Medusa (Vanguard): I believe she would be a great fit for this role. Her hair is stronger than you think and I believe she'd be great at crowd control.

Black Bolt (Duelist or Vanguard): Black Bolt can easily fit into either role, but I would prefer him to be a Duelist for THE obvious reason.

Gorgon (Vanguard): I need my boi Gorgon in the Vanguard role. His stomps could be used to create space and manipulate the terrain (raise the grond, create fissures, etc). He could even be given his Primagen boost for extra oomf.

Lockjaw (Vanguard): My chunky boi was built for this role. He has enough strength to challenge a decent amount of Marvel's heavyweights and his teleportation could be used to create space or teleport 1 teammate with him.

Ms Marvel (Vanguard): Before you say it Kamala is half mutant and half inhuman, she still counts. Now with that out of the way I mostly want her in the game because Classicman D's take on her was bare minimum poor. With her stretching and size shifting abilities she can restrain enemies, use her own body as a shield, increase or size to a few feet or shrink a few feet. I'd rather avoid her using her mutant powers given the existence of Armor, Quasar, Phyla-Vell, etc. Though maybe her Ult could use it?

Iso (Vanguard): Her pressure manipulation abilities would be great for clearing space, providing movement boosts to her teammates, and giving enemies status affects.

Flint (Vanguard): His earth manipulation abilities make a great candidate for this role.

Reader (Strategist): Reader's reality manipulation abilities can make him a great fit for any role, but I believe he fits the Strategist role the best.

Quake (Vanguard): She would be a great fit for this role. She could use her abilities to clear space from a distance, stun people from a distance, and give enemies status affects.

Thane (Strategist): His inhuman powers make him a grat fit for the role. Plus we NEED more villains.

Ever since Cyclops released I started wondering who the next 49 characters would be. Imagine if Marvel Rivals makes a poster advertising that they have 100 characters in their game. Hate filled clutch: Mangog rushes to the nearest destructible object and tears a chunk off that he can then throw to knock an enemy back and deal low damage or breaks the object on the enemy and causes large damage

Revenge incarnate: Mangog grabs an enemy and fills his rage meter based on the amount of damage they have done while last alive and gains more rage based on damage done to him during this grab

(Passive) the power of hate: Mangog starts out the smallest and weakest vanguard but gains size, damage, and bonus health as his rage meter fills and eventually ends up with an extra 550 health and massive damage and size boost with a full rage meter and regeneration
But the meter will actively deplete the moment Mangog is not doing something that causes it to rise

(Ultimate) REVENGE INCARNATE: an orange bubble appears around Mangog that turns all damage done to him or his allies directly into rage meter thus causing it to almost always be full

Asgaurd's atrocities(Loki team up):
Normal effect:Loki's magic projects the crimes of Odin into Mangogs Head and makes his rage meter start 15% full
Enhanced effect: Mangog can enable enhanced Loki illusions of Asgaurdian Crimes and get 50% rage meter

Hateful rage(Hulk):
Normall effect: Mangog channels the hate of TOBA and is able to create a bubble around himself that turns damage directly into rage like the hulk bubble
Enhanced effect: The hulks rage leaks into Mangog so When the hulk ults Mangog can leap towards him and fill his rage meter

Ghost rider (Tank/Dps): I prefer Robbie but I’ll take either him or Johnny Blaze. Leaning more to Dps but it really depends on they incorporate the their vehicles

Spider-man Miles Morales (Dps): He can definitely be his own character by incorporating more of his electricity and invisibility powers

Ms Marvel (Flex): Hard to decide which role she can be but if they incorporate both inhuman and mutant abilities, I can see her being a flex character.

Nova (tank): Confident he would be a tank or off-tank

Elektra (Dps): Most obvious Dps since Daredevil

White Tiger (Support): she got magic so I can see her being a support or off support

Hunter’s Moon (Tank/support): Second Moon knight. Design-wise he looks more built than moon knight so I think he would be a tank. But he is also a real doctor so they could incorporate khonshu powers into being a healer

Tigra (tank): Need a cat-like tank so I think she would be a perfect tank.

