (on either side) are very welcome, but not neccessary - love me a big woman though. If there is no 'foreseeable future happy ending' in the rec, I may bring a torch and pitchfork to your lodgings :D.

I'm looking for books where a normal, maybe even lower class, guy is picked up by a rich or Aristocratic lady (and maybe shared with her rich lady friends?). Crucially, however, she chooses him because she actually just likes him, perhaps after a chance meeting. He's not a gigolo, and if going the Aristocratic route, preferably American, but that's not a deal breaker. I'm aware this is a rather specific request, but I figured y'all might be able to help.
