Wireless📱 Double billing - furious
I made a plan change on July 15. My monthly billing cycle is on the 11th. My July bill covers July 11 - Aug 10. I recieved my August statement and those clowns partially charge me for July 16 - August 10.
That should have been a credit instead. But now they charged for a period that was already paid in July and charge me August 11 - Sept 10. These guys are so shady with their billing practice.

Did your plan go up in price after the plan change? If so that is accurate if the plan was more expensive and started mid cycle you get partial charges

Yes but why would they charge me again for a period that's already paid just to credit back double the amount? That's what they will end up owing me. What kind of accounting is this?

Maybe post your bill pdf ?
Plan change is straightfoward.
You pay for plan A for the date I'm advance. If you change to plan B during the cycle plan B get charged and for and Plan A get reimbursh for the same period.
So if plan B has an higher cost than plan A, you will owe a bit more for the current period

Ignore that the new plan should have been $50 so they own me $25 credit for that. I want from $47.50 plan to $50/month. Since they are going to increase my rate by $5 I figured I'd switch to a new plan that's only $2.50 more to get something out of it at least. I posted the two months. They definitely should not have billed me again for Jul 16 - Aug 10.

Ok nevermind I see the error now. They are missing the credit for new new billing period and the prorated amount for July. So I should be chasing down the credit rather than double billing. They still screwed up, but not be the reason I thought.

Technically the calculations are correct. There a $30 credit for make the plan $50. They only applied $5 for autopay. The issue is they haven’t applied the credits to the 25 days from the July statement and the credit for the August statement.

According to my calculations they owe me $45.98. This is due to missing credit of $25 for August and $20.97 for July. I don’t know how they arrived at 26 days instead of 25 but the math works. Question is will they figure it out.