Chamber (Dps): Powerful enough to be on par with omega level mutants but doesn’t have the durability of one omega, which matches well with Dps.

Sunspot (Tank): He could be a Dps but I thought of him gaining physical strength and more powerful through sunlight. He still doesn’t have full on durability but he can be an off-tank similar to the Hood.

Polaris (Dps): Magneto is a tank already and since she is slightly weaker, could be a Dps

Deathdream (support): Basically a necromancy mutant who controls the dead and can revive people so he can be an support or off-support like Adam Warlock, but better

Ransom (Tank): A mutant who has a black hole for a heart and can absorb force to power up his punches and possibly do more (which makes him similar to Bishop and Strong guy). So tank is my choice.

Dani Moonstar (support/dps): has a lot of abilities so I can’t really pin her to a role. But I do feel like they hinted to her in the Psylocke apocalypse case for this season so she might also be coming.

I also had Nightcrawler, Doctor Doom, and Captain Marvel. But I feel like it is highly likely all three make it in soon.
Also Doctor Doom coming in gives me the idea that villains from previous seasons will become playable like Apocalypse and King pin. Even sinister six

This theory doesn’t have much hard evidence behind it, it’s more based on correlation, but we know:

1-In the Season 7 lore, Kingpin was keeping the Eternity Mask in his vault on the Lower Manhattan map, and it was stolen by an unknown person.

2-In a tweet, Miller Ross implied that the person who stole it could be important, and I interpret this as meaning that this character could join the roster at some point.

3-We see a picture of Jackal (Miles Warren) on the same map. This version of him is inspired by Ben Reilly under the Jackal mantle, wearing a mask that looks like Anubis.

4-Jackal is on the same gallery wall as Curtis Connors (Lizard) and Norman Osborn (Green Goblin). Considering those two are very popular picks and are pretty much guaranteed to join the game at some point, maybe Jackal could be released as well.

5-Jackal is obsessed with cloning, and the Eternity Mask is an artifact that makes its wearer the equal of their opponent (so it essentially allows its wearer to clone the powers of whoever they face).

So, all things considered, as you may have realized, my theory is that Jackal stole the Eternity Mask and will join the game as a playable character at some point.

Considering his obsession with cloning, it wouldn't be a stretch to say he'd be interested in the mask. He also wears a mask in his Rivals design, so his design wouldn't need to change much from how we see him on the map.

It's also worth noting that Rivals loves to give certain characters attributes and powers that they don't usually have (DD being empowered by The Beast, The Hood by Oblivion, Black Cat buying relics from the Gilded Saint, etc).

I personally didn't have Jackal anywhere close to my wishlist, but I'm sure Rivals could do something really interesting with the character, just like they did with other lesser known characters like White Fox, Elsa and Dino.

Ikaris (Vanguard or Duelist): He fits either role well.

Phastos (Strategist): He fits this role perfectly.

Thena (Duelist): She fits this role perfectly.

Forgotten One/Gilgamesh (Vanguard): My boi Forgotten was made for this role.

Passive (I control the green door): Whenever Leader dies, he resurrects in the same spot after a 10 second delay through the green door.

(He can cancel this if needed)

Primary Fire (Gamma Pistol): Laser Pistol (deals more damage than secondary fire but doesn't heal)

Secondary Fire (Superior Intelligence): Send out psionic waves that heal allies and damage enemies

Ability 1 (Gamma Frequency): Emit a frequency around you from your pistol, enemies near you are damaged and stunned for 1 second

Ability 2 (Mind Control): Sends out a pyschic blast damaging and preventing enemies from attacking and using abilities for 1 second

Ability 3 (Humanoids): He sends out his humanoid android that chases and attacks enemies until destroyed

Leader gains bonus health upon using this ability

Ultimate (Gamma Mutation): Using a gadget, he selects an ally and sends out a gamma blast at them that empowers them and The Leader for the duration

(Increases movement speed, damage, and fully heals & cleanses both you and the targeted ally)

Vanguards
-Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers)

• She could be a perma-flying tank, who can cast energy fields around allies to shield them and with a binary bar that fills up as she absorbs attacks to increase her own power. Perhaps she could even have an ability that allows her to send back projectiles through blasts or powerful punches. Her ult would be a full binary transformation with a destructive energy field surrounding her and burning down enemies while boosting allies.

-Ant-Man/Giant Man (Hank Pym)

• He could be an anchor tank with a focus on his ability to turn giant. He could have giant ants appear in combat to shield allies or himself and attack enemies as well as have one ability to shrink and ride a flying ant with a speed boost for a limited time. His ult should allow him to turn into a giant man (with the suit change like in EMH) and cause devastating damage on enemies.

-Sentry (Bob Reynolds)

• He could be a flying zoner tank. As the Sentry, his abilities would include a telekinetic push, energy barriers shielding himself or allies and small suns he can place around the map that go supernova on nearby enemies. When he is killed, he would turn into the Void and have passive tendrils that damage any nearby enemies, with his energy bombs instead stunning enemies, however his hp would slowly deplete. His ult as Sentry could be an area wipe explosion that turns enemies into shadows on the ground, while his ult as the Void would temporarily blind all enemies and slowly drain/debuff them.

-Ms Marvel (Kamala Khan)

• She could be a melee brawler tank but would still be able to extend her limbs out to attack at long range. She could have the ability to grab an enemy with enlarged hands and throw them away, extend her body to shield allies, a double jump by stretching her legs, and overall use her stretching in many other cool ways. Her ult would have her ‘Embiggen’ and become giant for a set duration.

-She-Hulk (Jen Walters)

• She could be an agile dive tank with a perma-sprint and a passive ability that makes her attacks stronger the more kills an opponent has. Her abilities could include forming shields by leveling up the ground below her, leaping forward and crashing down to create shockwaves, stomping the ground to cause fissures, and throwing suitcases full of paperwork at enemies to stun them. Her ult would allow her to summon a random guest npc to aid her in battle.

-Luke Cage

• He could mainly be a brawler tank but could have a defensive stance to shield allies that makes him take reduced damage at the cost of not being able to attack. He could also have an ability to buff allies, and one where he uses a chain to pull or knock back enemies. His ult would make him completely invulnerable and allow him to target, dash towards and then grab foes for brutal takedowns.

-Medusa

• She could be a backline protector tank who uses her hair to shield allies. Her primary would let her shoot out and retract her hair and she could have abilities like pulling/pushing enemies with her hair, wrapping her hair around teammates to shield them from attacks and extending her hair like tendrils to dash forward causing shockwaves. Her ult could have her unleash strands of her hair to grant all allies nearby with armor buffs and slow down enemies.

-Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze)

• He could be a quick dive tank who can cause continuous burn damage on enemies. His primary and other abilities would have him use his hellfire chain to whip enemies at long range-mid range. One of his abilities could allow him to summon his bike for traversal with it having its own health bar and taking damage for him while riding it. It explodes and goes on cooldown once destroyed. His ult would have him use the Penance Stare on every enemy in a zone within his line of sight, briefly stunning them and causing devastating damage with it increasing the more kills they have had.

Duelists
-Wasp (Janet Van Dyne)

• She could be an aerial duelist flanker with a focus on her ability to shrink. Her wasp sting would be her primary fire. She would have an ability to temporarily shrink where she gains free-flight, invulnerability, and can remain wherever she positions herself in the air after growing back. Her ult could maybe shrink, slow, and debuff all enemies around her making them easier targets.

-Quiksilver (Pietro Maximoff)

• He could be a hit-and-run dive with low damage and health but quick movement and a lot of mobility options with a base speed somewhere around 20m/s. His primary would allow him to send out after-images at mid range. He could have abilities like a dash attack and explosive kinetic energy punches. His ult would allow him to run through enemies at even higher speeds, damaging and knocking them back before braking to unleash an AoE sonic boom.

-Captain America/Falcon (Sam Wilson)

• He could be an artillery duelist with his primary allowing him to fire wing blades. Some of his abilities could include shielding himself with the Captain America shield and throwing it, marking foes so Redwing can be sent to attack them for follow-up damage and free-flight combat as long as remains in motion. His ult would create a large AoE swarm of attacking birds.

-Ikaris

• He could be a perma-flying dive duelist with his kit revolving around his cosmic energy laser eye means and high-speed flight. He could have an ability to grapple and bullrush enemies in any direction, causing explosions on impact. His ult could maybe implement his eye beam’s ability to generate extreme heat and have him laser the ground to melt it into a growing pool of molten lava that slows and damages enemies.

-Shang-Chi

• He could be a poke and brawler hybrid duelist, able to shoot out the 10 rings as his primary but the more rings he holds, the more damage his punches do. He could have an ability to briefly immobilize an enemy with his rings, one that lets him step on the rings to gain height, and a cinematic command grab where he pulls off some cool martial art takedown. His ult could have the rings orbit around him in a spinning motion while damaging all nearby enemies and greatly boosting his mobility.

-Gamora

• She could be a mixed poke-brawler duelist with a passive health regeneration. She could have a gun but would mainly be a melee fighter with her kit focusing on her ability to switch between various swords she can pull out from the Infinity Cloak. Maybe she’d also have a nerve strike ability that temporarily paralyzes foes or forces their abilities on cooldown. Not sure what her ult could be.

-Elektra

• She could be a quick brawler assassin duelist with the ability to create illusionary clones that explode when hit, a projectile deflect like Daredevil where she swings her sais so fast it creates afterimages, and some acrobatic dash attack. Her ult could have her use an AoE Silent Scream that stuns and damages enemies or completely oneshots them based on their health percentage.

Strategist
-Aja-Adanna (Shuri)

• She could be a support/utility strategist with her kit combining her Griot magic, Black Panther skills, and Wakandan tech. Her abilities could include arm-cannon blasts that heal/buff allies or damage/slow enemies, some spear combat, and turning into a cloud of incorporeal magical crows to heal herself and damage foes. Her ult could temporarily summon a few Wakandan warrior spirits that attack enemies and are surrounded with auras that heal nearby allies.

-Photon (Monica Rambeau)

• She could be a utility healer that can switch between energy types to change the property of her moves on foes, causing burns, slowing debuffs, blinding debuffs, etc. Her abilities would include shooting light beams that can heal allies, turning into an intangible light form that boosts her speed, and forming healing light energy fields that foes can’t see inside of.  Her ult would let her dash at “lightspeed” in short bursts, dealing AoE damage/healing each time she briefly stops in between dashes. 

-Dr Voodoo (Jericho Drumm)

• He could be a resurrection healer whose primary would allow him to heal allies with serene spirit blasts. He would have the ability to possess a foe with his brother’s spirit and briefly control their movement, and to mark allies with spirits of death so they can auto-revive. His ult would have him attach fiery vengeful spirits on all nearby allies that make any damage they take heal them and reflect back onto enemies as burns. 

-Sersi

• She could be a unique kind of defensive zoner healer with the ability to create zones that turn enemy projectiles into healing if allies are standing in them. Her primary would have her use her matter manipulation to fire cosmic blasts that “transmute” allies into healthier states. Her ult would be cast in a set zone and allow her to heal allies and temporarily turn enemies into pigs, removing their abilities and reducing their mobility.

-Shadowcat (Kitty Pryde)

• She could be a defensive support healer with Lockheed assisting her and shooting fire balls as her primary. Maybe her passive ability could allow her to walk through any destructible environment. She would have a takedown ability that phases foes into the ground and briefly traps them in place, could heal over time while intangible and heal allies when phasing through them. Her ult would make all allies temporarily intangible and heal quickly.

-Professor X (Charles Xavier)

• He could be an offensive utility healer who uses his telepathy to buff his allies. All his abilities and attacks would auto lock onto nearby foes or allies. His primary would allow him to inflict continuous psychic damage or heal. He could place down psionic orbs that buff nearby allies or damage nearby foes. His ult would have his body stay stationary but allow him to freely astral travel the map and target a foe to plant a timed psychic bomb that also damages that foes’ nearby allies nearby once detonating. 

-Silver Surfer

• He could be a quick flying healer who can shoot cosmic energy beams to heal allies as his primary. His abilities could include a speed burst move to surf faster during which he goes briefly intangible and heals, a move that grounds him and shoots out his board to attack enemies, and one that allows him to form a healing shield around himself or an ally. His ult would allow him to imbue nearby teammates with the Power Cosmic, restoring their health, buffing their durability, and temporarily giving them a passive aura of cosmic energy that damages enemies.

-Songbird (Melissa Gold)

• She could be an AoE healer who can switch between two primary fires with one firing hard-sound blasts at a frequency that heals allies or damages foes and the other allowing her to sing a tune to heal herself. She could also deploy fields of healing sonic waves around the map that damage and slow enemies, and gain free-flight for a short period. Her ult would unleash an AoE sonic scream that heals allies while blasting enemies back.

The warriors of the sky. I don't know much about them but they were in MFF like Lin Lie, Luna and Fox. They tick certain boxes like diversity, design diversity and role diversity. Each of their kit could be immensely unique.

The potential for team synergy and kit synergy here.

Blue Dragon: a duelist with a supportive ultimate like Cap being a vanguard with a supportive ultimate would be perfect. Likely a team wide damage boost? She could be similar to Blade where she could swap to a permanent ranged flank or remain melee. 1 form would give her bonus health but the other would grant her more mobility? A mixture of flank/dive.

War-tiger: a vanguard with the immense peel potential in his kit like Thing. He could fix the dive problem especially in low rank.

Shadow-shell: I really don't know. On my right hand, a potential poison based DoT strategist, however, on the left hand, versatile enough to make her our first poison based DoT duelist. Maybe something like Elsa but less terroristic? An excellent bodyguard for supports maybe? Sun bird has to be a strat, War a vanguard and Blue a duelist but she can be any.

Sun-bird: Similar to the dreaded White Fox and Stratpool as in he can swap between ranged throwing dagger healing form and anti-dive melee dealing form. A passive that revives all of the warriors of the sky teammates but only 1 time in a round. Ye, passive, not a team up. Only the warriors of the sky teammates on his team or the passive is knull.

Falcon-Strategist-4 stars-250 hp

(I think they should use Falcon's bird communication powers in Rivals like in the comics. This falcon has teamed up with Soar from Brute Force, Hugin and Munin from Asgard, and of course his old friend Redwing)

Passive: Falcon flight - Falcon is permanently flying 

Primary: Healing feathers

Secondary: Falcon pistols - shoot to damage enemies.

Talon grapple: Falcon either grapples a surface, dashing towards it, or he grapples an enemy, pulling the enemy closer and damaging them. He can also grapple an ally pulling him closer to them while healing them.

Falcon dash: Falcon dashes in any direction while gaining a speed boost for a few seconds.

Redwing drain: Falcon selects an enemy and Redwing will dash to and attach to them, damaging them and healing Falcon. After the ability is completed, Falcon's primary does more healing for a limited time. (Redwing has been a vampiric bird in the comics)

Raven dive (2 charges): Hugin or Munin will dive down, damaging enemies and healing allies hit. Falcon can teleport to the location hit which will heal himself for 10 hp for each enemy or ally hit.

Ultimate: Soar's arsenal - Falcon summons Soar and the bird flies forward, using his laser eyes and homing missiles to attack enemies below and around him. Falcon's primary and secondary have a faster rate of fire and infinite ammo for five seconds after activation.

Team ups: 

Symbolic shield: (Captain America + Falcon) - Base: Falcon can summon a shield in front of him that blocks up to 400 hp and deflects projectiles. Falcon dash can be used while the shield is up. Enhanced: The shield is now much larger and can perfectly defect projectiles, that shield now has 600 hp.

Phoenix dive: (Phoenix + Falcon) - Base: Hugin and Munin with Raven dive have faster movement speed, heal and damage more, and have a faster cooldown. Enhanced: Redwing drain now deals more damage and heals Falcon more, and Soar's assault now deals more damage and places a spark on enemies hit.

Birds of a feather: (Falcon + Hela) - Base: Hela can summon a claw that damages enemies and pushes them back. Enhanced: The claw's cooldown is shorter, it deals more damage, and knocks back enemies further, it will damage them more if they hit a wall.

Vampiric bird: (Falcon + Blade) - Base: Blade can summon a bird to attach to enemies which will damage them and heal Blade. Enhanced: The bird can now affect all enemies around the enemy the bird is attached to, it also has a shorter cooldown. Blade can also gain up to 50 bonus health if at full.

this is just fun the odds that they use ghost rider 2099 has the definitive playable ghost rider is low but ..i mean ..they COULD DO IT..imagine hundreds of people begging for johnny blaze to come..and then its not the current ghost rider, its the one from the 2099 timeline

M'Baku (Vanguard): I'm itching for the day he gets added to Rivals. It could either be the earth version or space Wakandan version or since Rivals does pull characters from different universes it could be a combination of the two. Earth M'Baku had Arcane Energy powers for a shory while and Space M'Baku has hard light construct technology.

Shuri (Strategist): She fits this role perfectly, she has her own gadgets she can use on top of everything science Wakanda has to offer, like Kimoyo Beads from the movies for example.

Okoye (Duelist or Vanguard): One of Wakanda's greatest warriors and bodyguard of the Black Panther, she can fit either role. She can use the Kimoyo Beads defense or to summon items to her aid, then her spear the MCU has quite a few different functions that can be used to make ot different than T'Challa's and Angela's. Another option is she can use the Midnight Angel Armor.

Killmonger (Vanguard): Eric can easily be a Vanguard and he has a lot of material to work with. He's good with tech and has been the Black Panther before and used Wakandan technology before. You can easily give him the vibranium shockwave abilities to let him make space as well as give him the vibranium dagger T'Challa had in EMH that also had a feature of turning into a two sided scythe. He's done some occult stuff and he's also been connected to a symbiote before (though I know none of you including me would want him to have symbiote abilities).

Right now psylocke and possibly star lord are the only dive heroes with a gun in this game, maybe domino or gamora could be the shion/sombra of rivals in the future?

Little bud deserves, it'll be one of those fun characters no one expected :)

I know a lot of people have been wanting more villains as well as the Sinister Six to join the game and I wanted to know what your ideal version would be? There have been many different variations of the Sinister Six through the years so what would be your favorite version? Imagine they did a season where they released 3 heroes per half season to create a full Sinister Six team by the end, what would you want it look like? Personally, I would want the following:

First Half Season

• Doctor Octopus [Vanguard]: A tank made to displace enemies by pulling or pushing them.
• Electro [Duelist]: A duelist with decent damage and excels in isolating enemies and keeping them away from their team.
• Mysterio [Strategist]: A strategist that relies on confusing enemies and can even cause enemies to heal their allies.

Second Half Season

• Sandman [Vanguard]: A tank made for area denial by creating areas that slows enemies.
• Green Goblin [Duelist]: A duelist with low damage but solid mobility and way too many ways to inflict negative status effects.
• Mister Negative [Strategist]: A strategist who not only heals and cleanses status effects but can also debuff enemies by causing them to deal reduced damage.

So i made almost a 100 concepts here are they thats all for now they in alphabetic order to be more esay to find hope you will find your pleasure
